Days Inn by Wyndham Monterey Downtown

Everytime we go to Monterey we always stay here. The front desk is very friendly. We had no problems getting a room for the night. It's ALWAYS clean, has very Hot water, the tv is small, but otherwise than that I'd tell anyone who was going to Monterey to stay at this hotel.

Perfect location in downtown Monterey. The Staff at the front desk was extremely helpful, kind and positive; always with a smile on their faces.
JUst for this reason I would like to come back, but as a whole it was a great stay experience.

Great Service! Reasonable price. Close to downtown. The rooms were very big and clean. Staffs were very helpful, especially the manager made sure that we had a comfortable stay.

This hotel has what are honestly the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever experience. Clean and comfortable. Nice staff.

The hotel was quiet until one really noisy person arrived at 3.30 on the second morning.
The rooms are a good size , the beds are clean and comfortable . The location to downtown is also helpful . There is a great cafe close by , as well as a Denny’s restaurant . The hotel offers free coffee , tea and juice .

Check-in staff was very welcoming in-person (my bf said someone was a little short over the phone when we asked for early check-in) and attentive when I brought a small issue to them. They fixed it right away and didn't leave any mess behind. Check-out was on a major holiday so the office was closed, but I wasn't notified that they would be or that they wouldn't have continental breakfast open, which is why I booked with them. We were driving back to San Jose for a flight and wanted something fast and quick to eat in the morning. Overall, it was a fine stay for a quick trip and I would rebook. The rooms are updated, spacious and comfortable. The beds are a little loud and squeaky but new. We stayed on the 2nd floor, with the bathroom window facing a building wall, we didn't notice any noise from our neighbors or exterior. The hotel is in a nice neighborhood and nearby to some good restaurants and attractions.

We are driving down the coast for a week with our 2 young children. Booked this place for the price and location. Don’t let the outside fool you, rooms have been remodeled. The double queen is very spacious and it’s clean. We are at the top on an end unit and it’s nice and quiet but the door frame does seem too big for the door so there is a gap… didn’t bother us though. Pleasantly surprised with this budget stay.

Amazing service and great hospitality. Rooms are very big, recently remodeled, and very clean. Hotel is close to beach and very convenient to go for sunrise.

Room was huge! We were in the auxiliary building. Clean and housekeeping came every day without our request.

Good budget hotel option if you don't want to spend too much money but still want to be close to downtown Monterey and the pier. It was updated and clean.

During our recent trip at the Pacific Coast, the Days Inn offered the cleanest rooms in this price range. We felt comfortable and got good sleep / recover. Furthermore, several nice evening locations and the Pier is in walking distance (check out Alvarado Street Brewery!). Definitely recommend for staying over night in Monterey.

I’ve stayed here several times when I visit Monterey. For the price I pay(typically 50-70$ A night) this days inn is wonderful. The rooms are always clean and the beds comfortable. I have had great experiences with the staff, everyone is always friendly and helpful. The location is the best part. The hotel is less than a 20 minute walk to downtown Monterey. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to spend less than $100 a night on a hotel

The check in was quick and easy. We were able to check in early because the room was ready. The room was very clean. Comfortable bed. Quiet area. Close to Fisherman's Wharf. Plenty of local eateries within walking distance. Friendly and helpful staff. Continental breakfast was good. KC worked the front desk was very helpful and welcoming. I was not disappointed. Will be back again.

Had to be out of my home temporarily and had a wonderful stay at Day's Inn on Abrego in Monterey. Clean, quiet, spacious, comfortable bed, plenty of lighting, ultra accommodating and priced really well. Would recommend to anyone.

Days Inn Monterey Downtown was a fine motel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is clean and comfortable. The main parking lot is a little small but the overflow lot is adjacent and well lit. They have a nice breakfast selection before leaving in the morning. The price is very reasonable for the area. The next time I am in Monterey, I will stay with Days Inn!

We are .5 mile from coastal access. Dennys around the corner. Free upgrade to a room with a view of the ocean. The room is enormous with a fridge, microwave, TV, ironing board. This hotel is under rated. Thank you for making our stay comfortable.

Comfortable motel for our few nights in the area. Breakfast and parking included which was great, room clean and tidy. Only annoyance was that we accidentally left our son's blanket in our room on departure and they wouldn't send it to us due to policy. Being on holidays, we didn't have time to drive back to collect it. Definitely wasn't their fault though!!!!
