So if you don't want to spend a paycheck at a Hotel in Monterey come here!!! The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. They always had coffee and hot chocolate readily available. We went in the winter so our trip was not crowded at all. The view from the rooftop is amazing and they have patio furniture up there as well to chill at night. Very clean and friendly and CHEAP place to stay. We will be back!!

I truely enjoyed this hotel, plus my son got us a great deal for the size of the room. Indoor gym which my wife took advantage of, as me & the kids were in the indoor pool 😁 Fresh coffee & hot cocoa was great since it was cold, the breakfast was good!!! Had a great time with the family. Can't wait to do it again!!!

Super family friendly hotel!
- Accommodating: S/O to the front desk staff who greeted our family so warmly and helped us check-in early with our baby! Our flight landed way before we were expecting so I called the hotel (with very little expectations that my request for an early check-in would be accommodated) but Tiffany was very pleasant to speak w/ on the phone and said it was not a problem at all.
- Great location: Was able to pick up essentials (diapers, snacks) at the Target by the hotel. Just 15 minutes to downtown Monterey.
- Clean, spacious room with a fridge!

Would definitely recommend this hotel for people wanting to visit the Monterey area w/o breaking the bank at downtown Monterey hotels.

Beautiful beautiful hotel. Very clean, modern look with a high class feel. It's close to shopping centers, the movie theater, the Montage Medical Center (in case you get hurt doing "flips" on the bed), and only a few minute drive to the beach. The staff is very friendly and I love Happy Hour at the bar and their "grill" (food service during that time). The Lounge area is very welcoming and the outside patio is awesome. They do need some type of heating at the roof's lounge area (though I understand why they don't), but the view is beautiful. I am a little disappointed in their pool as it is quite small (looks more like a spa or a supersized hot tub). Rooms are like any normal room (cozy, but not as spacious as you would think), but very clean and modern. Love the decor throughout. I did not get to try their breakfast, so I won't rate that, but overall I loved it.

This is a new property and we found the rooms to be nice and big and very comfortable. The free breakfast is good enough but not great. There is a pool and a gym on site which is great. Walking distance to many restaurants, a movie theater, Target, REI, etc. great location for seeing Monterey and reasonably priced.

I have an ocean view, that is beautiful .The staff is great remember me from last week .the bar has happy hour with good food great place to check out

Construction of another hotel literally sharing the parking lot is not optimal, but don't let it change your mind about this hotel, or you will miss out and a fantastic experience. It is beautiful, clean and modern. Firepits on the patio and a roof deck are highlights you need to see.

An absolutely wonderful recent 4-night stay. Every member of the staff was welcoming and helpful. The entire hotel was extremely clean and well maintained. Nice free breakfast selection. Very convenient location to area attractions. Safe environment. Minor thing, the gym was great but they need to have some rubber mats for stretching, etc. Lastly, there is some new construction going on behind the hotel that generated noise most mornings beginning around 7AM, so if possible you should ask for a room on the ocean facing side of the hotel.

Very clean rooms that are modern but comfortable. Comfortable beds, decent walk in shower and closet. Will be staying there any time I'm in town. Also has a badass roof access that you can see the whole bay from, as well as fire pits on the back patio with outdoor couches that are pretty comfortable.

Located right off of the PCH, Hwy 1, in Marina. This hotel is beautifully crafted for the vacationer, business traveler or anyone wanting a great stay. Start with the free hot breakfast where hot fresh coffee, hot food(eggs, potatoes and sausage) and pastries, just to name a few are highlights. The room is modern, well laid out with plenty of ample closet space and a work desk for that business traveler. Across the street...plenty of shopping and restaurants so no need to travel far. A rarity at these properties...a bar. Yes, that's right. Ignacio, our bar tender that evening served us up a happy hour menu of drink and bar food items that after a long day was welcomed. Lastly, the awesome courteous service from everyone from the bar tending, to the front desk and the housekeepers...I really enjoyed my stay here. This hotel is literally minutes away from Monterey where attractions such as Cannery Row, the Monterey Bay Aquarium are a must when you are in this area. Check out this latest addition to the family of Marriott properties next time you seek a stay in the gorgeous Monterey Bay area.

