Trudy's Hallmark Shop

This is a great store! So many holiday items. Half the store was holiday ornaments and items the other half was cards. I do feel like every year the card section keeps dwindling though.
Staff was incredibly friendly and kind. Had to go elsewhere for gift bags but was overall happy with the experience. Food/candy like items are very pricey there.

I love this place! My wedding Anniversary is on Valentines Day and if you think it's easy to find a Valentine-Anniversary card, you'd be sorely mistaken! I've searched everywhere, for eleven years and have never been successful, until this year, when I found this place. They told me that they only stock 3 cards, that are appropriate for Valentine Anniversaries and two of them had been sold! I got the last one! Until now, I've had to make my own greeting cards for this occasion! These folks were extremely helpful and very pleasent to deal with. The young woman that helped me, spent a lot of time with me, signing me up for their rewards program and with a smile, told me she had the same birthday as me, but quickly informed me that she was not born in 1956, like I was. Funny, I didn't really notice any age difference in how old we both looked, but I elected to not point out that I looked a little younger. I thought I'd spare her feelings, since she was so nice and helpful. Now, if you believe that, I've got some land I'll sell you cheap, off the coast of Florida!
Great place! Made my year!

Super good selection. I come here anytime I need quality cards for special occasions. Somehow, they always have what I'm looking for!

This store has a broad selection of merchandise beyond the traditional Hallmark products. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Musical cards and dog socks, they have all the gities and cards you need! Very helpful staff!

I have been shopping at Hallmark in Federal Way since the very day that they opened. Every time I walk in the staff descends on my in the nicest way asking how they may help. The walk me to exactly what I want, and then they let me browse in peace. The never hover, but they are always there to help me choose the perfect cards and gifts. My awesome wife always loves their cards and candies, and my entire family knows that the card is not worth giving, unless it has the Hallmark gold seal on the envelope.

UPDATE: Trudy's Hallmark contacted me immediately after I posted this review and made an exception for me due to the lack of communication. I am so pleased with the way she handled this and I highly recommend shopping there.

I am so disappointed in my experience. I purchased 2 backpacks before Christmas and asked the clerk if I could return them if I didn't end up needing them. She said "Definitely, just keep the receipt." I took them in last week in the same bag they came in, with tags still intact. They will not take them back because "you should have known they are plush" (in fine print the word plush is on the bottom of the receipt). It's sad - where has customer service gone?

Came for the first time today and wow, what a fun experience! This store is huge and has something for everyone. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by a woman (maybe THE Amy?) who informed us of the special promotions going on. She was smiley and friendly. A few moments later, I asked another employee a question about the price of a product, and not only did she know off the top of her head, but she even told me how to get the best discount on it. The third employee I interacted with was a male cashier who was upbeat, funny and also very informative while telling us about the fine print on a coupon we earned for future use. All three employees were so warm and welcoming and knowledgeable. I was so impressed! And amazed, considering it's Black Friday weekend! A+++ to the staff.

The store is, as I said, huge, and a few small shopping carts are available. The aisles are not so small and congested that you can't get the carts around, which I appreciated a lot. Besides the obvious card and gift wrap choices, there's a wonderful selection of gifts and home decor, accessories like handbags, collectibles featuring Snoopy, Star Wars, Disney and even Pusheen (!!), and an impressively large Pandora jewelry section.

I had a blast shopping here and I expect I'll be visiting frequently from here on out!

Great Staff! Witnessed a lost child while I was here and staff worked right away to locate mom and keep the girl calm. This store had an excellent selection and was very well stocked. I found several gifts here for Christmas and a couple deals in the clearance. If I were local I'd be in here all the time!

Such friendly service! This is a fun place to visit. A lot of gift ideas and things that you would expect to find in what you think is just a card shop. Very pleasant atmosphere. It's always very neat and clean

You are greeted immediately and warmly when you walk in and the sales people offer assistance and guidance around the store without being pushy or lingering. Everyone working the registers was super friendly and warm to every customer. I came in for a gift for my Grandma and left having got Nordstrom level service. Great job!

Both the ladies working there each helped me to find different types items. Did you know they even sell Pandora charm beads. It is a small but good collection compared to what you would see at a Pandora store.
