I’ve never had a bad cut from any of the stylists at Left Coast. I’ve had my hair cut my Kristina, Navy and Marta. The cut you see in the photos is my most recent cut done by Marta. I had a stellar experience with her and could not be happier with the outcome of my cut. To note, each time I have had my hair cut and styled, they finger coil. My hair tends not to curl well with that technique, so the photos you see are when I styled my hair at home using a Denman brush and Innersense products.

Kristina is pure Divine Magic. I've had a lot of deeply unfortunate cuts and she delivers us from them. Kristina cut and styled my curls how I've dreaming aomeone would for years, I'd started to think maybe it just was no longer possible to love my hair. I was wrong...Today was healing. She's also got a truly kind and skilled team...all together they create a safe and welcoming space. Highly recommend Left Coast.

G was awesome! My girlfriend is super shy and we had been to two different stylists prior who promised to give her the haircut she wanted, only to fall short and make my girlfriend really sad in the process. Fast forward to last week, and G gave my girlfriend the exact haircut she wanted! They took time to actually make sure everything was exactly how she wanted and pictured, constantly making sure everything was perfectly symmetrical, and being so so so nice!! G was definitely the best hair stylist we’ve ever met, and we can’t recommend this salon or them more! Thank you!

Wonderful salon, great vibe, comfortable, and cozy! Fern did a great job explaining the entire process, why they were doing what they were doing, and how I can best take care of my curls at home! They were so nice and fun to work with, and I felt very comfortable in the chair :)

Update: I've lived with my hair cut for a little bit and I just want to add that I LOVE it and have received many compliments ❤.

I had a wonderful experience with Navy. I felt welcomed and cared for. Everyone there seems to have a passion for not just cutting hair but making people feel good in their bodies. Navy was so kind. I'll absolutely be back! As a mixed woman with tight curls it's been almost impossible over the years to find someone I can trust with my hair. I'm very excited to have been referred to Left Coast.

My stylist, Navy, was super friendly. She gave me lots of tips for my hair type (fine, curly hair) and took her time to make sure the cut was done well. HIGHLY recommend this salon especially for folks with curly hair, it can be hard to find salons that do curly cuts well. Also the products are reasonably priced for the high quality. Thanks!!

I had an amazing time throughout the whole process!!!
First of all, I love how supportive and encouraging all the staff is to each other, it reflects well on the positive work environment.
Second, after an hour of being there I literally felt at home. I love how everyone was chatting and joining in on conversations with each other and laughing and joking together.
Third, Martha did an amazing job on my hair! I love the consultation process from my initial messages when booking the appointment to right before starting, and even throughout the process when Martha would stop in and check in or make recommendations.

I’ve always struggled to follow through and keep my salon appointments consistent, but I don’t foresee that being an issue from now on. I have found my salon until the end of time ❤❤❤

10/10 I couldn't recommend more! I've been bringing my daughter here for a few months on their children's membership package (amazing deal). She got her first haircut and LOVES her new style. She gets regular wash and styles which have been a life saver for us. Her head is very sensitive and all the stylist are patient, kind, knowledgeable and friendly. They take their time and always give her extra goodies. She leaves happy and confident. Thank you for all that you do ladies!

This is a full service training salon. I decided to book with Martha, who's still a bit new, but BOY is she careful! She had her educator, G, right there along the way and offering her guidance throughout the appointment. Consultation was truly thorough, it's been a long time since I've had that level of professional service. We came to an agreement about how my hair should be cut and at times she even broke out an.. angle meter? Not sure what to call it but.. Every. Single. Hair. Precise!

I've never had the cut done before the wash & style but either way, I walked out very pleased with my cut.

Perhaps because it's a training salon, or perhaps it's because of the culture of the salon but I felt at home immediately. Of course Martha and I chatted but then other stylists chatted with me as well. I absolutely LOVE that because in my experience it fosters the best type of work environment, which in turn fosters the best experience for clients.

I plan to rebook with Martha when the time comes to cut all my hairs.

