My wife and I got married here in September and it was perfect. The venue worked with us to meet all of our needs and the evening exceeded expectations. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a wedding venue with flexibility to make the event their own!

A serene, ambient hidden gem amidst the bike path of cannery row, just behind the aquarium. They have excellent coffee, just about any tea you crave and they have a heated bench... A Heated Bench! Perfect for the typical Monterey weather patterns... and did I mention it's ambience? Dude...

Rhett is amazing always there to help his community and when renting out his space for vfx events definitely there to please. The studio is terrific for audio production including the space

beautiful space for events nestled in downtown Monterey near cannery row. there are two indoor areas, an outdoor area, and a live editing room for streaming events. The wood floor is even sprung for the dancers out there!

Rhett and Judy were beyond exceptional to work with for our wedding this past June. My wife visited multiple times to plan out and visualize the space and each time they were welcoming and accommodating. The space is unique with a wonderful layout that has both a sheltered cozy feel while being mostly outdoors and open (a big variable when planning a wedding in times of COVID). We also appreciated their commitment to minimizing waste and being environmentally conscious. Also, the flexibility to extend hours of the event made our wedding so much more relaxed rather than moving through quick transitions. Our guests noted that they never felt rushed. Honestly could not thank Rhett and Judy enough. If you want to get married in Monterey where your guests could stay walking distance to the venue plus the draw of Cannery row it is hard to image a better spot. Thank you Rhett and Judy

My son and daughter-in-law chose Wave Street Studios for their wedding reception. Rhett and his wife were extremely helpful in the pre-planning, rehearsal, and the day of the event. It was a beautiful location and we were able to have family who were not able to make it attend via Zoom. All in all, it was a lovely evening at a lovely location.

My son has a party last night for the school and he had a great time!!!

Wave Street Studios was host to my reception. It's an amazing space. By day it serves as a television studio and by night a fabulous event venue. The space was designed and built by owner Rhett Smith and is made almost entirely of recycled materials from the surrounding areas. It has far too many great features to list, and the website photos don't do it justice. The staff is super helpful and really care about making sure you have a really great party. If you are looking for a unique venue that your guests will talk about for years, go check see this one in person. LOVED IT!

AMAZING! Truly a beautiful venue in a great location with the BEST customer service. The team who arranges the reservations is kind, patient and made the search so much easier as I looked for a venue for my fathers memorial service. Although the parking is a bit tough, everything else was phenomenal and I was lucky to find this location!!

Went to my friend's wedding here! Beautiful venue. It was fairly easy to get to and I really liked the warming benches outside.

Just went to a fundraiser there. INCREDIBLE! We had so much fun! Everything was really top notch. Venue was perfect, staff was awesome. I look forward to the next event there.

I will always be grateful such a beautiful place is placed so snug like two Mittens on a KItten. I love to take my night walks in the area. I park at the top by the Wave Street Studios® sign and meditate in the corner by the Heated benches. Zen!

Super super friendly every single time I come in here. Even when they don't have EXACTLY what you're looking for, they will set you up with something similar. Tons of teas and different coffee blends to choose from and a delicious salad bar.

Its an unconventional offering and its a great idea, I really appreciate the palette and canvas Wave Street offers. Rhett Smith's vision and commitment to this venue - an open minded, inclusive, creative sandbox on the Monterey Bay, is worth a look. Located nearby the Aquarium on Cannery Row, its a favorite "black box" for thinking out of the box.

My experience at Wave Street Studios couldn't have been easier. I needed a short video and the owner/engineer Rhett did a terrific job. Chargée dáffaires Annabelle similarly efficient and friendly. Decent rates. Highly recommended.

When you want a coffee break that is about more than the coffee, sit on the heated benches on a winter day and watch the koi in the pond and come away with something Starbucks doesn’t have to offer. Step off the bike path and out of the hustle and bustle for a moment, it could easily become a habit.

Superlative Live Music Experience w/Top Shelf Mus.icians...Saw the entire Shoobies set and they Rocked it...plus some sets are hosted on YouTube... great for checking local music scene...Wave Street is really putting together a great modus operandus for Platinum Club Venue
