Tveten’s Auto Clinic

After having a bad experience in another shop, I gave Tvetens a try. I was happily surprised by the prompt and friendly service. From the first phone call to the complete explanation of issues, I was in good hands. They diagnosed my brake issue and easily made the replacement. They let me know how the brakes would sound and feel the first week or 2 and to bring it back if there were any problems.

The cost was half of what I usually paid. I believe they have fair prices and honest mechanics. This is my new auto repair shop for life! I will send all my friends am family there. They will take care of you!!

When my daughters car broke down, I started calling around to get it repaired. Tveten's was the only one that would take it right away. They quickly diagnosed and provided me with a very reasonable estimate. Had the car back in less than 48 hours. I would definitely trust them again if one of our vehicles need it. And, they have discounts for AAA, Military, etc.

Fantastic. I brought in my newly purchased car for an oil change, hoping that I wouldn’t get bad news about it’s condition. They looked over the car and said everything was good, and took the time to explain what all services were due, and which I may want to have done. They also took the time to explain why I should not get my transmission fluid changed if it has never been changed before (I was at 160 something thousand miles). I also had them change out all of my exterior lights. They’re honest enough to have asked me why I wanted my headlights changed, since they worked and it was not entirely needed. (One was a tad dim and I just wanted them to be the same because I am a nonsense human)

Incredibly happy with this shop and blown away by their customer service! They handled everything with my warranty company and kept me in the loop the entire way; they even worked to get my out of pocket costs lowered and were honest about what needed to be repaired and what could wait. Wish I could give more stars, highly recommend!

Great service! Had my new battery sensor installed and windshield wipers repaired. Everyone was super nice and the cost was much cheaper than the dealership’s quote. Would highly recommend them.

Had purchased a used car and took to Tveten's for a check up. They did a wonderful job of going through the car. As the car had been well taken care of there were only two items to be done -- wiper blades and a new oil switch. As usual all the employees were kind and helpful. I started using Tveten's about 10 years ago and have always been well pleased with their work. They deserve 10 stars.

I needed an oil change, new tires, and a new shop to do these, so I chose Tveten's. My parents had taken their cars there and were always satisfied.
The 30-point inspection was thorough and relevant to my car's needs and usage. And it relieved some concerns I'd had, because it was accurate and they only recommended work that actually needed to be done a little bit "down the road". This will be my car's new repair home! 😀😀😀😀😀

After hitting a curb in the snow, my mazda was super unalligned. They warned me before hand that it may be something more than just a misalignment and to be aware. After about an hour, they told me there was actually nothing else wrong and were super honest instead of lying about it to charge me. Super cool guys and front desk was super nice too. This is my trusted shop from now on. Thanks guys!

A few months ago we started going to Tveten's Auto Clinic and have had exceptional service. They took me back to the shop to show me what was wrong with my car. They fixed it in a timely manner and were very nice. Most recently I had to have my car towed there when it broke down, which is not something anyone want's o have to do. They took care of my car and me right away and made sure it was back to good working order before sending me on my way. I can't say enough good things about this place. The people are friendly and honest and truly do their best for you and your car!!

Great service and workers. They took care of my vehicle very quickly and correctly. They fixed it after I had just taken it to another place close to Tveten's. The other place told me there was nothing wrong with my vehicle, after charging me a $60 diagnostic fee. I even had to explain to the other manager how my vehicle was supposed to function, after having owned four similar models myself. Needless to say, I won't be going back to the other place.

My car was a total mess, needed a lot of work and a lot more looked at to find the problems. A day wouldn't be long enough to look at it all, but Tveten's not only got me in same day that I called but they offered me a loaner car so I wouldn't be stuck without a vehicle during the repairs!! Ray detailed everything they were going to do for the car as well as estimates of cost. He called before doing any more work than originally estimated, which I was extremely grateful for. AMAZING, friendly staff, they went out of their way to make it an easy process for me. I would highly recommend this business to anyone that needs auto repair, they went above and beyond what was necessary to help me out and did it all with a smile. After chasing around Pierce County trying one mechanic and repair shop after another since 2015 to solve a recurring mechanical failure I took my van to Tveten's Auto Clinic in Lakewood, WA. Not only did they solve the problem but did so in record time. From all the staff, front office to mechanics in back I found enthusiastic support and great services from every staff person I met there. The owner, Scott has automotive DNA in his blood, Nichole is always on top of progress and kept me informed every step of the way. Ray who manages the shop is well informed. Together they create a great place to have all my work done with a personal and friendly environment. Thanks guys.

Great people that simply care! My truck happened to break down 1 block away from them...I thought I knew what the problem was, but I didn't have the right tools. They totally saved the day when they let me borrow what I needed, and then to top it off, they actually gave me a ride to a parts store! I wasn't even a paying customer and they helped me fix my truck. They truly cared and showed it through genuine kindness while donating their time. This is a business you can trust!

I brought my Fusion in to check my brakes after my brake job because they seemed to be squeaking. The technician checked my car out thoroughly and asked if I drove my car very often. I don't and he seemed to know that. He then explained that I needed to drive it more often just to break in the new brakes. My Fusion was brand new when I bought it so it's been a long time since I had new brakes. I forgot that I needed to do that.
I find Tveten's to be a very friendly and professional shop. When I originally brought my Fusion into the shop for a few issues, including my brakes I also brought a quote from Ford for the work I needed to have done. They were able to beat the quoted amount and time it would take from Ford. It's nice to find a place I can trust my car to other than just the dealership.

I found this service clinic for my car when I moved to Lakewood. The responsiveness of the personnel is wonderful. I especially was impressed with Nichole and her ability to anticipate my needs. She gave me a loner car when my vehicle was kept overnight and provided a ride when the service was short=time.
Work done was great and communication by service staff clear.

Let me start off by saying... WOW! I called them on a recommendation and a prayer. My family and I were leaving on a move across country and as luck has it the truck broke. I talked to Nicole and explained the urgency of my situation and how I needed it fixed as soon as possible. I told her I didnt care how much it cost just as long as I could get it back before we left. She told me to get the truck down there and they would do everything they could.

Long story short, they did it! Not only did they get it fixed they didnt gouge me. Jason, their tech was very receptive to my observations and knocked it right out.

In the end, they were very accommodating and right on the money in price. Give them a chance if you need work done. Thank you guys!

This establishment is VERY professional! The hospitality is through the roof. I will be taking my truck to them until I leave for another duty station. Ray was super nice, respectful, and professional. I don't remember the lady's name at the front desk but she was also the same as Ray. They fixed my truck in a timely manner and it's running very good now. There was no price gouging just because I'm a woman. ( alot of mechanics go up on prices when a woman walks in) Tveten's Auto Clinic is honest. I will recommend anyone to Tvetwn's Auto Clinic.

If there's one place I'd go to get my car fixed, it's here. They're fast and efficient. They managed to replace a blown gasket and fix my brake pads within a week. Their staff are patient and polite, and they always ask for approval before they touch anything. Real professional mechanics.
