We had a great time at Stag's Leap, where we attended the celestial wine and food pairing. Despite being longtime members, we had never before taken the cave tour, which turned out to be a great experience guided by the knowledgeable and personable sommelier, Justin. While the food didn't quite satisfy our palates, the wines, particularly the Fay and Cask 23, were exceptional. Stag's Leap continues to impress us, and we eagerly look forward to future visits as dedicated members.

This is a required stop when in Napa Valley. The reds are amazing. This was our second visit, and it did not disappoint. We did the celestial tour and tasting this time, and the food paired exquisitely with the wines. Their S.L.V. and Cask 23 are our favorite.

We had an amazing time with Terri! She was informative and her sense of humor made our day. My husband and I came from North Carolina and were able to experience an amazing tasting with great wine and a nice charcuterie board. We also met another person who was leading tours, Josiah (?). He was so funny and full of personality. Everyone at this winery made our experience so good and we highly recommend going here for an great and beautiful experience.

We visited in late April 2023 and the service was amazing and the wine was excellent. My wife and I enjoyed their Estate Collection Tasting Flight with Justin and everything was absolutely wonderful. We highly recommend this tasting experience if you’re traveling to Napa!

A very enjoyable wine tasting. We were able to try 5-6 wines. Great indoor experience looking right at the mountains. The way they created the indoor space makes you feel like you’re outside and an arms length from the vines. Mo was great!

Stag's Leap is a beautiful winery, rich with history. We loved everything about the cave tour and tasting. Our guide and his wine selections were extraordinary. This was our first tour in Napa, and definitely will not be our last.

We came for a wine tasting and loved it. We were a group of 7 but had to be seated as 4 and 3, which turned out completely fine. The room is intimate (and gorgeous) and we could still go over and talk to each other after the tastings were finished. Our host at the table of 4 was genuinely one of the best guides/hosts/waiters/whatever I've had maybe ever- he cared, he knew his stuff, and he made sure we had fun. The wine was delicious, if a little pricey. Definitely recommend.

This is a legendary winery with 50 years of tradition in high-end winemaking. We enjoyed our tasting, our tasting guide was very knowledgeable, let us try pretty much everything they make, and really helped us feel the connection between the terroir and the wine in the glass, as both were right in our eyeline. This was our very favorite tasting experience in Napa.

Stag's Leap was absolutely amazing and is know for putting CA red wines on the map by winning a blind taste test with their 1973 Cabernet. Our wine educator was Victor Rodriguez and he was extremely knowledgeable of the history of Stag's Leap their winery and the Stags Leap region. It was such an amazing Vinyard that we became members of the family and are looking forward to this being an annual tradition.

July 2021 five is us hit Napa Valley, I had been here back in the 1990’s, place had changed quite a bit!
Wine Tasting was excellent and the Winery is beautiful, there is another winery with almost same name next door, just fyi !

I would highly recommend make this a stop, reserve ahead of time because this place is busy! Silverado Trail is not as busy as Napa Road!

Fay Cabernet Sauvignon 🥰

Take note that wine cellar is the one you should be visiting. Depending on what you like, it's fay vs. slv. For us, we prefer fay because it's a little spicier Pinot noir. I should say the pour for tasting is a little lesser than I expected but otherwise it's pretty good to enjoy your wine while staring at the field patch where the stag took the leap

This was my favorite vineyard in Napa. The vibe, views and customer service were spectacular. Make sure to reserve before visiting. We didn’t have a reservation, but they still accommodated us (2 people) as they weren’t that busy and we bought a bottle of one of their most expensive wines. Some states they can’t ship to.

We came up to Stag’s Leap for a wine tasting a few weeks ago and had the most incredible experience. The wine itself was some of the best we’ve ever had and they seated us at a table with a beautiful view of the vineyard. The experience got even better thanks to our wine educator Victor. He was so engaging and we learned so much. We can’t wait to come back and visit.

We had a great host and the porch tasting on a beautiful day was amazing. We had the estate tasting with a chardonnay and 3 different cabernets. We ended up buying the chardonnay and the extra pour of heart of fay that ended up being our favorite. Beautiful grounds, building and friendly staff.

Absolutely a must stop winery. Their wines are not inexpensive but there is a reason for that, they are superb. This was a spur of the moment quick stop for a gift, Madi assisted us and was just terrific. Super knowledgable and genuinely gracious. Answered all my questions and recommended two superb bottles of wine I would have likely overlooked. I ended up buying those wines based purely on her recommendation (and a bit of tasting)! This is a must stop with a reservation next time we’re in Napa.

Excelent wine tasting (Celestial tour), Jo-Jo was the best host! The food pairing by chef Travis was incredible. Best experience in Napa and Sonoma vineyards although on the pricey side… but hey, you get to taste $330 bottles and depending on your host, the tasting gets extended another hour… we got super lucky!!!
