SureStay Hotel

The rooms aren't fancy but they are clean! The proprieter was friendly. The price is great for the area. Located not too far from the big attractions of the area.

Came down for a music festival. Hotel prices were very elevated that weekend. That put us in a hotel that we may not normally stay at. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The gentleman at the front desk was so friendly and so accommodating! He let us check in as our room became available which I hope he doesn't get in trouble for that but it meant so much to us. We drove a long way and had to get ready for our concert it was such a blessing to be able to check in early. The hotel was clean and it was safe. It was within walking distance of the beach. There was a Costco behind the hotel. We walked to Costco grabbed lunch then walked to the beach and had a picnic lunch before the concert one day. The rooms were small yes. It was a motel with doors on the outside but the rooms come with a door stopper that we used to wedge the door shut in addition to the safety latch and the deadbolt so we felt very secure. The continental breakfast was very basic but you get what you pay for! The coffee and juice tasted great! Over all it was great!

Absolutely loved this place! The staff was friendly and accommodating and everything was clean and tidy and available! Was a great cost-efficient way to see our son and his family! Thank you for such great service and a great place to stay! Will definitely be back!

The day time manager is so sweet and will take good care of you. Hard working staff. Parking and rooms are secured very well, very safe. Continental breakfast better than most. Coffee EXCELLENT, juice's not watered down like the competition!! We WILL be back here again. You should try it

The amenities are amazing! We booked I totally normal room, nothing special. What we got was a wonderfully modern, super clean room with a fireplace and everything. We payed a very reasonable price, too. We loved it!!!

The rooms are clean and it looks like it's been renovated. The room has a mini fridge and microwave.
The prices are very reasonable. It's in a good location. Monterey is just down the road. I will definitely be staying here again.

Very clean room. Front desk where polite and quick for checking me in... easy access to freeway , lots of stores and restaurants near by. There's breakfast in the mornings (the room is really small and can get awkwardly crowded) and the best park is check out is at 12pm. Any other hotel check out is at 11. Definitely recommend it and will be returning

Sweet and small. Expensive, however they had availability last minute which we appreciated a lot. It was definitely cheaper than other places in the surrounding areas. Room appeared to have been recently remodeled, which was a plus. Very sociable and friendly staff at the front desk. We had a great stay overall.

We loved our stay and even extended it to two nights shortly after arriving. The rooms are clean and well decorated, and the staff was very helpful. They have a neat deal on aquarium tickets, for the regular price you can purchase them through the hotel and they will get you in two days instead of just one. They also seemed to have a select number of coupons on local tours and such.

I enjoyed their hospitality. Very professional and welcoming. The room was nice as well. Only thing is I don't like those new wooden blinds. all the hotels around here are switching to them and I don't like them because they don't provide privacy. The blinds are full of flaws and peepholes

I went to stay here at for the weekend for my birthday. I really enjoyed it! The place was throughly clean and everything worked (i.e. television, phone, etc). My kiddos and husband loved it was well. We where on the bottom floor. I got some great sleep. The individual at the front desk was amazing and very helpful when it came to anything we needed. The best part was that my service dog was able to stay with me and that was perfect. Again my weekend was amazing! If your ever in town you have to stay here. We will be back. What a great experience. Stayed in a family room with one bed out front and two in the back. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Breakfast in the morning offered oatmeal, waffles, cereal and fruit, perfect for our family of 5. Perfect option with kids!!

I love staying here . It’s so close to the beach and shopping . The rooms are clean and at a great rate ! You can still receive daily house keeping during COVID ( a lot of hotel chains cut back on this ) . You really can’t beat the price for what you get it’s hidden gem . I usually don’t like hotel soaps but the brand of shampoo and soap they have is actually really nice . The king bed room with the fireplace is pretty romantic I must say . Any time I visit Monterey I always stay here ! If you wanted to walk to the beach it would prob take about 10 mins or less . Check out is at 12pm which is also nice most places are 11am . There are so many good places really close by . If your visiting Monterey I would recommend checking out the 17 mile drive it’s $10.50 to enter breath taking views beaches with white sand you have to see for yourself

Very nice. Staff is very polite. If you need a nice place to rest you head this is the place. Breakfast is basic, mostly carbs. Nifty pancake machine. I would definitely come back here when I'm back in Monterey.

Breakfast space was very small everyone was bumping into each other, but it was manageable. The rooms were great and alot nicer than other hotels ive been in around the same price point, our first suites tub was leaking and it took them not even 5 minutes to switch us out and into a different one 👍. Theres lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Only other thing was cops showing up, not sure why, didnt ask but they were there for a good hour in a nearby room. All in all I do recommend

Both the girlfriend and I were quite pleased with the accommodations. Nothing particularly fancy, but clean and reasonably priced. Safe location and the breakfast was a welcome treat. Would recommend!

Alright so lemme be real with y'all... This ain't your everyday Best Western experience. This is a subcontracted motel experience without all the bells and whistles we've come to know and love. That said, the proximity to the Naval Post Graduate school and the Army Language School makes this a convenient place to stop when you are visiting. Also, it's close enough to Monterey Aquarium to justify.

The staff was very polite and ready to assist with any of our needs the rooms were clean. Linen was fresh, I have nothing to say but good things

Its location is a little bit ghetto but sure stay is the nicest hotel in the area and the guys that work there or you know there a little bit quiet but they really are helpful and they've been very kind of me every time I've gone there it fills up really fast on the weekends because the rooms are nice be kept in their Queen I've never had a problem there and it's safe I feel safe there and if you have a chance and you look very very good value this is one that you can count on
