Oh my goodness, we had the ribs and they were delicious. Also the baked beans were the best I've ever had.
Our waitress was friendly and took very good care of us.
If you want a great lunch or dinner, you have to give them a try, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

We had the most wonderful server. Her name was Stephenie. She even took the time to have my kids served 1st so they wouldn’t get too fussy due to being hungry. Also my kids don’t take to everyone with ease, but my kids loved her. She was patience and sweet to them. Not everyone understands how difficult it is to try and have dinner with 3 children all under 5, but she took great care of us all. I will definitely go back and I hope I get her again.
The food was delicious also. I loved the burnt ends, My Husband loved the Catfish. We’ll be back real soon.

I hadn't been to a Famous Dave's in a few years, and just sorta stumbled upon this one for lunch. I loved it. The BBQ was delicious, the corn sweet, the corn muffin fresh, I cleaned my plate. The place wasn't crowded on a Wednesday for lunch, service was what one would expect, and I'll definitely be back. Thank you.

Everything was perfect! The food ( brisket & wing tips) was delicious, the cocktail ( coconut mojito) was yummy, and my server Lilly was by far the best a person could ask for!!

If you like Bar-B-Que, this be the spot for it. The rub was great and the choices of sauce and heat levels was perfect. For a fresh crew manning the floor, they were spot on. My server was great, polite and on time when service was needed. Thanks Steph for an enjoyable experience.

Also the food was perfect, and not over or under cooked. I love me some juicy ribs.

This was our second trip, 1st trip included some really juicy & tasty chicken! The food smelled good, looked great and tasted even better! I find myself craving their cornbread muffins daily. They were helpful over the phone and on our visit during the first trip. I definitely recommend this location. I can’t even complain about the price, it’s worth it! Their fries are actually the best I’ve had since being in Washington, guess they aren’t famous for nothing!

Absolutely tender! The food was amazing. I'm not a big corn bread or mac and cheese person, but they were delicious! The corn bread was sweet, the mac and cheese was creamy and gooey. The appetizers were just about a full meal. The ribs, the chicken, everything was tender, I wouldn't had been surprised if the celery stick was tender too! Service was great, friendly and fast!!!

There is so much i wanna try on their menu and my next wil be the ribs. Our server welcomed us first timers and introduced us to their new menu. She was sweet I like her accent It was cute. The inside of the restaurant was pretty cool. It smelled really good and very clean. We got there around 5pm and they weren't busy but in time people started comin. I ordered Barbecue chicken, pulled pork that sits on a piece of toast, corn bread and you choose 2 sides. I got the garlic mash and sweet corn along with a margarita of course. The chicken is fall off the bone juicy. You gotta put some butter on the corn bread and oh it tastes even more better. They have 3 bottles of barbecue sauce on the table from spicy to sassy sweet. Tried sassy sweet and wow it worked good with food. I wanna thank my server I forget her name but thank you for checking on us and refilling our water.

wow.. when I first walked in to the moment I walked out, I was well taken care of. the burnt tips on the appetizer menu would make any Texan proud!

Amazing service - Stephenie was acceptional, from greeting us, serving us, timely checkups to just down to earth hospitality and service.. I would go back just to see her!

Arrived about 15 min before closing (sorry guys, but that seems to always be the case with us; we’re just late dinner eaters). Kelsey happily assisted us with a To-Go order for 5, she was super helpful. We got brisket, ribs, chicken, corn bread, Mac-n-cheese, green beans, and collard greens! Staff was super pleasant, Mgr stopped by to make sure we were all taken care of. It all looked great and was super yummy too!!!

We had our south sound sea hawkers meeting at this location, they were beet prepared to accommodate our large group meeting. Servers Terra & Chris Y were awesome and welcoming! Fast service and great smiles !! Thank you for having us!!

Service very good. Food was good except for burnt ends, they were tough and hard to chew, otherwise everything was great..UPDATE JULY 26TH I tried their build your own burger, it was delicious. My husband had their fried chicken with potato salad and collard, he loved it all. Our server, Lashawn was excellent, will ask for her again. UPDATE JAN 7TH 2023 they have a new menu, check it out. We had enough food to take home for another meal. UPDATE AUGUST 31ST 2023 My husband had the fried chicken, best in town, I had the country roasted chicken, so delicious. Lashawn oud server is the greatest.

I've noticed the portions has gotten smaller. And the price is a little high. The quality of the food is still excellent 👌

Had an incredible dinner tonight with the Feast for 2. My husband and I got chicken, ribs, pulled pork, brisket, mac and cheese, 2 cornbread muffins, and coleslaw...it was amazing! We used to come a long time ago, but were kind of disappointed by the food...so glad we gave it another chance!! (Pic of our leftovers so you can see how good it was!)
Chris C was our bartender and waiter - highly recommend! He made awesome drinks and was attentive without overdoing it. Thanks for such a great date night!

Kirsten was very gracious and kind; she brought the food out specifically the way my husband wanted his order. She checked on us periodically to make sure everything was okay. She was easy to talk with. We always love Famous Dave's! The Cedar Plank Salmon is my favorite. Thank you, Kirsten!

We had a party of 8. Thursdays are good days to eat here. The weekends are crazy. The bathrooms were very clean today. Well drinks are ok. Love the ribs and brisket in the feast and took corn bread home of course. Very good for large groups on weekdays.

Miss Gracie helped me out with my order and did an amazing job. Very friendly and knows how to put a smile on a customers face. Happy New Years!

Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que in Tacoma is a true gem! We recently tried their "Feast For 2," and it exceeded our expectations. The selection and flavors were out of this world, and it was more than enough to satisfy our BBQ cravings.

What truly stood out, though, were the servers. They were incredibly helpful and friendly, making our dining experience memorable. Their recommendations and attention to detail made us feel right at home.

From the delectable barbecue to the outstanding service, we couldn't have asked for a better dining experience. Famous Dave's has truly set the bar high. We'll be back for more delicious BBQ and warm hospitality!

GREAT ! always good as usual wish had closer location for me! Port Orchard-Gig Harbor location ,would visit more if you did so ,losing business for me for others also living north of Tacoma or in Kitsap County, after closed Silverdale location back in 2017.,need a location somewhere north of Tacoma thank You! !
