V. Sattui Winery

Well reviewed vineyard that makes wine accessible to the masses. You can buy the wine, some cheese and other small bites then take them out to the yard and have a picnic under the trees. Staff are friendly and helpful and it’s a lovely place to be in spring and other months when the weather isn’t too hot.

Guess what? They are kind and friendly here. Amazing deli, shaded tables, clean restrooms, and the most friendly staff… Your business is appreciated here, and it shows.💯 (Unlike the prior Winery I just reviewed that was the worst customer service I’ve ever received - and I’ve lived here 20years!) Thank you again for the great wine, deli, grounds and friendly staff.

Came here with a group of 4 and what a fun experience!

Good:
- We got extra pours since we had 2 birthdays! Thanks Ed!
- Each wine was really good quality and I liked the dessert wines a lot
- It’s very pretty inside, there’s a fountain and the inside of the tasting room is well lit too
- Price isn’t crazy per person either

Bad:
- A little busy so it might take time for you get served!

Overall super happy with the trip and getting to try out all of the different types of wine.

My most favorite winery so far. The experience was wonderful, the wines outstanding and the service is OMG I have no words. Alicia has so much knowledge and her carisma makes everything special. You sit outside and the view is amazing. They have a market where you can find delicacies, souvenirs, wines and more.

V Sattui was such a lovely experience for my wife, baby and I. There was lots of sitting spots in the back and in the front picnic areas. The deli is not crazy expensive and you get really good stuff. You can definitely tell ingredients are high quality. We arrived around 12:30ish on a Friday and it was already busy, so definitely our next visit will be earlier! Try the Spicy Italian sandwich 🥪 it was so goooood!

I love this place. They were absolutely crowded, but you wouldn't know how high the level of service was. I've been mail ordering the wine for years.

Justin and Lorenzo were great at suggesting wines during our tasting. We were surprised how much we liked the Madeira. There was a barbecue food truck at the picnic grounds on the Saturday that we went. The grounds are beautiful!

Gorgeous property. Absolutely love the marketplace and highly recommend. They have so many souvenir goodies, but also charcuterie items, and a deli for more substantial food. The staff was incredibly friendly there. we initially tried going on a Saturday afternoon but the parking lots were full so we couldn’t get in. We stopped in on a Monday early afternoon and it was not busy at all. A lot of picnic benches and seating available.

Private Wine Event. Wonderful evening atmosphere. Nice maze of wine tasting stations. Quality food and passed appetizers. Friendly/knowledgeable staff.

We made a stop here whilst on our honeymoon road trip from SF to LA. We booked for the Bubble Bar tasting and it was incredible. The experience was lovely, the place was so beautiful and I must have a special mention to Denise, who works there on weekends. She truly went over and beyond to make our experience unique and incredible. Thank you so much. The bubbles were delicious, we had such a great time and even brought 2 bottles home with us!!

This is a family -group friendly winery.

It has a wide outdoor picnic areas with picnic tables where you can bring your wine,snacks and sandwiches that you purchased from their mini shop.

Inside,You will find a fridge with specially made small batches gelato,a mini market for your charcuterie board ingredients like prosciutto,wide variety of cheese,olive oil, balsamic vinegar and crackers,they sell souvenirs and offers freshly made sandwiches, bottles of olives etc.

They are famous for their “artichoke cream cheese” that can be use as a dip or spread.
And “GAMAY ROUGE”madeira,bacci, moscato

They have wide selection of Their Famous Wines you may opt for chilled or not.They also offer Wine tasting inside that will guide you their wide array of selections of red wines,white wines etc.

I had a great customer service experience in this winery,Thanks to Emily as she is an expert to a different variety of wines,history,wine making process and it’s character.She helped me navigate my taste buds for wine.I will definitely be back again next time with my girlfriends…

This is one of the best wineries in the Napa Valley. The good part of this winery is they accept walk-ins. You have the option to buy wine from their store and drink in their common area even if you don’t have an appointment. Their winery tour do require appointment and would advise to get it in advance. The winery is really beautiful and plenty of seating and walking space. Their architecture is very good with plenty of parking space and overall we had a really good time.

We had the best experience at V. Sattui. We were able to get in without advanced notice. Ed was THE BEST. He challenged my usual tastes and we found new favorite wines. I highly recommend this Winery. We honestly should stayed there all day. Stopping by the deli is a must. If you're here for vacation I suggest coming in around 10 on a week day. We had the place basically to ourselves for the entire wine tasting.

Last here ~41 years ago. Was just a counter offering baguettes, cheese and wine with open space to picnic.
Really developed, offering a wide selection of food and beverages in the deli building, wine related items and great service. Tons of picnic tables and now a beautiful venue for events. Highly popular and rightfully so!

I don't know what else to tell you except that I love V Sattui. Been coming here for over 20 years. They have a good store with gourmet goodies, cooked, cheeses, meets, breads, olives, etc. decently priced for the most part.

Perhaps buy a bottle of wine or three in the wine tasting room. Note it costs $45 per person per tasting. And you're going to have to make reservations because they're so busy. But you can of course buy without tasting.

Then take your goodies outside to their grounds where you'll find picnic tables and benches. Beautiful scenery and trees, lawns, and just pure joy.

It has really changed a lot over the past 20 years. They're catered to the picnic goer and out in so much more parking and seating.

They sell their standard wines as well as master class. It's really a great place to spend a few hours on a sunny weekend.

There were eight of us in our party. We stopped in for a tasting and some chocolates. I must say so many excellent varietals and Bart our somaliere is a fountain of knowledge and very professional. Fun time had by all. Great location and a must visit in the Napa Valley. We will all return to this winery in the future.

V. Sattui is the place to go for anyone looking to hangout and have a good time! Not only do they have a wine tasting room, they also have a market and deli with a plethora of wine to choose from.

Food: They have a market and deli here with sandwiches/pastas and easy eats. They also have lots of cheese, wine, and cracker choices.

Atmosphere: I haven’t been to the wine tasting but I have family who went and thought it was enjoyable. I truly enjoy the outdoor seating with picnic tables under the trees. It is a beautiful and spacious area, however it does get crowded very easily as this place is incredible.

Price: Prices are normal for everything here because it’s Napa Valley prices but worth it for the vibes.

Parking: Parking can be tricky when it’s super busy but they have lots of parking to the side and back of the building. You don’t have to pay for parking.

As members we were able to have our taste comped in the tower! So fun! Very generous pours. Attentive and knowledgeable staff! It was raining so we took our yummy picnic food home! Beautiful grounds! Not to be missed!

I’ve had such a great experience wine tasting. Mike F was amazing, he listened to the type of wines I love, he made great recommendations. This was definitely a personalized experience and I can’t wait to come back! make sure you get there early (10am-10:30am), less people and you can find parking. It starts to get crowded around 11:30am and parking can be difficult.
