Terrific experience! Highly recommend this bookstore, to call it a bookstore is an underrating for sure. If you go in, and truly receive what is there to be offered to you, you will be amazed. enjoyed the singing bowls while I was there. Leslie played them for me, and I played them as well. I walked away with a wonderful book on fermenting, a beautiful little ring as a keepsake for my visit to Monterey and an experience that I cannot begin to put into words. A truly emotionally healing moment as I met two random shoppers while in there with Leslie. I will definitely be going back every time I am in Monterey😁!

Adorable little shop we found on a mid-day stroll around the area. The store is FILLED with wonderful displays of many different paths of beliefs in life, no overwhelming displays of any specific path (two neat images included). The lady at the counter was a wonderful joy to chat with and we shared a hilarious card reading.

Came here for the first time to grab a gift for my wife who adores this store and now i know why. Thank you for all the help and my wife loved the singing bowl!! 10/10 highly recommend if you're looking for a unique gift and enjoy amazing customer service.

We always love visiting the super cute bookstore when we’re in town! My wife and I stopped by and I couldn’t think of the name of the book and the owner went to such great links to track it down for me! She was such a lovely lady and we ended up spending 30 minutes just chatting with her. By the way, the book was called the impersonal life.

Absolutely the most exquisite metaphysical shop on the peninsula! The vibe is warm and welcoming, and it's stocked to the rafters with all the bit and bobs you might require. Just ask Leslie for anything and she'll do her very best to accommodate you! It's a can't miss.

If you are in the area take time to peek inside. Beware, you'll spend at least and hour if you are into books, cards, calendars, stones, crystals, spirituality, candles, jewelry, journals, and so much more. Always have cute window displays, soft music playing in the store while browsing that allows you to relax, and something for everybody in the store. I enjoy going here and engaging with the staff, amazing people selling amazing things. Go see for yourself.

Delightful shop with a really great selection of spiritual/metaphysical books and supplies. I saw fantastic books there that I don't see at ANY other stores-- always a good indicator! Buy your books here instead of giving a billionaire your money...indie bookstores: use 'em or lose 'em!

My favorite shopping experience during our trip to the coast was at this store! My family really enjoyed it too! They were so nice and helpful. I was really happy with all the different items in this store. I bought a beautiful book some great smelling sage, an equally great bottle of lavender spray, a tiny music box (the shop owner told me she had just ordered even more!) a ring, a few gemstones and crystals, and a journal.

Nice selection of Tibetan singing bowls too! Lovely to play them in the store.
100% chance I'm visiting Luminata Books and Gifts again the next time we're in town!

This has been one of my favorite stores to visit for crystals, books, and other items. Leslie and her group were so friendly and helpful; not to mention the great vibe you get as soon as you walk in. Definitely will be visiting Luminata again. Highly recommend.

A delightful little shop for a wide variety of things for those who seek answers to life's mysteries, Books, crystals, pendulums, and lots more are beautifully displayed. Staff are friendly and helpful. Parking can be challenging but totally worth it.

We happened upon this shop while walking around and had a great pull to go inside. I appreciated the variety of crystals, gifts, books and other resources for meditation and spiritual study. It has an amazing energy inside and the gal at the register was friendly and insightful. We will definitely visit again next time we are in the area.

They have a great selection of books, incense, and candles there, as well.

Staff is ALWAYS Very Friendly & Helpful!! This is one of my FAVORITE stores in the world 💯 I could literally spend all Day in here because there's a huge variety of everything. Tarot cards, Crystals, oils, books, Jewelry etc. Definitely Recommend this place to Everyone I know & any tourists!! 😊

As you enter the store you are greeted by a calm, welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. My daughter found an adorable little princess dress that she now particaly lives in. I found the perfect birthday card for my sister along with a beautiful hand carved jewelry box with giraffes on it. Even my 16 month old son found something he really liked there, a gold color stuffed dragon.

Such a cute little place! I was visiting the area for a few days with my boyfriend and his mom and I told them that I really wanted to buy some Tarot cards so we stopped by here! I got an awesome Tarot deck, bought my mom a coloringbook, found myself a numerology book as well as a book about synchronicity and of course...I had to get some incense 😜 It was so difficult to leave! I just wanted to keep looking at everything they had! Lol

What a fantastic place. A full bookstore for your spirituality and health needs and plenty of interesting gifts as well like jewelry, crystals, cards and art. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. One of the last independent spiritual bookshops in the nation. And they can get any title for you in one day's time. Fantastic place.

Visiting a friend and was drawn to come into this shop. It was such a warm.and inviting place. As soon as I walked in I knew I would be in there awhile. And I was for over an hour, which did not feel like it at all. If you are in the area I highly recommend stopping in and making your own interpretation.

They have plenty of books and mineral rocks however limited on ritual artifacts, such as Olive oil, cinnamon powder, basil leaves Etc the staff is very friendly
