James Cole Winery

We have been a part of James Cole Wine Club ever since our visit in 2022. We absolutely loved our time there - so happy we saved it for last because we did not want to leave the beautiful property! The wines are excellent and the staff is amazing. We are so happy our hotel concierge recommended James Cole, it will always remain our favorite winery in Napa.

Fantastic wines. What I especially like is they are drinkable now or you can cellar for later. It's a beautiful property -- a tasting here is an experience you'll want to sit back and enjoy. Staff incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I've been a member for a long time and its worth every penny. And the wine events are incredibly fun too.

James Cole wines are a favorite at our table. We've been members here for years. The tasting experience is top-notch with pleasant, knowledgeable ambassadors for the winery. Being a member has such great perks too! Their Spring and Summer Release parties are festive and provide a chance to really enjoy the gardens. We're fans!

This winery was just what we needed . It has great ambience , the staff was super knowledgeable and personable, the wines were great ( one of the best I ever had ) . This is a must-go for you if you are looking for a small , family -owned , luxury curated experience for your group . I would say that it’s worth to go out your way to do a tasting here .

One business recommendation to owners : if viable , change the quantity from 4 to 5 wines where the 5 th maybe a surprise or repeat selection too . That way the offering seems to be at par with other wineries and people get a chance to visit your awesome setup .

We visited in 2012 and were very impressed by the quality of wines produced @Jame Cole. And recently opened their 2013 Cab. Truly amazing character. great fruit and fruit tannins.Long finish. With smoked pork and salad.We will continue to order bottles from them in the future. To add to out cellar...

James Cole is hands down a top winery. If you are ever in Napa and do not visit James Cole, you are missing out on not only their fantastic wines, and I mean FANTASTIC wines, but a true experience!

The customer experience and customer service has to be mentioned. They make you feel like family. They make you fell like they have known you forever! James Cole is an experience that goes way above and beyond their great wines.

The winery setting is beautiful, welcoming and comforting. From the time you drive in, to the greeting that you receive from EVERYONE here is phenomenal.

James Cole is my home away from home in Napa. They offer the best wine while literally making you feel like family. My husband and I have been club members for years and their wine parties are one of the highlights of our membership.

I have hosted many friends at James Cole from both the States and abroad and every single person raves about the incredible wine and staff. Special shout out to Dustin for making sure we have a stellar experience every time.

The wines and atmosphere at James Cole are fantastic. The tasting room is moody set against low lighting and candles. The fun playlist and video screen as a backdrop add a playful touch. We also came when they were offering perfectly paired chocolate with the tasting! Our host, Dustin, was great, sharing the history and science behind Napa’s wine with fun stories.

We have been wine club members since 2016 and have enjoyed every wine shipment. While other wineries have sought our membership, we have enjoyed James Cole wines and refuse to join any other. Although we live in Pennsylvania, every time we visit Napa, we come to James Cole for a tasting with friends and everyone is amazed.

Kyle did an amazing service and had a lot of useful information. We enjoyed a lovely picnic and tried some good wine. Our favorite was the '07 cab which we had to buy a bottle of. Maybe next time we become club members but clearly enjoyed our experience!

My husband and I visited the James Cole Winery in Sept and had a lovely time. One of the wine experts sat with us and discussed the history of the winery, the wine itself and details of the wine growing areas. This experience was topped off by the delightful wine tasting! We were warmly welcomed.

First time visitor to James Cole. The experience was really great. Our host Patrick was welcoming and helped us discover some really interesting wines. We did the Deep Cuts tasting which was really fun. The interior vibe is great. Less fussy than other tasting rooms but still luxe feeling. Pricing was very reasonable compared to other Napa wineries. Definitely will go again.

Amazing time spent here, very chill staff, a great venue and the wine is absolutely delicious. Have purchased multiple times in the year after we visited and will keep doing so.

Really recommend as a place to visit when doing Napa, and wine to buy when you're at home because for their prices it's a competitive space and they very much excel.

We were recently introduced to James Cole wines at Masimo restaurant in Walnut Creek Ca. We had an excellent bottle of Cabernet and decided to taste at the winery the first chance we got. We had an excellent experience and really enjoyed the wines across the portfolio and are now huge fans of James Cole. We highly recommend it to everyone we know.

We were originally scheduled to visit James Cole at the start of the pandemic. After cancelling, we decided we should at least sample some of their wines and placed our first order. I should stress "first", based on our enjoyment of those wines, it the start of many. We eventually got to visit in November of 2022 and were not disappointed. The friendly atmosphere and decor were complimented by what we knew would be amazing wines. James Cole if definitely on our list of wineries to visit on our next trip to Napa.

James Cole, what can I say, but perfection! From the moment you walk on to the property, you can feel the energy and excitement of the staff, as they make you feel welcome. The setting for experiencing your tasting is top notch! If it’s nice enough to sit outside, you will be surrounded by flowers and the warmth of a gentle breeze. Inside, they have ample room to fit whatever size party you have, and you won’t be disappointed by the wine selection either.

Now, we love reds and my wife can’t get enough of their CabFranc! However, if you like the lighter side of wine, they have an extremely strong selection, that will tickle your taste buds. We have been members for several years, and I can honestly say, we have never been disappointed!

My first visit to James Cole was in 2008. I still remember the wine that got me hooked on James Cole. It was the 2006 Petit Verdot.
Their wines are stellar! The tasting experience is outstanding. The staff are always friendly and engaging. As a longtime member of James Cole, I highly recommend visiting the winery and tasting their offerings. James Cole Winery is one of the true jewels of Napa Valley!

Very cool tasting room with interesting theming. Our host was extremely knowledgeable and provided an incredible experience. Wines were boutique but at a reasonable price point.
