Heritage Bank

Absolutely extraordinary folks here. Special attention to Megan and Jacqueline - sharp, agile minds, wonderful women. They support and assist in a way I've never seen before. If they opened a Megeline Bank I'd go there as well.

Greatest bank. No issues. Was my childhood bank so my mom's bank and now me and my husband's bank and our little one has a account to. Love them and yes I tried 3 different banks and had problems with each one so went back to my roots and with heritage

Outstanding customer service and staff. This is a wonderful group and bank. Coral, Renee and the others here are terrific. They have my highest compliments. I have been with them for over 10 years now.

I was in a bit of a rush, but the teller, Maggie, was a total sweetheart and gave me a little tour around the place before I ran off. It's beautiful, with a mural of South Tacoma on the back wall and a statue like the one outside of the old 56th bank. Super clean and quick in and out.

We wanted to pull money out the atm on Saturday after noon. It's all boarded up!! What the hell!
The tellers are always nice, it's a nice looking establishment. However, they need to fix this. There may be other atm's in the area, but this is ridiculous.

Very slow. Customer service has not been good here and they always take a very long time to complete anything that I need assistance with. I live by this one but typically take the extra time to drive to the one on union for better service. I’m sad that I didn’t do that today.

If you care about your money, don’t put it in a Heritage Bank. Customer service is beyond horrendous. Legitimately holding my businesses money (thousands of dollars) and won’t respond to me. GFYS Heritage. Worst banking institution in the state.

The bank of the future wasn't very helpful. I've had nothing but positive banking history and was excited to open a checking account at their newest branch - close to my home, yet was denied because of their system - which is fine, but they couldn't give me any information as to why and wasn't very helpful on how I could find out. I'm a homeowner with good credit history and nothing but positive banking history, so they lost a potential good customer. Also, I started with one lady the day prior who told me to come back the next day and when I did she didn't even say hello, I was handled by the door greeter.. just a cold experience all around. Sticking with my credit union.

Went in this morning to open a checking account. The building was nice and new and staff seemed to be friendly. Was greeted by whom I assuming was the branch manager or supervisor Renee. She had the vibe of forced customer service which came across as not genuine. She told me it would be a few minutes before someone could see me. I understood, I’m not an unreasonable person. A few minutes had passed and I was taken back to an office in which I was told someone would help me. I should have gotten her name, but she assisted me in the process of opening an account. She was extremely rushed and seemed like I was inconveniencing her by even being there. In addition to that, she asked me some personal questions about my job and made comments like “that’s so gross, I could never do that because I’m a germaphobe!”
I’m all for having an opinion in this great country of America, but probably shouldn’t say stuff like that to potential prospects. Furthermore, instead of entering stuff in the computer right away, she wrote everything down on a post it note; including my SSN. I told her that made me extremely uncomfortable and asked her to please shred it.
All in all, I decided not to open a checking account because of my entire first impression of the place. I was hoping that Heritage bank would be the one because it’s closer to home, but not at this time.
Please consider this feedback as a learning experience.

Slow service and charges a fee where another branch does it for free.
