Great street presence with decent options priced relatively well for the area average. I like the options offered that lets you customize to get a little of everything if you so desire. The birthday dessert and staff were delightful and attentive to our needs without being intrusive. Parking may be tricky if parking between the buildings, but there is plenty of street parking within walkable distance so that's a huge plus

By far of the best sushi spots in Pasadena-Alhambra-Arcadia area! I’ve tried so many and this place is the PERFECT mix of affordability and quality! The portions are great, the fish is always cold and fresh, and you can not beat their prices, I find myself coming back at least once a month!

We also ordered their Food was delicious and service was exceptional! I loved their teriyaki salmon dinner entree.

We enjoyed the food and great customer service at this little neighborhood gem. Thanks Dabin for the EXCELLENT service and suggestion of the Shut Up Roll- super spicy just like we love it!

Celebrate a birthday here with a large group and it was fantastic. They have a good sized parking lot behind the restaurant. Everything we ordered was excellent.

I was pretty impressed with their food! The salmon was fatty and cut in thick slices, and the tuna boats were delicious! The dynamite was great too. Overall 5 stars!

You know how there are some sushi places that you’re just not sure of because their sushi may be a small sized and not make you full or good sized and leave you satisfied and happy? Well, look no further! Rest assured Tokoro is delicious, hearty, generous with their portions and will leave you feeling happy, full, satisfied and there may be leftovers! You can’t go wrong with the classic Rainbow Roll, Unagi Roll, the Spider Man Roll and the Lion King Roll! WOO! YUM! Sauce and ginger are no charge and they’re great to order on DOOR DASH! Happy Eating! I’ll definitely order here again!

This place is amazing. Their Chicken Katsu plate is the best I’ve ever had, very fresh, well-prepared, and their prices are very good. It’s a hidden treasure but not for long!

Ordered on postmates, gotta give it up to them! Salmon sashimi was great. Salmon rolls were good. Udon tempura was good too! Rainbow roll was solid.

I've only done takeout since the pandemic started but this place never fails to deliver awesome tasting and filling sushi! My usuals are the Mountain Roll (my favorite) and Rainbow Roll. Can't wait to dine in one day.

So good is makes us to come too often. Highly recommend the yellowtail sashimi. The sexy roll, Philadelphia roll, and sunshine roll are also quite great.

Today I tried Spicy BBQ Pork Tokoro Deluxe Lunch Box & it was so good. So this is a good place for Japanese Food in Pasadena!! And if I come back here again I will try the Chicken Katsu Tokoro Deluxe Lunch Box.

Great food. Lovely staff. Met my girlfriends whom I hadn’t seen for 2 years and we were allowed a leisurely 2 hour lunch. A favorite for sure.

The food is excellent! The staff is always pleasant and attentative and they give you a complementary bowl of edames to start. Tokoro is reasonably priced, you get alot for your buck. My sister and I order the Deluxe Udon Combination for $23.95 and share it. I usually order the miso soup and a salad on the side. The combination is alot for one person, atleast for me it is. I highly recommend Tokoro for Japanese food. I stopped going to some Japanese restaurants I used to frequent because the price, ambiance and quality is much better at Tokoro!

Great selection of sushi, rolls, hot food, nice staff and environment. Plentiful soba noodles. I liked everything about this place. Would come again.

A lovely experience from start to finish. The food was fantastic , especially the fried calamari. The service was great and the restaurant has a chill and comfortable vibe.

Hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had. Everything is always so fresh! If you like spicy tuna, order the Mountain Roll and the Tuna Boat; they’ll make your eyes roll back in your head.
Our server, Joy, lived up to her name. 🙂