Our family loves this hotel! The staff is friendly and helpful, breakfast is great, room is roomy, clean and comfortable. We have stayed her twice while visiting family in the area. We will definitely stay again in the future. Really appreciate the stores and restaurants close by and it is just a hop, skip and a jump to the ocean.

We very much enjoyed our two-night stay at the Springhill Suites. We appreciated the helpfulness of the professional staff whenever we had a question. We liked the queen bed room layout, living room area, a large TV and a spacious closet. We very much appreciated the microwave, mini-fridge, internet TV and sofa bed. It seems new and was very clean. We had a great ocean views and there were gorgeous sunsets each night. Next time, we'll go check out the rooftop area to see the sunset from there. The food was delicious, too. It's situated in a great location that is convenient to visit so many restaurants and attractions. We highly recommend a visit to SpringHill Suites in Marina.

Beautiful hotel! Well maintained and clean with friendly and helpful staff. Our room was very comfortable and good sized. Furniture was comfy including the king bed. Lovely views of the ocean from our room, and it was walking distance to shopping and several restaurants. Free breakfast was quite tasty and included cold and hot items such as scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, danish rolls, etc. Our stay was very enjoyable!

Wife and I stayed here last Fall. It's really new. So very clean, excellent staff, not a bad breakfast for still living the covid "thing".
Has a nice view when it wasn't cloudy and foggy. Large shopping mall area across the road. There was a movie theater, several restaurants and a Starbucks. All very new as well. There's construction a few blocks away in the old Fort Ord military base. Looks to be very impressive living area in the next year+ or so. There's a beach access/park that you should definitely go to the beach. Amazing views! Be sure to lock your vehicle and maybe don't bring or leave any in the vehicle. It's not patrolled very much, signs warning you as well.
We highly recommend staying here and will again next time we are in the area

The room felt new and clean and was the first hotel we've stayed at that had soap dispensers in the shower rather than the tiny bottles (which we like for the environmental friendliness). The room was a little thin but the length accommodated the extra sleeper sofa/desk seating area and helped keep things feeling sufficiently roomy and cozy. Only caveat is this means the TV is in an awkward placement in the center between the beds and seating area. It is on a rotating mount but this means only the people in the bed or on the couch can have a clear view, not both.

Other thing to note was that it was clearly a newer hotel design in that there is less sound insulation between floors so if you have dinosaurs on the floor above you, you'll definitely know. And vice versa.

The breakfast was very enjoyable. Unlike other hotels we've stayed at where they had maybe one or two staff rushing around restocking, Springhill had a whole team on hand maintaining a constant flow and keeping everything stocked up right until the end. It means you can get a reliable meal to eat whether it's the beginning or end of the breakfast time. The gentleman manning the waffle station was especially fun and helps start the day off with an upbeat tone.

The front desk staff was equally polite, fun, and courteous.

In terms of convenience and location, having the 4 Chargepoint J1772 chargers in the lot was very convenient (when not blocked by other hotel goers). The hotels location right across from a shopping plaza made for extra convenience for grabbing a bite to eat or supplies. Lastly, its close location for Hwy 1 was also great for getting out and about to the local area without being directly in the trafficy/touristy spots.

I am a little concerned about what parking will be like when the hotel that's under construction right next door opens but otherwise would definitely consider returning again.

Loved the place and view. Got free upgrade as I am a gold member. Roof view was amazing and there is a fire place in front of the hotel. Also walking distance to quite a bit of a shopping area. Enjoy

The rooms were great. The rooms did not have water bottles and had to go to the reception to get them every day. They also denied us drinking water bottles on our last day of stay eventhough we were Marriott bonvoy titanium elite members.
The complimentary breakfast was not that great.
