The Lion's Den Barbershop South Hill

Went from active to reserve duty, so needed a good barber. Best cut of my life here! Of all the places I've been that are "best in town" this shop I swear had the best barbers in the world!

GREAT SERVICE GREAT CUT!!!! They told my boy to hang up his coat and when he tried to hand it to me they said “ don’t you hand it to her, hang it up we’re gonna turn you into a man here” lol it was awesome and they had great communication in making sure my son was happy with his cut. He looks sharp!!!!

I have been going to this shop since about when this newer location opened (maybe 2018?). I typically see Rich, but have had cuts from a couple of the other guys as well. These guys straight up know how to cut! I always come out looking my best! Head and beard! Have tried other places, but nothing compares to The Lion’s Den! Furthermore, the place is always clean, the atmosphere can’t be beat, and I’m always laughing in the chair at some point. This crew is unmatched! Way overdue leaving a positive review. My grandson and I go see Mike and he does a great job….. friendly, talented and after trying a number of barbers in Puyallup/South Hill, this is our go-to barber every time now.

No matter your age, your race, or preferences in life, these men know how to cut your hair.
Depending on your pockets, the price might be on the high side, but you 100% are paying for that clean cut.
You will walk out liking the way you look.

Been going to Lions Den for a few years now and I highly recommend it. The staff are professional, efficient and friendly. Scheduling is actually as described, no waiting. The physical location is well kept and clean, I feel safe taking the kids in with me. I personally book with Richard but the other babrers in the shop seem pretty skilled also from the work I seen. I got the full razor head shave, beard trim and edge and my ebrows trimmed all within a reasonable price, check them out!

Great place. I got my hair cut. I love it. I get complimented on it everyday. Mr. Yancy even recommended me to another one of his barbers that specializes in design. I will try him next time I need a cut down. Great place and good service. Appointments are definitely necessary. Prices are reasonable to.

This place is the only one, besides its Lion Den counterpart downtown, that will cut a boys hair and put an awesome design on their head. My sons hair looks amazing and the barber, Myc, was perfection. He explained what he was doing and made sure my son was comfortable and understood what was going on. The price is worth the outcome. Amazing people, great shop.

Have been looking for a solid barber for awhile. Have tried a few but they could never get what I wanted. Called for an appointment and able to accommodate in an hour. I got exactly what I asked for with superior attention to detail. These guys know their craft very well. Friendly and sociable . Yancy was the barber and easily gave the best cut I've personally ever had. The appointment was within the hour of making it and on time once arrived. Barber was super courteous and great attention to detail while keeping the shop in pristine order. Would highly recommend.

First time here.

I called this morning hoping for a last minute appointment for my 10 year old son, and they were able to get him in in only 30 minutes. There were two barbers working at the time, and a third came in before we left.

It is EXTREMELY clean in here. I love that.

Decor is simple and tasteful. TV's on with sports, relaxed environment. The barbers were incredibly friendly, and my son loved his cut.

Prices are super reasonable for a high quality experience; don't expect a cheap GreatClips cut. You will pay between $35-$40 and it'll take 30-45 minutes. These guys are talented and take their time.

Been going here for 4 years and every-time I went, I was ALWAYS satisfied. Being black and military, finding new barbershop is one of the most freighting things ever, but luckily I found lions den. From start to finish, each barber ensures you’re taken care of and you’re looking better than what you came in. Customer service is top notch and they make you always feel welcomed and appreciated. Their appointment only barbershop makes life so much simpler. No more waiting all day, Friday and Saturday for a haircut; you’re appointment time is your time regardless of how many people are waiting. Yancy and his staff are ALWAYS on point and will give you their 100%. This shop is very, well organized. At times, I just went for the environment because they all weclcome you like family. If you’re looking for a new barbershop, stop searching and go to Lions den! This is definitely more than 5 stars but that’s the max I can give! Thank you Yancy, Lamar, Mike, and rich for EVERYTHING. Rich was highly detailed, thorough, and efficient. The atmosphere is chill. Casual banter among barbers and other patrons was lighthearted and fun to interact with. I got a hair cut and beard trim, both were handled with extreme skill. Best cut I’ve had in…well, I can’t really remember. Can’t wait for the next visit.

Got a haircut and beard trim from Rich a week or so ago. Dude is talented took his time and made sure everything was on point. Good conversations all around the shop. Multiple tvs with different sports on. Only thing missing was a cold beer. I'll definitely be back!

Omg!! Finally, I found a barber!! This place is fantastic, and the owner did my trim and cut! The guys are great to talk to and lots of laughs. It is by reservation only, but it was so worth the wait!! I'm definitely going back!

I’ve been to basically every barber shop in the area and this is definitely the best place. It’s the cleanest shop I’ve ever been to and it’s not expensive like most places. I got exactly what I wanted for $16. The barber Yancy asks you what you want and double checks before he does anything. He spends a solid 30 minutes on you and he is very detail oriented. Don’t waste your time and money on the bad barber shops that give you massages after. There are too many of those around this area

The only set back is that it’s appointment only. But I called for same day appointment and was able to come in within the hour. They can fit you in if there are cancellations

You won’t leave disappointed. I’m going to be a regular there from now on
