Hotel Pacific

Hotel Pacific is a beautiful hotel near the wharf. You can feel the ambiance as soon as you walk into the lobby with an hacienda/colonial type feeling. Our room was super clean and spacious with a fireplace. Comfortable, firm beds. The breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit. I cannot say enough - we loved our hotel stay.

Don't think you can find a better value. It's definitely not new, but it felt clean, comfortable and safe. The location is very convenient. Our suite was quite large, with separate dining and living areas, and a little balcony. The bathroom also had two showers, very practical. Parking has a separate fee of $22 per day, it's located on a ground floor, which feels more secure compared to the outdoor parking lots.

The hotel was prefect for my family on our trip, we stayed in one of their suites. We enjoyed the lay out of the room and hotel.
Their complimentary breakfast has to be one of the best ones yet. Loved how it was clean and they were always checking on you and stocking the food.
There was only 2 things I would say that need to be updated but nothing from rating them down.
We loved that we were only 5 minutes from old town Monterey and fisherman wharf. We will be staying here again.

Place is clean and the front desk staff is really nice and accommodating. This is a great if you go on vacation with spouse. But i wish they have two queen bed room instead of double bed. Until they start to put in the 2 queen beds, I’ll have to find another place when I return to Monterey with my teenage kids. Overall its a good to place for me and my wife as a couple only.

Nice hotel and the location downtown is excellent. Rooms are large and spacious. Comfortable bed. Front desk is fine.

Room was nice, clean and spacious. The hotel has a rustic feel to it. The breakfast could be improved with adding scrambled egg and better quality of bread. Overall a good place and we would like to come back.

Clean and updated rooms, still has a wonderful atmosphere. That you can only get with a boutique hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They love Monterey and the Hotel Pacific and it shows in everything they do.

Stayed a few nights for a beach getaway. Rooms were nice with comfy beds, but the tiniest pillows I've ever seen. If your room does not face the street, the view from your balcony is not the greatest. Is not horrible though. We received great service from everyone during our stay. Staff were genuinely happy and eager to help. Because the hotel is so close to a tourist attraction, they charge $22 a night to park your car in the covered garage. Kinda steep, but you're very near Cannery row and the aquarium. There was not a working hot tub when we were there, but it is tiny anyways. Fits 2 1/2 comfortably. Ice is available only through room service. But they are quick to deliver. I would stay here again.

I recently stayed at Hotel Pacific due to a business trip and its proximity to the Monterey Convention Center, but I will definitely be going back with my husband! I was surprised to find that the room had a fireplace, large bathroom, sitting areas, and a large enclosed outdoor patio. My room faced the courtyard, and I loved the sound of the water fountain. It has so much more character than a standard hotel we've all been in a hundred times. My car remained parked in the underground parking garage the entire time as I walked everywhere I wanted to go. Highly recommend!

Great location, beautiful place. Comfy rooms, & bedding, nice bathroom, lovely patio! Paid for parking, but the garage was easy to drive and park in. Staff was really nice!

Excellent continental breakfast, easy parking, free if handicap, walking distance to Fishermans Wharf and bicycling distance to Cannery Row all at a very reasonable cost! Dinning area in room, balcony or patio with a cozy fireplace! Pet Friendly!

Loved the location, close to everything, the Warf and downtown restaurants, walking was great we made a good choice, would stay again and recommend Hotel Pacific.

My husband and I absolutely love this hotel and only stay here when in Monterey. Great hotel for romance and some R & R. We always say that we wish we could permanently buy a room.

We had a wonderful stay. Room was clean, comfy, and we loved the fireplace. The continental breakfast had everything we needed and the staff member who helped us was very sweet. We loved how close the hotel was to the downtown Fisherman's Wharf area. We live in the Santa Cruz area and enjoy taking many staycations so we're really happy to have found this place and look forward to staying again soon! Thank you.

Amazing place to stay! Beautiful and spacious rooms with fireplace! Close to everything!

The usual Premier Junior Suite on the top floor with ocean view is always my choice.
Rooms are very nice and clean the staff are always very nice and the location is within walking distance of the Fisherman Warf, Aquarium, and the Cannery Row shopping center.
Great places to explore all kind of seafood!

Great spot in Monterey for a quiet stay and very close to everything you need.

Great experience, older hotel but very cozy fireplaces in rooms are worth the visit

Cool little getaway rooms are nosiey you can hear everything. People above us up all night. However staff did respond quickly and offered us a room change. Breakfast was definitely good fresh hot food and plenty if pastry bagles and more. I would stay aging However I would get the top floor.

The room was better than expected. The in room fireplace was a nice romantic touch to the room. We had a nice patio above the fountain (downside: there was an opening on the patio to the next room). Room was very spacious.

Perfect location to dining and the waterfront. Quick walk to Cannery Row with local marine life along the walk.

Planning on staying here anytime we are in Monterey in the future and will definitely recommend to friends.
