Gary's Wine & Marketplace

Was told they had a good Bourbon and whiskey selection. I was not disappointed. When visiting Napa and you need a bottle of something other than wine this is a great spot. Don't get me wrong their wine selection is excellent as well.

Also, don't forget to shop their cheeses, meats and other items as well. This is a well rounded shop for any entertaining, snacks, or spirit fix you may need.

I cannot speak highly enough of Gary’s Napa Valley and their team. They are true professionals that are the most delightful folks to work with.

The Gary’s NT team catered the Napa Thrives six event series in June 2022. They flawlessly delivered a lunch spread for 70-130 people week after week. The food was delicious, fresh, creative, and well portioned.
From the planning stages, the drop off, plating and presentation, meticulously adding finishing garnishes, and all the communication in between, the entire team was just such a delight to work with. Our group had many changes in group size from week to week and even a couple full menu flips that were graciously accommodated and executed to perfection.

Overall, just a team of pros and kind, passionate people. If you need catering services, these are your folks. A killer bottle of wine, cool craft beers, a caffeine pick me up, lunch or dinner to go, or quality provisions for a graze board, this is your place.

Found out while there it's Gary V's place. Place is IMMACULATE with a Zillion choices of...Everything. large wine selection of course but the array and uniqueness of foods was great. We ordered. We had two of the Calitalian sandwiches and a Sedona Wrap. Good Job Mr. V. Took those plus a couple of bags of chips and hit Pride Winery and sat at their semi remote picnic tables and had it all to ourselves (there were 4 of us) with amazing hillside, vineyard mountain views. Wine as well as a chips & salsa platter was purchased. Asked if Gary.comes in and was told he comes in often but was on the East Coast. Nice store Gary!!! Worth the visit most definitely to stock up on all things Napa Valley.

Love love love this market! If your travels take you into St Helena, stop in for some unique options for home accessories, cheese, made to order food/sandwiches for breakfast and lunch, wine (and tastings), and spirits. There are many options for gifts as well. It's a nice place with great customer service to boot!

We were vacationing in St. Helena's and popped in this store and loved our quick lunch and the wine and beverage sections. They have a very good wine and hard liquor section. I'm a cook so I could also appreciate there selection of imported spices and pantry stock items. We also met the very pleasant owner. He's very personable.

Previously Dean & Delucca...Gary's Wine & Marketplace has a wonderful selection of under $25 wines as well as pricier choices. Lots of food pairing choices to choose from also. Happy shopping!

Met Alex on a recent trip to Napa. He was incredibly helpful. I asked him about a Chablis that I have been looking for for over a year. I had an email from him by the time we returned home. Alex found it and emailed me a link to pay and setup shipping Totally seamless. Its such a pleasure to deal with such professional people. We will be a regular customer going forward.

It is my habit to buy my favorite wine -- Kendall-Jackson Merlot -- from Gary's. Shipments always arrive on time and VERY professionally packed. Highly recommended.

We stopped in to get a quick lunch, but stayed for an hour. Did a bunch of tastings out of their wine machine. Lots of fun.

Great selection of wine, meats and cheeses. Knowledgeable staff. We will be back.

Fantastic customer service in person with Dana who provided options and lovely pics of charcuterie & cheese trays-fast forward to my 2 events and they were even more stunning in person for my 2 Board receptions! I highly recommend!

Ahhh, what a delight to stop at Gary's! We ordered sandwiches and were shocked at the portion sizes, we could have shared one and still have leftovers! The deli had beautiful cheeses and salads, and we found a nice selection of crackers and snacks.
I bought a lunch bag at Gary's as well with carrots and beets on it. I love my bag and every day when I eat my lunch, I have a happy memory of the lovely day in Napa when I bought it.
Gary himself was working in the store when we visited. Very friendly person!

Highly recommend over any other Deli food you need in Wine Country. Right up there with Genova. Nice wine shop with excellent service. Stop here for your Napa picnic supplies!

I had the best sandwich I have ever had in my life at this cute deli. They used high end cuts of Italian meats on my sandwich, with a high quality cheese, fresh purple and green artesian lettuce that was stacked high and nice and fresh with a beautiful ciabatta bread. I was in heaven. To top it off, I bought a large Cherry, Bourbon Chocolate Chip cookie that was to die for. Nice deli with lovely products to get you in the mood to taste wine. We left the store with a tasty chocolate babka cake. This is a must stop if you are ever in the area. They even have a nice patio outside where you can eat and enjoy the view.

Down home hospitality and stellar service. From the wide selection of snacks and foods with excellent wines to pair. If in the area stop in grab some snacks or something from the deli and just enjoy. I’m glad we made the stop in our tour. Perfect treat to end the day.

This place is amazing. Love it so much more than the previous place. the valley has always needed a strong spirits shop and now we have it. Great selection of whiskeys, agave spirits, Amaros, vodkas etc etc. The deli is amazing, the wine room with tasting is an awesome way to check out different vintners in one place and all the tasty goodies and other items are incredible.

Gary's is built over what used to be a Dean & Deluca. They conserved the spirit of the place and, to a large extent, I feel they maintain the same high standards in selecting their products but carry a more limited assortment.

While it might no longer hold the D&D brand, this continues to be a great place to stop and fill your picnic basket, get a coffee or buy some treats. Definitely worth a stop.

We picked up Tuesday's dinner selection and it was delicious! I'm hopeful in the next weeks as we all get used to pick up and to go, some additional side items will be an option, for example, a Caesar salad would have been awesome to complete this meal. Another terrific thing was that Chris paired our meal with a delicious Italian red within my price range-maybe that could be an option as this required a phone call! It was dinner made very simple! This use to be a Dean and DeLuca market. We stopped to investigate and see what Gary's had to offer. We bought a loaf of bread for my sister-in-law and some marmalade which were both reasonably priced.

Fantastic selection of liquor, world and local wine, grocery, take out food.

Great spot for specialty items. Todd was very helpful and went above and beyond during our visit to Gary's! Thank you.
