Took my car here for inspection and repair while I went on vacation. Told them what I thought was going on and they found the issues. Fixed them in less than a week for a fair price.

Terrible experience. Was charged almost $500 to get a window that was stuck in the down position rolled up. It's now stuck in the up position and that cost me $500! They had no problem taking complete advantage of someone who needed help. Absolutely avoid this place. They will screw you over in a heartbeat for an extra penny. So sad to interact with that kind of heartless , careless people. I'll recover from this expense but I'm afraid they're going to do this to someone who won't be able to. 500 could break a person or family. They should all feel just awful but something tells me they won't. Anything for the all mighty dollar right ?

I went to this location recently and had a terrible experience. I had a car there for repair (they fixed it). The problem arose when I came to get the car, I walked in and asked to see the car crank up (as anyone would). The owner seemed very upset and proceeded to shove himself in a tiny and car. After he cranked the car up he made a comment about anyone that was able to fit into the car must be a midget. My mom owned that car so I took offense to it. Still trying to be professional. I continued and asked them if someone could come with me so I could test drive the car. the owner became visibly upset and said “if you don’t trust us then don’t come back.” After he said this, he proceeded to make me pay him cash instead of the card that we agreed upon. If this business fails it’ll be because the owner can’t handle his emotions and be professional.

I am deeply compelled to share my recent experience with Ben's Quality Auto in Puyallup, WA. What I encountered was beyond disappointing, and I believe it's essential to bring attention to the serious issues I faced during my interaction with this establishment.

I entrusted my work truck to Ben's Quality Auto for what should have been a routine Rack and Pinion service, along with a complete change of brake pads, rotors, and calipers. To my dismay, after two days of having my truck, I quickly noticed that the brakes were still squeaking and no visible changes had been made to the brake components.

I returned the truck for the necessary adjustments, and while the rotors and calipers were finally changed after another two days, this hardly rectified the situation. What transpired next was utterly alarming. On the very same day that I had my truck back, I found myself driving to the gas station with my wife and two children when the brakes catastrophically failed. It was only due to the emergency brake that we were able to stop the truck safely.

The gravity of the situation escalated when I reached out to the owner to address this critical issue. The cause of the brake failure was traced back to a loose bolt that had come off, resulting in the loss of brake fluid. Initially, the owner promised to cover the tow charges. However, his promise turned out to be empty when the truck arrived, as he abruptly reversed his decision. To make matters worse, he not only reneged on his word but also had the audacity to yell at me during our conversation.

As a fellow business owner, I am appalled by the unprofessional conduct displayed by the owner of Ben's Quality Auto. The safety of my family was jeopardized due to their negligence, and I firmly believe that such behavior and practices should not be tolerated in any industry. No customer should be subjected to such disregard for their safety and well-being.

I strongly caution anyone who may be contemplating using the services of Ben's Quality Auto. Based on my experience, their level of service is subpar, their commitments are hollow, and they exhibit a blatant lack of concern for their customers' safety and satisfaction. My family's safety should never have been compromised, and this incident marks one of the most distressing encounters I've had as a paying customer. It is my hope that sharing this experience will help others avoid similar ordeals in the future.

Really rude staff (the owner was having a bad day or something). I understand if you busy etc but I paid $700 + for engine light diagnostic / repairs and to check it out to ensure engine was good etc... on a vehicle I was purchasing and now there are major oil leaks and more. I’m not saying they cause the problems, but they should have mentioned two major engine seal leaks when doing the other work.
Conveniently they have no recipes of repair they did. They refused to give me copy at the time up pickup because friend dropped it off for me. (Yes I should have waited or got my money back in hindsight) What a joke. Stay away from this place. I just spent 3,000 at another shop getting the work completed what a costly mess.
