I live in the Newcastle area, so going to Alderwood Mall was a bit of a drive. I’m very glad I went tho, cuz today I’ve discovered a very nice Turkish cafe inside the mall. I ordered a Turkish coffee expecting it was gonna be bitter, but it was NOT! It’s rich and smooth! I was told by the owner that the Turkish delight were from Istanbul, and let me tell you….. they are as good as they look! Beautiful and delicious. None of that powdered sugar overly sweet stuff that you find in other stores. Friendly owner and helpful staffs, excellent service!

I definitely recommend this cafe! The cardamom honey latte was SO GOOD (and they were able to accommodate non-dairy milk, too, for my boyfriend). It was handmade and tasty. They definitely know their niche. I also got the spinach-feta borek, which was deliciously spiced and surprisingly filling. Plus, everyone who worked there was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Next time, I’m going try the Turkish delights — they looks like tasty little jewels. Yum!

Not too sweet but tasty. Beautiful Turkish delights. Rose pomegranate is a must try. Loved the subtle rose flavor with those rose petals 🙂 will go back to try different flavor and coffee.

Went to this spot because I had a vague memory of having a great Turkish coffee in my past at some point. We had to leave so we got a cold one "to go", a Hazelnut Bombastic and a few of the Turkish Delights (rose pistachio and pomegranate, kiwi pistachio and and a classic rose) WOW WOW WOW. We went back today, the very next day!, to sit down and enjoy a BEAUTIFUL and decadent, velvety thick Turkish coffee, the way it is meant to be enjoyed! With the INCREDIBLE folks that run Kismet I forgot I was sitting where I was and felt like I was sitting with friends. I suggest, you GO, try something that ISNT like the "hurry up and grab a gallon" and IS like treating yourself to a chill break in an otherwise hectic day, and discover this gem like my wife and I were lucky enough to. Check out these photos we took!

I recently went to Kismet while in the Alderwood mall and had an amazing pastry and a Turkish coffee while exploring.

I was shocked to learn that they’re being squeezed out of the mall by Starbucks by the end of the month. It really is a shame because the dine-in experience and quality is truly amazing.

I hope the owner is able to continue stay because it adds so much dimension and unique atmosphere to a mall that really needs more than Starbucks at every single entrance. Highly recommend spending your time and money here to support the owner who you can tell really cares.

The service is excellent. We had the Achima with nutella, it is delicious. They are made from scratch daily and it shows. Also recomend the classic Turkish coffee, tiny, strong, and perfect.

My partner had the honey cardamom latte, and loved it.

Located in the Alderwood Mall, between Macy's and Michael Kors.

Hot caramel mocha was as good as any I have had and I try to get to every coffee place I come across. The price was normal and the people were friendly but the coffee was really good which is what counts for me :)

During our recent visit to Alderwood mall we saw a kismet Turkish cafe since it was recently opened we wanted to try. I have never tasted Turkish delight so I was little doubtful if we will like the taste. We got Honey & walnut, Pomegranate & pistachio and loved both. I am eager to try other discourse in my future visits

I had my first taste of Turkish food last summer when I visited their location in the Alderwood Mall. I tried borek, and the friendly staff there helped me pronounce it, then suggested some sides and beverages to go with it. I LOVED it -- very tasty but simple, and not overpowering with spices or heat. I followed the staff's suggestion of eating it for breakfast, and it was delicious and filling. I can't wait to go back and get more, plus get some of their coffee!

Wonferful family-owned coffee shop in the heart of the mall. Coffee is great, and the pastries are to die for.

I love this kiosk so much. the coffee was delicious (I went back for a second glass before I left the mall), my son really loved his caramel shake and those Turkish Delights were spectacular.
Part of the reason my wife and I went to Alderwood Mall in the first place was to get coffee there. I would highly recommend this spot for anyone who loves coffee and have (or even haven't) eaten Turkish Delights. They get a well deserved Five Stars. I can't wait to go back!

I went by kismet this morning for the first time. I have always wanted to try Turkish coffee and Turkish delight. I was not disappointed! The Turkish delight was *ahem* delightful. The coffee was amazing as well. Strong, not overly sweet, and delicious.
The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Educated me on Turkish delight. I would absolutely visit again!

I watched Kismet set up a stand in an unlikely place—Alderwood Mall. Turkish cuisine is a very well-kept secret, but I knew this place would draw some great patronage once people found out what it really was: some of the tastiest food you’ll find in the North Seattle Area. As I’ve become a regular I’m starting to notice other familiar faces, my “peeps,” those who have discovered Turkish baklava, coffee, and savory pastries. The owners are a wonderful couple and they treat everyone like old friends. They’re flourishing, even in these tough times, and it’s truly awe-inspiring to see. This—is a lovely little place.

I was waiting for this place to open since they put the signs couple of months ago.
The Turkish coffee they serve is so delicious and they serve it in a very beautiful cups. Their sweets are homemade, fresh and we'll done.
İn addition to that .. they offer a wonderful service. The owners are so nice 💚 i would recommend everyone to go and try their stuff! You will enjoy it so much! I will go so often to get my coffee there.

Best coffee spot at the mall for sure~ Genuine coffee knowledge and receiving a authentic turkish coffee is rare these days. The pastries slap and have fulfilling ingredients. If you are going to work let KISMET carry you there!

SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS, they are always improving and trying new things :)

I had the best brevè latte In a long time here. The owners Timur and Janette are very kind folks.

I had a simet (sesame seed covered round circular bread, like a stretched out bagel) and it was delicious. Try one!

The owner gave me a few sample pieces of Turkish delight, and it's the real deal, imported straight from Turkey.

Stopped by and the gentleman behind the counter was outstanding! He was so friendly and walked us through everything and paired our Turkish delights with our coffee. It was amazing! Do yourself a favor and skip starbucks for this gem.
