Every time I get a haircut from Jun— I leave her shop looking amazing, and feeling like a million bucks. I’ve been going to this barbershop for almost decade, and Jun has consistently done an exceptional job every single time. Jun is also the owner of the shop, and she is one of the sweetest Korean ladies I’ve met— she’s very personable and cuts your hair exactly the way you want. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a new barbershop, or even just curious about this place to give Jun a shot— I promise you won’t be disappointed. With the great service from Jun, and the very reasonable prices she has for her cuts— this place has everything you want in a barbershop.

I feel like she did a pretty bang up job all things considered. Pretty good high skin fade. She killed it with the facial hair as well. Most likely will be going back to Helen's soon

Just got my first haircut here and the beard trim and shave and i have to say its by far the best pricing a person will find and the service is first class above the rate I paid. They took the time to understand what i wanted and do it. This is definately my new barber.

I am picky when it comes to my flat top. Infact it has been a long time that a barbers flat top lasted more than a day. I usually have to shave it off when I get home. Its probably been close to two years since I had a good cut. I had to go to Kent to get it. I wont name the failures because thats not what I do, but they all lied and said they could do a flat top. Some even advertise. Helen didnt lie, I am still wearing it.
In fact on wednesday I am going back for a shave and clean up. Awesome barber

I have been coming here for years. Young is kind has ton of patience with the little kids and does a great job quickly. Price is consistent with quality her cuts match one that charge in 100's. Here you could get a family of five done for that price. Only person who cuts my family's hair

I have been getting Haircuts from Helen for almost two years. She knows me BY NAME, knows exactly what kinda of cut I would like, and nails it everytime. I always look forward to getting my haircut here not only for good customer service but also always nice to catch up and enjoy conversation with her!

Helen is a wonderful worker and is very skilled at making you look your best 10/10 will recommend to anyone who has had trouble finding barbershops and needs some 10/10 haircuts and very professional precise styling

She does awesome work, and very fast. She is the only person to have ever been able to successfully do a good looking fade on my hair-- I usually avoid getting fades at other barbers, but she's awesome!

I would say she's easily the best in Tacoma.

I came in today and was immediately seen. Service was incredible and the woman who cut my hair was a true master barber! She was friendly and highly affective. As a woman I find it hard to find barbers who know how to cut women's hair with out making them look too masculine. She lined me up to perfection and even cut the design I wanted perfectly. Not only was my cut awesome is was cost effective too, I will definitely be back.

She was nice, skilled , quick and was able to give me the exact haircut I wanted just by describing it. The hot shaving cream and straight razor was nice to. My only complaint which is a little thing, she's a few dollars more than my normal Barber at(10$) but still a good price and for a professional cut.

Pleasant surprise. Unbeatable quality/price ratio. While it is not your typical fancy saloon, their haircuts are legit and of higher quality than the average "clips" for the same price or less. The only thing I missed was a shampoo

My first time coming here.
I watch Young Martindale cut and trim the customer in front of me. She did a wonderful job.

The atmosphere is warm & friendly.
She uses warm towels and does a great job cutting, trimming and line up’s.

My line up was done with a straight razor which she used warm shaving cream. She did a detail job on my haircut and around beard.

She also used vacuum to remove hair from body and head.

The attention that I received here with her being a barber was phenomenal being in the military for 35 years I was taught to pay attention to details.

I will be coming back.

You HAVE to go see this wonderful lady for a haircut. She is a real professional that takes great pride in her craft. She treats people well and does it right. I really appreciate her for such great service and customer service. I only regret that I dont live in that area. I think she even made me better looking! Before, and after:

Super individual attention, perfect cut every time. Feels like home and what I'm used to. I've been going to big named stylist salons until I found Helen's. I'm super impressed and it doesn't kill my budget.

I gave this a five star because the workers greet and treat you right when you walk in and they respect all of there customers. In my opinion they cut hair perfectly on point. You give them the hairstyle you want and they will do perfectly well, an't that amazing? Now I perfer that you go to this Barber Shop so you can walk out of there looking good and beautiful😊

Helens is open and ready for your business. I recently went so I could fix my COVID cut. And I feel and look much better. The staff was very helpful and the business is very clean, so no worries.

My older brother brought me here today after highly recommending them , the ladies were very nice and did an amazing job cutting my hair , I asked for a fade and got exactly that , the attention to detail and skill was amazing , they were super friendly and nice. I will definitely be comming back

Young is terrific! I've tried a bunch of barbers in the area lately, and a lot of places take way too long and/or have crazy loud music. Young is fast, gives very good cuts, and is even a little cheaper than the others.

Super nice lady that runs it and always nice to chat with. Her prices are super reasonable and when she opens back up let's make sure she does well and don't forget to tip if you like your haircut
