Had a post-workout breakfast, generous flavourful avocado topped omelet served with delicious seasoned rice and plain refried beans. While waiting for our order we were served complimentary chips w salsa and an excellent tomatillo sauce. We ended with churros, fresh and crunchy. Only request that was not fulfilled was hot milk for cafe con leche, only cold milk was served. Friendly server!

Yes yes yes. Make your way here. The food is great. The portions are large. We split the plate below and could barely finish it. We dined in and the place is plain but the service is terrific. The young woman that served us was knowledgeable, pleasant, prompt and appreciative. Everything you hope for in a server. We will be back. Easy parking near the door.

Amazing breakfasts! The green sauce had some heat, I loved the kick and the flavor. The server was super sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be back!

The reviews were all positive and accurate, the food is great. Service is excellent and quick, our server was wonderful. My wife and I had breakfast burritos: she had the ham and I had the chorizo breakfast burrito. The ingredients are fresh and the food is authentic and well prepared.

Absolutely delicious. Very good portion sizes especially for the tacos. I ordered two Carne tacos and two shredded beef, one each of hard shell and soft taco. 10/10 excellent flavors. Even the chips and two salsa choices were yummy, but beware, lots of kick! We also ordered the green enchiladas with carnitas. The rice is spicy too! The margarita has Fresca in it to give it a little bubbles. All in all, we loved it and will be back!

We love this place. We always pickup food and the wait is never longer than 15 minutes. We’ve also taken our kids here because the service is fast and it’s nice to sit outside. The chilaquiles is so spicy but so good.

This place is open despite the construction. We read all of the positive reviews & gave it a try. Turned out to be an absolute gem of a place: EXCELLENT authentic Mexican food, great service. Much needed break from all of the overpriced options that under-deliver. Also one of the few places that have killer Baja fish (grilled, not deep fried) or shrimp tacos that are amazing!!

They are the only place I have found in Palm Desert that legitimately shreds their chicken. It is unbelievably good! The hot sauces are incredible and actually spicy! This is about our 10th time of getting takeout and it just never disappoints. Just wanted to say thank you for the quality and customer service! Always so kind and actually acknowledges humans.

The food was delicious. I particularly liked the salsa verde - which packed a bit of a kick. The portions are ample and the service was great.

I absolutely love this place. It's important to me to support local businesses and this is my favorite Mexican restaurant. I have loved every item I've ever ordered from their menu. GET THE CHILAQUILES!!!! I do enjoy spicy food and I order the green chicken chilaquiles, with icky half the green sauce. It's their signature dish. The tacos, sopes, horchata, jamaica, micheladas... so many flavors my friends and family love and crave.
The staff is always warm, friendly, and the owner is a kind and wonderful man. I can't say enough positive things about El Rodeo Cafe.

Delicious Baja shrimp tacos - great grilled flavor. Loved the ground beef tostada. The meat and grilled onion combo was delicious. Good chips and salsa to start. Cheap prices!

Such wonderful food. The revived Cafe looks wonderful. The wet burrito was outstanding. If anyone is looking for great authentic Mexican food, this is it.

Absolutely delicious. My wife and I came here while spending a weekend at Palm Desert . I am so glad that we stumbled upon it, the ambience is amazing, the staff is friendly, and the food is amazing. We loved it so much we came again on our second day here. Every time we come to Palm Desert El Rodeo Cafe will surely see us again. Thank you so much!

Coldest Beer anywhere! The food is good. Big portions. Fast service if your in a hurry. And plenty of seating if you have a big party. Beer and Wine

Prices are great, I paid $6 for a very tasty and filling lunch. $6! Food is great, everything tasted very fresh and flavorful. Dishes seem authentic and well prepared. The atmosphere was very nice. The restaurant was very clean. Plenty of fun Mexican and rodeo themed decor. Overall a great place.

The food and service were good in a cafe atmosphere so a bit noisy at times.

Had the cabeza taco and carnitas burrito. They were both very good and juicy, I would definitely come back here again

All the food is delicious. We particularly loved the Tortilla Soup. So good.

Out here for work and the reviews caught my attention and i gotta say the food lived up to the reviews. Clean and friendly environment, would recommend!
