Your hotel is lovely. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and we had a million dollar view. The common areas such as the decks and hot tubs were very well maintained. Thank you for a beautiful stay.

Coming to Monterey has been a goal for many years. We chose Monterey Bay Inn because it is on the water and is a short walk to Cannery Row. The location was all we could have hoped for. The views of the bay were amazing, and Cannery Row is a nice 1/2 mile stroll. The hotel is very comfortable and would be very quiet, except for the barking sea lions, not a big deal. The hotel serves a continental breakfast to the room each morning. There is pastry, hard-boiled egg, fresh fruit, yogurt, and coffee.

Delightful hotel in every way! Perfectly situated about halfway of short walks (and I mean 15 minutes of slow ambling) between Cannery Row and Fisherman's Wharf, on a quieter turn of the shore where you can hear the sea lions conversing on their rocks, and also the gentle sounds of the waves onto the shore all night -- best sleepy-bye sounds ever! Kind and interested staff who genuinely want you to enjoy your Monterey stay, and they are committed. Great breakfast delivered to your room at time you request. Staff are over the moon friendly and helpful. You will not be made to feel like a "tourist" - they will treat you as a friend. Highly recommend.

Bay front hotel with spacious rooms. Staff are lovely- very helpful and full of great advice. Rooms are very clean and the beds comfortable. Parking on site (fee) and within 5 minutes walk of the seafront, Cannery Row and downtown Monterey.

We always stay here when we go diving in Monterey because our experiences have been consistent: nice staff, perfectly comfortable and very clean rooms, convenient parking, and relaxing vibe. They have binoculars in each room so that you can have a look at the abundant wildlife and breakfast always arrives promptly.

we got a complimentary upgrade to the huge king room overlooking the water, and loved that the rooms included binoculars to watch the sea otters, sea lions, hawks, seagulls, tide pool critters, and swimming birds. the breakfast is tasty but on the small side as you only get to choose one (high quality) thing for free. great room and very clean!

Wonderful hotel and great service. Alex gave us a very warm welcome and was helpful with restaurant recommendations, all of which worked out well. Housekeeping was good but maybe a little overzealous --- they changed our towels daily, despite our request not to. Very annoying, but not enough to spoil our stay. This really is a wonderful hotel in a great location.

We love Monterey Bay Inn. It is in walking distance to the wharf and aquarium and has a beautiful view. The staff is so kind and friendly. We will definitely be staying at Monterey Bay Inn every time we visit Monterey for our whale watching trips as a family.

We absolutely loved staying here on our recent trip to Monterey. I had originally booked a Cannery Row street room but was offered a ocean corner room with a balcony for a very reasonable upgrade price. We absolutely loved the room (220) and would highly recommend it as the view was spectacular! You could see the entire bay, the beach, and the pier as well as all kind of wildlife right from inside the room or on the balcony. That room was great as well as the balcony above provided cover when it rained and we were able to continue enjoying the view. We were provided with complimentary wine, for our anniversary, which was a nice touch. I would highly recommend this place if you are thinking of going to Monterey.

Great hotel! We stayed for 3 nights. The rooms were very nice and clean. Loved the balcony and the view of the bay. Great location, restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The staff was great! We will definitely stay there again.

We stayed at the Monterey Bay Inn late February of 2023 and had a wonderful time and experience. The staff was professional and helpful and made checking in fast and efficient. The lobby was clean and so was our room which was on the 3rd floor with ocean view close. Even though we were situated close to the elevator, we found our experience quiet. The king size bed was fabulous which was a big deal to me because I don't normally sleep well in hotel beds. The bathroom upgrade was a real luxurious visual with lots of space for two people to maneuver. Outlets were a little hard to find for charging your electronics, but if you pull the bedside tables slightly away from the wall, voila. We took advantage of the continental breakfast all 3 mornings so that we could enjoy the room, the view and the morning sunshine. The continental breakfast was perfect. Low calorie and enough food to get you going until lunch. It was served right on time and brought directly into our room by friendly maid service. The hotel has two hot tubs, one with a gas fire pit and lovely sitting area the other on the top floor with a view. The hotel is in a good location, still within walking distance to the local shops and restaurants and a short drive to all your sight seeing adventures. I would definitely stay here again. Awesome service - we stayed over for one night and we're blown away with this hotel.

Fantastic location with our balcony view then in the evening after we'd been round Monterey, staff came into the room to set the lighting, prepare the bed (turn down covers) and leave chocolates on the bed - we've never experienced this in any hotel we've stayed at anywhere during our travels.

Add onto this, a hot tub available after a long day driving and walking and you're totally refreshed.

A brilliant stay and we would love to come back - you can't go wrong booking this hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The harbor view from our room was breathtaking. The oceanview outdoor hot tub was our favorite amenity, it almost felt like it was our own private area. The friendliness of staff and the relaxing vibe you feel once you walk into the hotel was amazing. Also, the continental room service breakfast was a perfect plus to an already amazing experience. We WILL be back and we will be sure to ALWAYS stay here.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was walkable to most things, while still on the water. The breakfast was nothing fancy but was very convenient and a nice touch to have delivered every morning. We’ll be back!

My family and I went to Monterey Bay Inn, and everyone thought it was beautiful. We had a balcony that had a magnificent view of the ocean! Especially in the morning, when the sun is rising. They have wonderful room service, and I'm hoping to come back here soon! The rooms are nice, clean & cozy. Thank you Monterey Bay Inn for making our stay amazing & beautiful!

Everyone was so nice. Staff was great. Cleanest hotel I think I've ever been in. Breakfast was on time and correct both mornings. Absolutely magical views. View from our balcony couldn't have been any better. We aren't the type to sit in the hotel room much but didn't why to leave because of the wonderful views and wildlife nearby. Will definitely stay here again if back in the area.

Rooms were clean and exactly as pictured. We had a balcony overlooking the ocean. We were less than 5 mins walking distance from the beach and about 10 mins max walking distance from the aquarium. Staff was super friendly and always there when needed. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will come back in the future.
