This park is a hidden gem. It's quiet and ideal for socially distanced outdoor activities. There's many sport courts: tennis, baseball, basketball, soccer, volleyball. There's also a playground, horse arenas, picnic areas, clean restrooms, little free community library, and much more. This peaceful park gives access to charming hiking and horse riding trails. The lawns are very well kept.

Great park. Went for walk on trail with my son, cousin and her two dogs. The trail was perfect. Had a great view of Los Angeles where you could have a picnic. As we continued on the trail to park, we saw all kinds of fun critters. Passed by a stable and saw two cute ponies and an adorable goat. My two and half year old loved running around picking up sticks and kicking leaves. The park was modern, lots of room to run and be creative. Lots of climbing. Great for ages 2-12. Or even older. Even though it was wood chip, it was soft and well maintained. I will definitely come back.

Great place for playing sports, letting the dog run around and hiking! With multiple tennis and basketball courts, you can get exercise many different ways! Also, Butcher Hill is at the top of the hiking trails and is a wonderful view of the entire city and on a clear day, even to downtown! And if you take Fern Creek or Valmonte Trails, you will see some gorgeous horses!

Great local horse facility for events, schooling and chill time. No full time horse stabling though, no boarding.

Great local park in Rolling Hills Estates. Has a nice playground with netting that is good for toddlers to climb. There is also a horse training area that is nice for the kids to view the horses and trainers.

One of my favorite parks in the area! Lots of climbing so fun for the older kids. There is a great field area, it's quiet, clean bathrooms and plenty of tables and benches. We love this park and I have kids ages 3-8

Great running and easy hiking trails! Looking for a place to make you feel like you’re in Kentucky or at the very least “NOT Los Angeles”? This is a great secluded getaway with a brand new playground for the kids and lots of sandy dirt (with lots of mulch in some places) paths to get away from the hustle bustle of LA traffic. Go for a 2 hour hike and never cross the same path twice. Get a great rolling hill run in. You’ll encounter horseback riders and dog walkers... but very little of them, or anyone else, making you feel like you own a piece of God’s country. Until you get back in your car to go home. Nice little free library and GREAT bathrooms and drinking fountains!

Safe environment, there is a play area for kids , with swings and slides, a baseball field, and you also might see people on horseback at the horse ring training, lots of parking

Most people don't know this but this park and equestrian facility was created from a solid waste landfill. This was filled in the 70's under a agreement between Rolling Hills Estates and the LA County Sanitation Districts.

The fill is all construction debris, so the fill doesn't produce any significant landfill gas nor does it settle.

There are hiking trails that you can take from.the park. If you walk to the top of "Butcher Hill"(an easy climb), there is a tremendous view of the LA basin from Long Beach to
Malibu.

Beautiful park. Great view of LA as well when you go up the hill. Went at a great time as well when the wildflowers bloomed. Only downside is they close at "sunset" which tends to feel like an arbitrary time.

Previously I only gave a 4 star rating, but that was because I was being selfish .I wanted to keep it for myself! This is a wonderful park. 3 baseball fields , horse stables, a basketball court, a child's play area, and 8 tennis courts . Of course there are residency requirements for the tennis courts and little league comes 1st on the baseball diamonds. But, there are still nice green areas, and picnic tables.

Very huge park. Lots to do. Only downfall is that there is only two restroom stalls (one for men and one for women) near the kids play structure.
