JC’s Cafe

This is a very delightful place! We sat outside. There was only a 5 minute wait. Hostess was very pleasant. Service was on point, and genuine. I had the Caesar Salad with salmon. I requested the salmon cooked with no salt or seasoning, and they prepared it just so. They provided these wonderful complimentary little warm pita wedges. JC’s serves breakfast, brunch, and lunch. I will definitely return the next time I’m in Palm Springs area. Also, this time of year is so perfect in the desert. This afternoon was an agreeable 77 degrees 😊

The place was very busy, but seating moved fast, minimizing wait time. Service was great all around and the food was very good. The belgian waffles are probably the best waffles I've ever had, highly recommended. The blue crab Benedict was delicious and a must try if you are into Benedicts. The Machacado Burrito was very tasty, fresh ingredients and the flour tortilla wrapping it was just right. We prefer sharing dishes so we get to try different things, but if you only had to order one, I'd recommend the Benedict or waffles.

You know when you're in a good place when you hear this is the local spot plus when you get there it is busy. The food was delicious and the service was spot on! We sat outside and enjoyed our breakfast with a very delicious coffee.

I'm so glad I found this little gem one morning. I've been back here numerous times and the service is always extremely friendly, helpful and genuine. Their food is delicious! I love the Belgium Waffles. They load it with blueberries and strawberries, more than any other restaurant I've been to. My boyfriend loves the variety of scrambles they have. Always great portions and excellent taste. They're open for breakfast and lunch and have a large variety of drinks as well. I just discovered that they also have a small terrace with a single table if you want some privacy. We love it and come here every week and will continue to do so.

We stopped in on our way to the living dessert for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised with the variety of breakfast options. My mother had the spinach frittata with avocado and I had the French scramble. Both were delicious. On top of that service was amazing 😍

Fun lunch with 3 couples.
Sat outside near the parking lot, plenty of shade with the numerous umbrellas. Had a Cobb Salad, and the Mrs has Avocado Toast. Food was tasty and filling. We we're in the lunch rush hour, and the place was packed. Service was very slow, but they were doing their best

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at JCs. Our service was great and the employees were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, and there were generous portions. We would definitely return.

This place is a GEM! Food is great, and portions are generous. The staff is friendly, even a little quirky. Fun place to go and enjoy a breakfast or lunch. Patio is delightful, in a small court yard with trees and umbrellas for shade from the desert sun. Reminds me very much of a east coast deli type.

Can be very busy, particularly at the height of the season, but it is really worth waiting for. The pastrami hot dog is a blast, but they seem to have the sandwich category down pretty well. The chicken salad is generous and delish! Enough to share. Have not been for the breakfast, but our friends tell us it is very good.

Prices are reasonable. Plenty of parking in the rear. This can be difficult to find from the main street, as it is at the rear of a little court yard, but easy to find from the parking area. A real treat.

Always good! The seafood salad stuffed avocado was fresh and tasty and the Reuben sandwich was also delicious.

The food delish, the ambiance cozy, great location you can shop around after dine in fantastic place in El Paseo, good size for the restaurant, quite busy it was a perfect portion of the plate. Satisfied customer here.

Earlier in am, I forgot my water bottle on my walk. It was very hot. Stopped & asked for water. Very obliging. Saved my walk w/ a glass of cool water. Thank you!!!!!

Perfect chill location after a hike. Most food options from $14.95 to $15.95 per plate. Pretty solid prices and good service.

This place is fantastic. Service was friendly and prompt. Recommendations were 10/10. Nellie killed it. Do yourself a favor and order a waffle for the table to share for desert next time you brunch there. Best waffle I’ve ever had. Seriously.

Great breakfast spot. Loved my chicken and waffles. The waitress was outstanding; exactly who every restaurant should aspire to hire. She was just amazing and I hope she’s my waitress when I return.
The atmosphere and setup was plush under outdoor trees, even if it was 110* outside, it was bearable thanks to how cognizant they were in setting up for the present guests. We all even made small talk amongst one another a few times.
Will definitely return on my next trip back south.

The Best Cafe in Palm Desert. We celebrate many occasions at JCs. The Quality of Food, Drinks and Customer Service is the extra here. Highly Recommended.

JC's Cafe was a most enjoyable sit down. The atmosphere, the food, the people, the service. 5 star all the way. The coffee wasn't even bad where most places it is. 😀 We sat outside on a perfect day. Pure pleasure. Great job guys. Really enjoyed it. 😉

Great brunch spot! The hardest part was deciding what to order, the chef is a magician with plating food! The pastrami was fantastic.

The restaurant was packed, but our server was excellent in making time to take great care of us.

Friendly local cafe. Service was top-notch. The California eggs Benedict arrived quickly, a generous portion, and tasted even better than it appeared! They accommodated our large group graciously, congratulated and gave the happy couple a free cake to enjoy. The patio is lovely.
