Java Cherry in Citrus Heights is truly a hidden gem, and it's quickly become one of my favorite spots in the area. As a local family-owned business, it exudes a warmth and charm that is hard to find elsewhere.

Louise, the manager, is an absolute delight. Her passion for coffee and dedication to providing exceptional service shines through in every interaction. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, you're always greeted with a friendly smile and genuine hospitality.

The location of Java Cherry, nestled not too far from Costco, makes it a convenient stop for a delicious pick-me-up. On my recent visit, I indulged in their Peppermint Mocha, which was an absolute delight – the perfect blend of rich coffee and refreshing mint. And let's not forget about their Kahlua Cake – it was a heavenly treat that left me craving for more.

What I love most about Java Cherry is its cozy atmosphere. It's the perfect spot for quiet meetings or simply unwinding with a good book. The ambiance is welcoming, with comfortable seating and a relaxed vibe that makes you want to linger a little longer.

Ive lived in citrus heights all my life and haven’t ever been to this place. From my understanding its been here 8 years😮I have definitely been missing out. Today i ordered a 20oz Elvis latte which is a banana and peanut butter. I was pleasantly surprised at the balance between the sweetness and the coffee flavor. I normally experience a bitter aftertaste from the larger coffee chain restaurants but none here. the coffee was superb. I also decided to try a Kalula coffee cake which was homemade by the mad batter. which the owner informed me is her mother. the cake was very moist and delicious. i enjoyed the rich chocolate/ kalula flavor and the chocolate pieces baked inside. This coffee shop is a hidden gem with reasonable prices and great coffee run by the sweetest woman. it made me smile when i was told to have a nice day and thanks for stopping by. felt like i just visited ma for a cup of coffee ☕ i will be back. make sure you give it a try if your in the area

Wow! I’ve driven by this place multiple times and never paid attention or seen this little coffee shop until I seen it here on Google Maps. This is a small quint coffee shop with amazing drink options & syrups w/delicious baked goods. I tried a iced caramel macchiato the taste was delicious !!! no aftertaste the caramel is way better than anything I can get at Starbucks or other coffee shops, I also tried the Kahlúa cake made by the owners mother it was very moist and delicious!!! ☕ I definitely would recommend stopping by & having a coffee and a treat 🧁🥯

Lived nearby for years and finally stopped in on a long walk.
Very friendly, cozy, coffee shop with expansive menu of hot, iced, or blended drinks reasonably priced.
Got an iced white chocolate raspberry mocha and it was excellent!

Great independent coffee shop! Soy or almond milk for your non- dairy options. Saturday is apparently sand which day. There are a few outdoor seating options for this no dine-in time. The shop is super cute and inviting when dine-in becomes an option again. Also, a great to go fancy coffee at a reasonable price.

Really great little gem of a coffee shop. Cute little assortment of rotating baked goods, extensive coffee menu, and sandwich of the day. They have non-dairy milks and quite honestly every drink I have had was delicious. Not too sweet just right!

Wanted to get familiar with coffee shops in my neighborhood. Cozy and inviting. I had a vanilla latte and something yummy from The Mad Hatter. It's hidden in the corner, next to a barber shop.

I normally go to Starbucks but they have been randomly closed in the mornings lately so I decided to stop by this place and I'm so glad I did. I decided to try the cherry white mocha and it was very good. Not to sweet and great flavor. The owner was very nice and friendly. This is definitely my new coffee shop!

Louise is an artist, and I come every Friday (for years) to get my drink. You wont find your perfect coffee at Starbucks or Dutch, but you can find it here. The little homemade cakes are to die for, surprisingly filling, and I'm not ashamed to say I've walked out with a half dozen or more before. You simply wont get that kind of taste and quality out of the big name's frozen and freeze dried, long distance shipped, pastries.

I drove past this gem for years before I stopped in. Don't make that mistake too. Skip Starbucks one morning and get the coffee you deserve.

I've been coming every Friday (for years) to have my drink, and Louise is an artist. Unlike here, you won't find your ideal cup of coffee at Starbucks or Dutch. The tiny handcrafted cakes are amazing and surprisingly full; I'm not afraid to admit that I've left with at least a half-dozen or more in the past. You just won't get that kind of taste and quality from the long-distance frozen and freeze-dried pastries sold by the big names. Before I stopped, I drove by this treasure for many years. Don't commit that error as well. One morning, forgo Starbucks and get the coffee you deserve.

Very long list of flavor syrups and locally made snacks. Got the java cherry, mango smoothie and macchiato. All of them tasted great, based on my families opinions.

Friendly service. Takes a little time but quality made. Been meaning to go there driving by. Glad to visit!

The absolute best hot chocolate I've ever had. She made it right with milk and added a touch of vanilla. It's prolly the best 3 bucks I've ever spent. The atmosphere is really cool as well as it just feels like a living room. It's the perfect hangout spot. I'm super excited to return and try out more on the menu!

We love this coffee shop! The owner is a very nice, friendly lady. Coffee is way better and cheaper than at Starbucks! Today I had pumpkin pie latte... soooo good! Delicious & fresh pastries... apple fritters are our favorite! This place is a hidden gem, give it a try!

I am so impressed with the atmosphere and cleanliness. I love the decor and vibe. Toys for kids, a comfy couch and chairs to chill, two tables, TV and all the coffee signs you could ever hope to read. My kids loved their lemonade tea, I loved my iced white mocha my BFF loved her hot mocha. I will come here again and again.

I’m not a big fancy coffee drink person. I like iced coffee with a little sugar and that’s it. However when I want something special Java Cherry makes the absolute best dirty chai nonfat iced latte around. No comparisons. Keep up the great work and thank you for being there for us. BB

She is and exelent BARBER the first time I stop by she did great job it takes time for me when I am in a new town ti fine a BARBER to my satisfaction
