First time going here and Terra was awesome. I'm a no caffeine person and love teas and she figured out what I wanted like she read my mind. It was so good that me and my daughter went back the next day. Starbucks who. I love small businesses they give a personal touch. DECAF as well

This is a great little place. They have a great assortment of food and drinks, great formulations, quality ingredients. Very interesting atmosphere leaning into the Tacoma grunge aesthetic. Always felt very comfortable in there. I love their matcha drink it's way better than Starbucks. And although they may not make it they do sell an excellent Bagel breakfast sandwich.
All in all a great shop to get some good coffee and a good bite.

My wife loves the coffee here and is becoming her favorite spot. I do not care for the coffee myself, but the waitresses/baristas are always friendly and quick with service. They have tried their best to make the atmosphere good here but might be better at other shops. I would recommend trying it out.

The coffee is delicious and the employees are so nice and helpful. This place has quickies vegan sandwiches that are super great. We visit often and they get to know you after a couple of visits. If you want delicious coffee and great food or snacks this place is for you! Have an amazing day!

Just got back from there! Everyone was nice, atmosphere was lovely and the drinks were delish! Will be back soon!

I am in love with their lavender nirvana chai tea drink. This place is great and I always enjoy the music/vibe. Their food is good too!

Good coffee, pastries, and sandwiches. Very close and convenient if you're waiting on something at one of the many medical places in the area. They have a drive through, too. Service was friendly and fast when I visited.

Good coffee, and the barista was soooo sweet. Visited on a Monday afternoon, where I was greeted by drinks being buy one get one 50% off, as well as an extra espresso shot being on the house. I didn’t see this written anywhere, but it was a nice surprise! Not sure if this was a one time thing, or if I just got lucky.

The 6th Ave location is amazing! Very friendly service and delicious drinks. Couldn’t recommend more!

Great spot for a fun fancy drink or a plain cup of coffee. There is something for everyone here. The vibe is cute and the staff are friendly! I’ll miss having them in the North Slope neighborhood, but looking forward to visiting their new 6th Ave location!

Mia was amazing! Not only did she make my wife the most amazing Pumpkin spice/pie combo coffee she's EVER had, but she was wonderfully compassionate to talk to about my daughters hospital stay.

Best coffee around. I moved out of Tacoma and still drive 40 minutes to this shop just to buy an iced coffee and a bag of beans! The customer service is above and beyond and the quality is worth every penny. Tired of being disappointed and feeling like you’ve waisted your money on a bad cup of coffee? Then stop playing and come to Tacoma Java Co. you will NEVER be disappointed. Plus so many good options including plant based options! This place has something for everyone. Love this small business! Cannot wait until they expand closer to where I live!! ( at least I sure hope they do!)

Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Coffee is delicious with several flavors available. I've tried a few and they have all been good. They also serve specialty teas and energy drinks. My only complaint is the drive through can get crazy at time, but not enough to take away a star.

This is one of my favorite coffee stops. Friendly staff and the coffee is fantastic! The parking isn't great, especially as there is construction going on right now, but it is usually faster than the drive thru. Either way, you'll get a great cup of coffee!

This place has great coffee. I go almost everyday and dont even have to tell them my order anymore; they just start making it. The gals that work here are super friendly and always brighten up my morning!!

Love this place. Great coffee and such friendly baristas! My daughter and I come every wednesday after school and the barista always remembers what we like to order and she is so sweet. She always gives my daughter a lollipop and whip cream with sprinkles. It's a sweet touch. They are amazing at making delicious coffee.

Amazing staff, excellent coffee! They have a drive thru which is super convenient for downtown. I will be back for sure!
