Quiet room despite being 5 minutes from the Monterey airport. Spacious king bed option. Continental breakfast available.

Michael front desk great person. Takes wonderful care of guests. There for your needs. Breakfast was good also. Lady there very attentive.

We had some water issues at home and needed a place locally for a day. The location was close to our home, and the room was very clean, quiet, and just what we needed to freshen up. Will recommend to friends in the future when visiting the area.

We only stayed one night but enjoyed it very much! We had a first floor two queen room and it was nice & spacious with a unique & wonderful layout! The room and property were so clean. I am from a smaller city and loved that this hotel feels as if it is a bit out of the busier parts of town while still being such a short drive to the main attractions. After our long drive we were greeted by Katrina at the front desk. It had been a very stressful trip and her welcoming smile was breath of fresh air! I worked in hospitality for many years and am quite a stickler about customer service. Katrina has great customer service and is a great asset to this company! I highly recommend this property for many reasons and though I do not think we will be back to Monterey any time soon I have no doubt in my mind this is where we will be staying!

This is my second time staying here. You cannot beat the value for this hotel anywhere in Monterey. The rooms are VERY spacious, clean, and comfortable. We have two children under two and we could easily fit a stroller, crib, and all their belongings. Many of the rooms have a balcony to sit out and enjoy the nice coastal weather. They even have a mini fridge and microwave. It’s less than a 10 min drive to everything you’d want to do in Monterey. Breakfast is included, and there’s plenty of options to choose from. The staff are very kind and the facilities are well maintained. Considering how much other hotels in Monterey charge and how many fewer amenities they offer, this “2-star” hotel is a hidden gem.

I highly recommend Comfort Inn in Monterey. My room was quite spacious, very clean and comfortable, and the quiet was lovely and just what I needed after a long day. The staff is friendly, efficient and welcoming. The room rate was reasonable and well worth the value I received. I will definitely stay there again should the need arise.

Some one threw up clam chowder, they tried to clean up in house but just made a mess doin that.

Rooms were updated and clean. The grounds were very well maintained and I enjoyed our stay. The breakfast area is small and I was disappointed we couldn't eat a couple of the morning because it was packed. More Togo options we can take back to the room would be nice. Overall I would recommend this property.

Perfect location for us because our child goes to California State University Monterey Bay. It's a great sensual location to go do all the things we like to go do over in Monterey and Pacific Grove. Rooms are huge. It sits back in a woodsy type setting that is very quiet and peaceful. Great breakfast in the morning. Spectacular front desk service. Pricing is spectacular especially for that area. Only minutes from the ocean and cannery row if that's your thing.

Fiance and I came for our anniversary. We have been wanting to visit the aquarium and of course, still get somewhere affordable AND comfortable. Everywhere else was out of our price range considering we have to be a bit frugal for our wedding fund sake. I was ASTOUNDED by the kind of room we got with this price. The pictures don't do it justice. We had room 403. With a fireplace! (The fireplace room was a nice surprise gift he'd knew I wanted.) Bed and pillows were SUPER comfy, Bed firmness was perfect for BOTH us. Went down for breakfast both mornings and so many options and delicious! Definitely would stay at again if ever back to visit. Just all around we had a wonderful anniversary vacation and will cherish memories made here for years to come.

Stayed here last weekend for 5 nights. No complaints at all. Clean room, comfortable bed, patio sitting area right outside my room. Microwave and refrigerator in the room. Plenty of free parking. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Great location tucked away from the busy, touristy city streets, but just minutes away from all the action and beaches. I’ll be staying here next time I’m in Monterey.

I loved staying in our large clean room with fireplace, wet bar and office area. The grounds are lovely with the pines reminding me of my treks through Monterey forests. The breakfast was adequate and the staff friendly. All this for a great price. I will be back to visit again.

Pricey for a Comfort Inn. Very nice & spacious double queen room. There was a fridge and microwave which was a plus. There was also a spacious patio with 2 lounge chairs. Lobby is tiny where you check in. Front desk not that helpful with wifi issues. Limited housing staff so couldn't have items brought to our room. Parking is pretty tight if you have a SUV. Property is relaxing and clean. I will definitely go back

Very well kept and maintained hotel .

Did 2 night stay over the weekend with my friend, we were attending wedding near by the hotel. Price was affordable, room was clean, had microwave, mini fridge, and heater. There's no AC, they did have a huge box fan in the closet provided. You really dont need AC, since weather around there is pretty cool.

Our 1st night we checked in at 8pm it was cold we had the heater on the first night, next night we slept without the heater temperature was normal.
Its quiet around the hotel even though its next to a small airport. Theres lots of greenery & fresh air, perfect for nature enthusiast, I really loved it.
They have decent breakfast frm 7am-10am, friendly staff. Checkin starts at 3pm till midnight, checkout is 11am.
We were on the bottom floor. Room above us you could hear footsteps in the middle of night when they used the restroom.

Definitely would stay here again if I'm in the area. Carmel by the Sea & Monterey Fisherman's Wharf is 10-15mins away.

Our hotel room was larger than most hotel rooms we have stayed in, and it was absolutely beautiful. The bathroom was huge, hotel room with huge and spacious and there was even a deck to sit out on and enjoy of you. The price was also excellent. We stay at a lot of hotels, and this one definitely left us impressed. We would definitely stay here again. The room we got for the price was absolutely beautiful. Some might complain that the carpeting and other things are a little bit older, but honestly that's a minor complaint. You'd be hard-pressed to find a nicer Comfort Inn with larger rooms.

Excellent hotel to stay in if visiting Monterey, it's less than 5 minutes from the old Fisherman's wharf and less than 10 min from Cannery Row... rooms are spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was great. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

Nice, clean, large rooms. Good value for money. We would stay here again.

Actually, wanted to edit and update this. I've changed from 4 to 5 star rating because of an action the owner took without even knowing I had rated as we booked under a different name than mine. We had to leave a day early and we checked out about 9am but one day early. We did not ask for a refund because we had reserved the whole time and simply expected to pay for it. Two days later, unasked for and unexpected a full refund for the last day appeared on our credit card. Wow. That is amazing customer service. Great hotel!

That was by far the absolute best 2 star hotel I have ever been in. It is beautiful, new, upgraded, very clean, great food. It's much nicer then some 4 star rooms I have stayed in. We left a day early and found out a few days later they reimbursed us for the day we left. They did not have to do that at all per our contract. Class! Would go again in two seconds. Also a good quiet location but within 2 miles of everything. Seriously impressed.
