Schramsberg Vineyards

I chose Schramsburg winery because of the cave experience. What I didn’t expect was how much I would enjoy each glass of sparkling wine l sampled on the tasting tour. Jesus, our group’s guide was very knowledgeable on the history, riddling, length of time in the cave and even more. I walked away from the tasting with two bottles of Brut Rose and several ideas for food pairings. What a great experience!

My fiancé and I booked the seated tasting with cheese pairings and we absolutely loved our experience at Schramsberg! Our guide, Jesus, was knowledgeable and humorous! He had stories to share and also walked us through the caves. The process is fascinating and I loved learning about everything! They also have a nice display of all the presidential dinners their wines have been served at. The drive up to the vineyard was magical.

Incredible experience and highly recommend tasting + cave tour!

This was probably our favorite overall experience while we stayed the week in Napa Valley. We started with the cave tour with Tom who was absolutely wonderful - very personable and knowledgeable and we had a great time walking through the caves and learning about all the different aspects of wine making. We then returned to a cute little tasting room and sampled 6 wines - we did the combo of sparkling wine and red wine tasting. The wines were fantastic, some of the best we had during our week there. Definitely worth the visit!

We had scheduled a tasting and tour of the caves but by the time we got there we had had... let us say a few too many. So we opted just for the cave tour and we were blown away! So different from every other experience in Nampa. You must add this to your itinerary.

And level of detail and history packed into that your is wonderful. Our tour guide, Mr. T, was great! I loved the story about the Black Forest wine barrels won back by a card game. Leads me to wonder, is the owner up for a game of Euchre… just for one 😜.

We had an incredible experience doing the cave tour & tasting, including bubbles & reds. Our guide, Chris, was extremely knowledgeable and fun. The property is beautiful and the history of the vineyard is really interesting. This is a unique experience in the Napa Valley!

Be on time, if not early! Give yourself ample time to park and get checked in.

Spent a lovely hour with Wine Educator Tom and tasted five delicious sparkling wines in an open shaded area. I had a lot of fun, tasted some terrific wines and bought several to take home for a birthday party. The hospitality here is 1st class and very gracious. I will return. I recommend!

This is THE place to go if you like bubbles. The history and prestige is astounding. Without being political, they have been involved with almost every White House event. The hand-dug caves were enchanting and Jeff, our guide did an amazing job of educating us and keeping us enthralled. I learned more in an hour about how the sparkling wines are made than I would ever expect. Plus the sheer volume of inventory was more impactful than other wineries for some reason. We ended the tour with the most unique tasting in the cave by candlelight. Every bottle we tried was bubbly but so unique. There will be something you like whether it is a classic flavor or something more funky.

We've been members here for years, but had only visited once many years ago. Finally got back to do the tour and tasting, brought some friends with us as well. Chris was an excellent host, informative, great personality, authentic, all the things a wine tour host should be. The caves were as neat as i remembered from years ago, and the wine was excellent as well.

Booked a tasting for both red and white wines. When we arrived, we were told that it would be a private tour as we were the only ones there at that time! Had a great tour and tasting with Christopher. The cave tour is the best in all of Napa. Very cool to see the caves and the riddling process.

We had a great cave tour tasting as our last stop in Wine Country. You drive way up the hill to reach the estate which, like many in the region, is full of history but still has family involved / living on property today. The caves are amazing. The sheer size of the caves and the volume of wine stored in them - mostly hand stacked - is mind blowing. The bubbles aren’t too shabby either. Highly recommend as one of your stops! 👍🏻

This is a beautiful winery. We were late for 30 mins and receptionist told us there was no way we can join the tour, their attitude was kind of snobbish . The guide Eva came out said she would skip her lunch and show us the winery and cellar. We were so happy and Eva is such a great guide. She gave us a great history of the winery and made us visit memorable. She is the best. The vegetation surroundings are very beautiful.

Beautiful grounds and interesting wine cave. We did the champagne tour. $85/ea for 5 tastes. It was a museum/wine tour.

We did the cave tour / cheese & wine pairing session, and really enjoyed our experience. This winery definitely stands out from the other non-sparkly winemaking peers due to its unique winemaking process. Would recommend.

What a beautiful property! We've been enjoying Schramsberg's wines for quite a while. We really enjoyed our tasting at their sister property, Davie's, last October and made it a point to get to Schramsberg this trip. The tour was very informative with lots of history and plenty of wine.

Had an amazing tour here! Our tour guide, Jeff, was the best! We have traveled the world for all things sparkling (including Champagne, France), and this was one of our favorite guides! The cellars were gorgeous, and the tasting was phenomenal. Can’t say enough about this place and Jeff!

One of the absolute best stops in Napa, a must visit! Entirely unique to most Napa wineries. Jesus was incredibly personable and curated an awesome tasting. Can’t recommend enough.

Five stars are not enough for this absolutely wonderful experience! The cave tour was fascinating and tasting the bubby was delightful! Our tour guide was Jeff, who is just terrific. He truly makes the event special and enjoyable for everyone. He's a super nice and personable guy with great knowledge and has such a clear way of explaining the process in a manner to be understood by the guests. He engaged everyone in our small group in conversation and made us all feel so welcome. I remember reading once that when guests enter your house, you then become responsible for their happiness. Jeff and the Schramsberg staff takes that same philosophy seriously and were truly successful. With much appreciation and looking forward to returning soon!
