Ace Hardware of South Pasadena

My wife and I often shop at Ace Hardeare to get things for house and also for the garden and many things. This location use be Orchards it like a Ace they everything before they changed names to Orachatds.

Excellent experience once again. On October 5th, 2023, i purchased a 7/8" hole saw with the purpose of cutting into Abs plastic for a project. I finally had time to use it today, and it didn't work for me. It ruined my project and had to purchase a new sheet of ABS. However, i had thrown away my receipt in the trash as i didn't think i would need it. I have other Ace hardware branded hole saws that i have used on plastic and have worked flawlessly with this 7/8" being the only exception. Thankfully, i was able to get assisted by a very polite associate named Susan. She was able to find my purchase without the receipt by using my phone number that is linked to my Ace rewards card. I am thankful to her for helping me today. With that look up, i was able to make a return for the hole saw, and i was able to purchase two different styles of hole cutters to see which one will work best for me. I will be keeping both. Thank you, Susan, for making my experience stress free. Associates like you are the reason i keep returning to Ace Hardware for my project needs.

These guys are life savers. I’m moving and have just a few days left and needed boxes, desperately. I tried using the Home Depot app, and it’s just *absolute trash*. I only wanted ten boxes, and their only delivery window was six days away. (There is so much more I could complain about with them) I needed the boxes in the next couple days.

Ace might not be the behemoth that HD is, but they totally rescued me. I went online, ordered my boxes for delivery and thought I was good. Almost immediately, I got a call from them but missed it. I called them back and asked if there was a problem. Absolute kudos to their front desk team, or whomever answers their phones, because they told me their truck is having issues and the nearest day, Tuesday, for delivery was already full. I told them I couldn’t wait longer than Tuesday and the man said he’d talk to the manager.

Long story short, the manager personally brought the boxes to me today, Monday, using his own car. I was *SO* appreciative of Oscar for bringing me them, and even offered, then insisted, he take a $20 for his time, and he steadfastly refused. He told me to just donate it to the charities at the register when I come in next.

A *HUGE* thank you to Oscar, and whomever else was manning the phones and dealing with me. Totally pleasant, efficient, and quick to help me out. I cannot recommend them enough. Give them all a raise! A+++

They have everything I need for good prices. Customer service exceeded my expectations.

When I can’t find it at the big box store this is my go to for hard to find hardware items. Helpful staff who will assist you to find what you need. That being said, it is quite pricey so plan to pay 20-30 percent more for your shopping experience. Love that it’s not a warehouse, but a retail store geared for customer service. Not just a hardware store, they also have pet, patio and garden items.

SUPER ACE!!.. Seems larger than most Ace stores.. well organized and helpful staff willing and able to locate items via wireless communication..

This place is a huge ACE Hardware. Super clean and organized. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I bought a giant Craftsman tool chest. The guys loaded it in my truck with no problems. So the strange thing was, it was $100 more in store than online. Never sure why that is. He told me just buy it online, get the good price and he'll get the tool chest ready for loading. I did that, got the good price and everything went smoothly. Great job.

If you don’t find it here it isn’t a hardware item. This store has it all. Staff directed me to exactly were I would find what I needed. Best Ace ever.

large store to replace the osh that was here before. nice selection of materials and tools for all kinds of projects. ended up here looking for some sandpaper and masks and the staff were all friendly and helpful. staff was nice and helpful with my toddler in tow. they had popcorn out as well and the rewards program was easy to sign up. could be here for hours exploring with easy parking

Am not much of a follower..ace hardware has a variety of items ,that u can't find at other home improvement centers,bring your wallet,there is reason thy are located in afluet neighborhood, not ,do it yrself,ares of town

I drive all the way from Walnut to work with the folks here - they are super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Mikal in the paint department is a class act and goes above & beyond! Worth the drive

I really like this ACE hardware. They have way more than hardware! Last tike I went I bought home cleaning supplies, had keys made and plants. Staff is knowledgeable and store is super well organized and clean. They also have a accessible scooter for customers to use.

When I came in it was mildly busy. They have a good size parking lot with a couple of handicapped places. People were very helpful. I got good information from everybody I asked. I was getting parts for a water drip system. I got in I got out. It was all good. No I didn't compare prices. What I wanted was a smaller less congested hardware store.
