Few places offer chicken and waffles, even fewer offer chicken and waffles as perfect as these ones. Waffle was perfectly cooked, soft on the inside slight crunch on the outside. Chicken was well seasoned, crispy, and delicious. Add the country gravy for an added level of flavor that takes you to a whole new world of flavor.

If that's not enough to get you in the door, the pancakes were equally light, fluffy, and delicious.

Service was great. Can't wait to go back!

Really delicious food with awesome Hawaiian and Filipino touches! If that’s not your thing, they have traditional American fare too. Great food and super friendly service. The wait can be long so prepare for that but it’s definitely worth it. They also easily separate checks which is one of their better qualities when dining with larger groups. I always tip extra because of that!

This is one of the best breakfasts I've had in awhile!!!! You can get on the wait list on yelp. It's packed (for good reason) so I recommend utilizing that service. All I can say is try the lumpia!!!! I got the marianas fried rice and the lemon curd with blueberry waffle. I also got to try the carne asada fried rice which was equally amazing. The wait staff is so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. They are also very attentive. They knew I needed ice tea before I did. Keep this restaurant in business as I want to keep visiting every time I'm down here!

Staff with personality, food made with care, and perhaps an irritable waitlist, but it’s well worth it. Sure, there is a bit of a wait for your server when eating, but guess what? That’s what happens when you get 3-4 tables at the same time, welcome to food service.

Aside from the small observation, food was amazing. The California eggs benedict and country potatoes were well-seasoned with good-quality eggs. Lumpia and pork fried rice tasted just right, a Filipino trademark you should not downplay.

Plus, $6.50 mimosa? Not even the “glitzy” and “chic” brunch places of the bay can top the quality of this cozy spot.

Great place to sit down for breakfast. The food tasted delicious and the portions were a good size too. We visited on a Saturday morning and had to wait for an hour to be seated. I would recommend checking in online in advance.

Food was fantastic. Service and atmosphere was amazing. We were served almost immediately after we were seated. The food came quickly as well. The payment process is extremely efficient. No wasting time waiting for your card to be ran. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

Food is amazing! Service was exceptionally friendly and fast. If it weren’t our last day in town I would go back tomorrow. Prices are incredibly reasonable too.

The staff were all very friendly. The food was good. It had a diner feel. We arrive before 10am and there wasn’t a line. Once we left, there was a wait.

Absolutely delicious! We went here for a late breakfast while we were in the area and will definitely be going back again. The service was great and the atmosphere was too. The apple cinnamon waffle was amazing, and I would go back for it alone.

Chicken Biscuit!! Delicious tender juicy chicken on a tender flakey biscuit drizzled with a honey sriracha glaze. I would come here just for these but so far everything else we had so far has been tasty and well made. Service is excellent and has been consistent with employees looking like they’re happy to be there.

Since we don't like to wait and it's a busy place, we got here early and got seated right away. I'm sure the place had a cool vibe, but I was focused on food. All of the food was incredible. I will be coming back for more. I ordered the pork belly and eggs. The strawberry jam is made in-house apparently and was very tasty. Not over the top sweet. I can't remember what my husband ordered. We also shared a plate of the special key-lime pancakes. Those had a hint lime and were just scrumptious. My child had the chocolate banana bread French toast and according to him it was "super good". Service was good overall.

My son and I pulled up right when they opened, we had a great breakfast, pictured is the Filipino breakfast, and a hot link scramble and a chicken sandwich with Sriracha honey sauce. The food was great , the service was absolutely amazing. Only wish they had a 3x lumpia shirt.

Great breakfast spot. Really good breakfast and good service. On this visit we had a party of 8 and a small child. Everyone loved the food and service. I had the loco moco and it was delicious. I had a little bit of the pork belly fried rice and it was delicious as well. Biscuits and gravy were great. A few different types of gravy options to choose from. I had county on the biscuits and chorizo gravy on the loco moco. We got on the wait list before we arrived using Yelp and I would highly recommend it. They make you do it when you arrive anyways.

Stopped here on our way out from visiting Monterey and so glad we did! Best breakfast all weekend. Plus the staff was friendly and quick. Definitely would go back next time we’re in town.

The operation workflow is well organized which is great for customer service. From the time you walk through the door until you leave the staff is attentive and friendly.

I'd come back to this place. Worth the try. Cozy feel. Very friendly staff, prices are generous considering the portion and quality of the food (approximately $12-15/person), warm atmosphere, and very enjoyable. I recommend getting on the worker before you head over. It can get backed up. The pictures don't do the food justice. The biscuits and gravy were perfect! Super fluffy biscuits, more than enough gravy, perfectly made eggs. Chocolate Banana Bread French Toast: OMG, amazingly wonderful, light and fluffy with amazing flavor, not overly sweet. When they say "Golden Waffle" they mean it: absolutely perfectly golden and delicious. Lovely experience. Happy bellies. Didn't get a picture of the fourth menu item: corned beef hash. But we all tried it and it's definitely worth it.

First time here. The food was great. We tried the Pork belly fried rice, the lemon curd & blueberry pancakes and the chocolate banana bread french toast. Every thing was delicious!

EAT HERE!!!! We lucked out on stopping here for breakfast, we had an amazing server (tall African American male- sorry we forgot your name!). He was very attentive, quick, and kind. We loved our food and loved the “vibe.” We also lucked out because we got here right before the rush came around 9 am. We had two kiddos under the age of 3 here and it seemed like a very kid friendly joint. We’ll be back and can’t wait to bring friends and family here. Mahalo!

The lumpia is AMAZING! Stopped by for breakfast and were seated immediately, staff was super friendly! We were not rushed, they let us take our time looking at the menu, if we weren’t from WA this would be a regular stop for us. Highly recommend stopping by especially if you are not from the area!

Such a gem! We were visiting my son at DLI and his friend recommended it. 10/10! My children had the chocolate banana bread French toast (I may have stolen some, unbelievably good), my husband had biscuits & gravy (loved it) and I got the eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was ok, but still delicious. Take time to go, you won't regret it!