My first time getting a hair cut and walking out excited and happy with it. G, thank you for sharing all the curl knowledge and fostering a comfortable environment with the being you are. What you do changes how people move and feel in the world so thank you again! Will be seeing you soon :)

Martha was wonderful as a stylist! She was very attentive and communicated well through out my hair session. She made sure I received the service requested.

Erika was amazing! I knew from the start she would listen to me, gently teach, and not judge. I want to bring out my natural wave/curls but wasn't sure where to begin. She listened to my priorities, took into consideration my habits and activities, and we formed a plan together. I appreciate her taking the time to educate me on so many things I never would have thought of (desipite all my internet searching and video watching!). Excited to return and continue this journey!

Is there higher than a 5 star rating?! if so, I would give it. I brought my teenage son in as they had wonderful reviews. He has had some horrible experiences with his curly hair and haircuts. They are wonderful. Reviews were accurate. They took the time to help him understand his hair and his curls. They took the time to understand the exact haircut he was looking for. He left there with the exact cut he wanted, education on how to care for his curls and an experience he will never forget. We live an hour away, and the entire drive home as he could talk about was a wonderful experience and how much he loved his hair. It’s a few days later now and his hair still looks great. I highly recommend Left Coast Salon. Worth every penny, and you will not be disappointed. I plan on making an appointment and returning in October for my curly hair.

The stylists at Left Coast Salon are amazing. My time there, I was able to witness several stylists work and the results were beautiful. The salon has great energy, it's a vibe! I actually had the honor of being cut by the owner, Kristina who was not only able to accommodate my last minute request but also recreate a cut she did on me in May 2017. If I had the money, I'd fly from Nashville every few months so I can stay under the care and professionalism of her and her team. It was a great experience in 2017 and has only gotten better (the techniques, the time given to properly educate on hair care, the ongoing training and the high standard of excellence is impressive and impeccable). Highly recommend and strongly encourage you give this salon a try...you will not be disappointed.

I had the pleasure of having Erika as my stylist. She listened attentively to my specific needs and taught me how to manage my curls. She was thorough with my dense hair and took her time to get all the details. I appreciate her so much as it’s been hard to find a good stylist for curly hair. I will be coming back to the salon just for Erika.

It's been awhile since I've had my hair done. I'm a little self conscious about my thinning hair and my hair stylist was so kind, friendly and was just overall great! And did a great job, and provided a lot of good advice.

Left Coast Salon is THEE place to go if you have curly hair. I’ve been growing my natural out for years, and Kristina has helped me every step of the way. My hair has multiple curl patterns, so the shape needs to accommodate their uniqueness and variations. I absolutely love my new haircut! The shape is exactly how I imagined it, and it’s given me a total glow up. It will be so easy to maintain, too. Kristina knew exactly what to do before I even started describing my idea to her. It’s such a joy to know you’re in expert hands as soon as you sit in her chair.

I have felt insecure about my curly hair for a very long time. Kristina not only made me feel heard and seen, but also empowered. I learned so much about my hair and how to care for it. Kristina leads with such compassion and grace, and this shows in her interactions with her team and her clients. I highly recommend Left Coast Salon to anyone and everyone. They will meet you wherever you are at in your hair journey.

Navy (Nah-vee) was welcoming, friendly, easy to talk to, and listened to exactly what I wanted. She gave detailed explanations about what she was doing and reached out for help to Kristina (owner/trainer- who was also fabulous!) when needed. My very short curly hair was out of her usual expertise, which she let me know, and thanked me for letting her have the experience. She was very sweet and gave deep explanations about products and how to style my hair just how she had done it. The salon itself is lovely, filled with clean lines, and is comfortable. I will definitely be back and have already scheduled my follow up appointment. Thank you so much for an awesome haircut on my difficult to cut crazy curly hair!

I loved the attention to detail and care that Martha took when walking me through the steps of my hair cut! I love how my hair was styled and am pumped to rock my new hair;)
