Hawthorne Elementary School

All 4 of my children attended this school spanning over the last 15 years, one is currently still attending. I love this school along with it's staff and teachers. I do not agree with any of the negative postings as you will find that the teachers are caring, enthusiastic and provide a quality education. My oldest children loved attending this school and have fond memories. My youngest still attends and is not only excelling in her classes but absolutely loves her school and the teachers she has had each year.

Best school ever

This place shouldn't even be considered an elementary school, it's more like a daycare. The curriculum is not challenging or exciting for students. All my daughter ever came home with was worksheets. If you long for a creative and positive environment, then this is NOT the school for you. The policy for bullying is nonexistent. There isn't displinary action for those who students who bully others. The principal is not helpful whatsoever when it comes to resolving issues. If you hate being involved with your child's education, well being and overall success; then this is the school for your family.

My grandson has been going to the school for 13 days and has been beat up 5 times. Otherwise....
