Wonderful dinner tonight. First time coming here. Had ribeye steak. So delicious! Manhattan is very good. Will definitely return again. Our waitress was awesome!

What an absolutely stunning view for dinner tonight! It was date night for the wife and I. We had never been here before. We were there before 5 pm, so we were told we had to sit downstairs. We ordered the scallops for our appetizer. I then ordered the Wagyu burger, and my wife ordered the blackened chicken with risotto. We both had ginger beers with lime with our dinners. Lastly, for dessert, I had the cannoli's, and my wife had flourless chocolate cake. My burger was tasty. I enjoyed it very much. My wife said her blackened chicken risotto wasn't that good, nothing to write home about. Service was adequate. Will we be back? Yes. But only for happy hour prices, though. Our bill for date night was $131.81 before our $30 dollar tip. Was it worth that much money? In my opinion, no. We did enjoy ourselves, I just feel it was a bit steep in price.

The view, the ambiance, the cleanliness, the flavor of the food, all that were absolutely fantastic! Interesting history too! It's pricey, but a great place to go on a fancy date or out for a special occasion!
Only 2 small complaints: You can feel the cool breeze off the windows upstairs, those could use an upgrade.
There's a lot of construction in downtown Tacoma, so make sure you leave with ample travel time because the hostess punished us for being 10 minutes late by making us wait an extra 10 minutes after arriving, even though our table was ready, and I called ahead to let them know we'd be a little late.
Still would highly recommend!

Dinning at this amazing restaurant was a delight from start to finish. The delicious food, impeccable service with Ashley serving and breathtaking view made for a memorable experience. Highly recommended!!!!

Great views. Yes, the food is spendy, but you only get upset when it's a bad meal. Friendly, attentive service. We will be back

Had dinner there tonight for my dads birthday. I got steak and lobster the steak was perfectly medium rare. He got the seafood fettuccine and he loved it, lobster cream sauce was great and they didn’t skimp on the seafood in the pasta. Drinks were good as well. Our server Lisa was busy but had great attentiveness and was so nice. We got a complimentary cannoli and enjoyed it. We will be back here it might be our new favorite nice place for dinner now. (Sorry harbor lights 🫣) It was our first time here and didn’t have high hopes but left impressed. Definitely recommend!

Spectacular harbor view, professional staff, great meal and lovely wines. Our server made us dessert cocktails of his own recipe and they were amazing. Such a treat!

Our last vacation meal. Exceptional steaks! Potatoes were awesome. I was truly impressed with our dining experience. Compliments to the chef and staff. Definitely worth 5+ stars 🌟

From the beginning to the end, everything was absolutely wonderful! The food was truly the best I have ever had and was well worth the cost. The view was breathtaking, and the service provided by the staff and our server, Ciara, surpassed all expectations and made our anniversary celebration truly special. We will definitely be returning.

Wow the Food is Killer! Had the Surf and turf🤗😎mouth watering ate the whole Dinner! Ashely our waitress took excellent care of me and my wife! wWe eat out alot and service in the Tacoma area is suffering! Big time so how wonderful to enjoy a place with a great view! Come and enjoy! Ask for Ashely but all the staff are nice.

What an amazing place and a wonderful experience. Though they weren’t able to find our reservation they still accommodated us and got us a table quickly. The service was amazing with the server constantly checking up on us even though it was packed. The food was the best part, very flavorful, perfectly cooked, and well seasoned. We went for dinner and it was a very romantic vibe and an amazing atmosphere would recommended it to anyone.

Valentine's Day 2023. Came here for a 4:30PM reservation and we were seated promptly upon arrival. The ambiance of the reservation is wonderful for a date night with your special someone! I was worried that the view wasn't going to be spectacular because Mt.Rainier was hiding that day, but it was a jaw dropping sunset and beautifully lit up by city lights when dark. Our waitress was very attentive and made sure our food came out with perfect timing between the appetizers and entrees. For appetizers we shared: sourdough bread, caesar salad, and clam chowder. The clam chowder is very thick and flavorful, caesar dressing top notch, and who doesn't love bread and butter? I got the filet mignon and my boyfriend got the prime rib; both were cooked perfect to our desired medium rare. The best green beans I have ever had! For drinks we got the Cliff House Mai Tai and an AMF, delicious. The entire experience made for the best ever Valentine's Day dinner yet! Bring your sweetheart here for an amazing experience, cannot wait to come back and enjoy the Martini bar on a hot day!!

Had a great dinner tonite to celebrate my wife's birthday.
Started with ceasar salad for me and a wedge for her. Also ordered the sourdough bread. It is extra but worth it. Make sure to order the small salads as they are filling.
She had the shrimp/scallop risotto and I had the filet with garlic shrimp. Filet was cooked perfect and very flavorfully. Wife said her dinner was very good also.
Server was Angela. Outstanding.
Highly recommend this restaurant.

Phenomenal steak, and every appetizer was perfect, with a great cocktail menu, too. The sauce on the tuna tar tar was to die for. Unbeatable atmosphere, and the service was top-notch.

Friendly staff, delicious food, wonderful scenery

Always love the atmosphere here and service is great!! The curried mussels are amazing and they always do a nice job on salmon! We've been dining here for years. Whether it's just for happy hour downstairs or a celebration dinner in the main dining room, we've always left happy and full! Would definitely recommend!!

As you park and enter this lovely eatery, you will immediately have the opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Puget Sound and Commencement Bay and a picturesque marina. Fortunately, the restaurant takes ideal advantage of these spectacular vistas by having a “wall” of picture windows. The interior ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful and comfortable. Start with a delicious beverage or glass of wine. I suggest the roasted pineapple margarita which is unique and flavorful. You can then proceed to mouthwatering seafood and/or steak selections. I recommend the Surf and Turf, an 8oz filet and 6oz lobster tail. Don’t forget the appetizers and dessert. I recommend the deep-fried cheesecake. The service is second to none. Ask for Lisa, and you will receive friendly, thorough and expert service.

The view of Tacoma is beautiful, the food and drinks tasted good. I've lived in NE Tacoma for any years and this was first time to the Cliff House and it didn't disappoint! We had the perfect date night.

I brought some friends of mine here for dinner. Neither one had ever been before. They loved it and are planning on coming again. I of course loved it too. You did not fail to impress.

It has been a while since we've been to The Cliff House but as always food was delicious, service impeccable and view outstanding! We had a very nice time. Thank you for the added birthday surprise cannoli. Delicious!
