Update- Doctor Packard apologized and he paid for my partners glasses. I still stand by what I said about his Indian Wells office. I will only deal with the indio office only.

My partner and I see Dr. Packard in indio. He bought the business from Dr. Seto who we saw for years. We have been very happy with Dr. Packard in fact he found that why eye was bleeding inside and I had to go to a specialist for treatments. He saved my sight. So when I went to pick out glasses afterwards I didn’t see any silhouettes and they told me they had a lot of different styles at the Indian Wells store. When we got there, I saw several pairs I liked and my partner found pairs she likes. We have good insurance, so we get two pairs of glasses a year. So while we were in there the girls behind the counter were talking to a delivery guy, they never offered any help. So we go to the counter and we have this whole conversation about how the computer wasn’t working, so they will collect the money and send the order out and have them delivered to indio, it’s closer to our house. When we were charged for all four glasses we ended up paying $688 which is a lot more than what we usually pay they said it was my Silhouettes that were so expensive but she said “your insurance is really good so you got a good deal”. So we think everything is done just waiting for the glasses to arrive. That was before Christmas. I called today to see if my glasses were ready, they said yes. So I pick them up and ask about my partner’s glasses and I was told they hadn’t come in yet and then before I left she said oh she never paid for them, I said yes we did. She said she would call my partner about the situation. They never called. I told my partner what was happening. So my partner tries to find out when her glasses are coming in and they said they never ordered them because they weren’t paid for. So we are going round and round not getting anywhere, so we said have Dr. Packard to call us. We decided to call the Indian wells office and the woman we dealt with was arguing with us about what happened. Accusing us of lying. So my feeling is she is covering up her mistake and put the blame on us. We are waiting to hear back from Dr. Packard. The people in the Indian wells office are rude, they hung up on us. I will update this review after we speak to the Doctor at this point they get a 1 star.

If I could give negative stars I would. I would have never have come back to this office, If my previous experiences had been similar. They keep messing up prescription orders. With my work schedule, I can only come on Saturday. They're always closed or closing. The younger guy at the counter is always rude, makes you purchase in a rush, gives false information while dealing with Eye insurance and doesnt place the orders correctly. And they denies that he said that and makes comments like this is why I don't Like working with insurances. Sorry dude it doesn't matter on your preferences, if you like it or not. This isn't your office. If we can ever get my frames. I don't plan on ever coming back to this office again.
