Hampton Inn Monterey

Good experience. The elevator is very janky. The breakfast was good, wish they had more non-pork meat options but very happy with the red velvet waffles. And great parking.

Might be the nicest or 2nd nicest Hampton Inn I’ve stayed in. The staff was great, very helpful with our late check and the facilities are excellent. Everything was clean and functional and the little game room made for a great break for the kids when the rain moved in.

I visit the place once a week for they have charging stations for my Ford Fusion. I've found the staff very friendly when I have dealings with them. I may spend a night here in the future so I can give the Hampton Inn Monterey proper rating even though I live very close by.

This hotel might not be a 5 star, ,but it is the cleanest hotel I have stayed in by far! The bathroom was spotless..There was even a plastic thingy that traps hairs from going down the drain😁,Breakfast was pretty decent.I love waffles and the idea of making it myself makes me happy,and yes I made my own waffles😁at this hotel.We only stayed for one night but will definitely stay here again in the future.

Parking is not awesome. Other than that, it was a great stay.

Good location. Clean and spacious room. The heating system was a bit lacking, hard to get a good temperature to hold, almost like there was no insulation in the room. Lone elevator and no easy accessible stairs made it a bit inconvenient but not too much of a problem. Breakfast was good and there were a lot of choices. Friendly staff and a lot of seating. Would have been nice to have hot drinks at night, but after breakfast the coffee/tea bar is packed away.

We frequent the Seaside area fairly often and have stayed at a few of the local hotels, including Embassy Suites. This was our first stay at the Hampton Inn Monterey and it is now our favorite hotel in the area. The room appeared newly remodeled and extremely clean. The beds were average but comfortable and the pillows seemed new and were very comfortable. The size of room was impressive and the bathroom was nice. We were also impressed by the quietness, especially being that our room was right next to the elevator. We didn't hear a thing! We were a little disappointed that we booked at a hotel without a pool, but then the room exceeded our expectations and completely made up for it. The staff were all super friendly as well! We will definitely be staying here again!

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. It's not a luxury hotel by no means, but, its modern, clean, the rooms have been designed nicely with a bay window and a coffee bar area with cubbies as you walk in. Tall modern headboards for beds, desk area and seating area. The hotel is not large but is populated. We were on the 3rd floor and remarked how there was no noise coming from the hall or from other residents. Vincent checked us in and provided great customer service throughout our 3 day stay. They have a complimentary breakfast as well. All that at a great value. I highly recommend this Hampton Inn for a functional, pleasant stay.

Had a good stay. The hotel looks great after the renovation. The beds were comfortable and the room seemed very clean. It was also nice and quiet, and you would have never known it was next to a freeway. Good, quiet A/C. The location isn't located directly in the downtown area, but it is a short drive to this area. A good, comfortable hotel.

Nice hotel, clean rooms and comfy beds with good pillows and linens. Rooms are spacious too. Decent hot breakfast and pretty good coffee.

It’s kind of in a weird location but it does have the shoreline paved paths right behind it. A more affordable place than staying in central Monterey but still close to everything. Staff is nice.

The place was pleasant. Price was high for most Hamptons. But deluxe king bed was great. Crazy timing since we only were planning on staying in Monterey for one night but it felt like every place was fully booked. We couldn't even stay for 2 nights if we wanted to! But got lucky a 2nd room became available. Unfortunately it was one of those handicap rooms and I don't recommend them tbh, the bathrooms are spacious but no sink space. Didn't like getting water literally everywhere. Skip that if you can. But friendly experience overall

Pleasantly surprised by my stay here. I was here for a week for work, and had a great experience. The staff are all very nice and the facility is very clean. It was recently remodeled and very modern. Nice size rooms and bathrooms. Good breakfast in the mornings and plenty of parking. Central located and close to highway 1. My bed was even quite comfy! Oh and there’s a pretty decent gym too!!

Love staying at Hilton hotels, but this is a great hotel! The front desk man, Vincent, was just amazing!!! Not only was he professional and helpful, he was also just so kind to me! I was traveling for work and he was so kind and great at suggesting places to visit, go to, stay away from, etc. He was just the nicest guy and that for sure made my trip. Hotel was great, rooms clean, breakfast good, etc, but he truly made the trip just that much better! Can't wait to come back again soon! Thanks Vincent and Hilton! Always a pleasure!

The hotel accommodations were perfect for our family getaway. The suite was roomy, clean and had all we needed for us. The front desk employee Vincent was amazing and very friendly. We appreciated how kind and helpful he was. We wish there were more employees like him.

We spent the night here to celebrate our 10th anniversary, and we really enjoyed it. Modern decor in the rooms and common areas, a nice and clean fitness center, and a spacious and in inviting dining room. We also liked the atrium in the main lobby, as it brought in a lot of natural light. A great location between Monterey and Seaside too. And they gave us a welcome gift with a an anniversary card...nice, professional touch! We highly recommend this hotel.

Very courteous receptionist, generous with check in/out times when asked and they are able to accommodate. The rooms are fresh and modern, appearance and also smell like fresh linen. Very clean and welcoming. I actually slept well at night when most often I don't in a hotel; the beds and pillows were comfortable. I'll definitely look to book this again when I return to Monterey.

We chose this hotel specifically because it had four EV charging stations. When we arrived, two were badly damaged and not working, and one was in the handicapped parking space, which means there was really only one charger available. Fortunately, we were able to use that single charger and everything worked out great for us. Everything else about this hotel was wonderful and we would certainly return in the future.

We stayed overnight to attend homeschool days at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. I thought the location of the hotel was great as it was a short drive, walking distance, to the beach, In-N-Out across the street, and beautiful view of the bay. The customer service was great and rooms were clean. Free breakfast was pretty tasty and the staff was diligent in making sure items were always stocked. The parking was a bit compact, but the lot wasn't super crowded. Overall it was a great stay and we look forward to booking this hotel again in the future.

Newly remodeled, the Hampton Inn at Monterey is a nice establishment. Everything was super clean and well-maintained. The lobby and breakfast area was also nice and inviting. Staff was super friendly, particularly the front desk employees. They were able to help with any questions or concerns along with providing any recommendations. Location was nice and not in a busy or dangerous area whatsoever. Several restaurants are close by, which was nice.
