Order a Yokomo Bontana. I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Definitely will be back for more!

Many good food options here.

Great place for lunch because of their nice lunch menu. Good prices and good food, good portions. Service is always quick. Staff is friendly. Ordered the pork chimichunga, served with rice and beans. My friend ordered the tostada but requested no shell. They were very happy to accommodate the change in her order. Atmosphere is soothing, not too noisy. We stayed awhile to talk and weren't rushed to finish our meal. My family members also enjoy dining here frequently.

This place has great food don't let the bad reviews prevent you from giving it a try! I feel like the other reviews do not know how mexican sushi is done. It is very different than asian sushi, this being said all the sushis I've had from this place have been AMAZING! Their servers are nice and polite. The food is very good, specially if you have had sushi or sea food from Culiacan. In their menu it references many places from Culiacan Sinaloa, which I think was pretty clever. Also, don't miss out on their micheladas and the horchata de coco. I definitely recommend this place.

I beg to differ regarding all of the negativity that I heard in the previous reviews. The food was extraordinary, the service light and amenable. I think these people unfortunately know nothing about Spanish food other than “paella,” and are reluctant to try or experience all that Spanish cuisine has to offer. Very sad comment to have to make. Bravo La Isla! Mi hija y yo comimos super bien, incluso tuvimos la suerte de probar los langostinos de Sanlucar, que estaban buenísimos, y acababan de llegar ese mismo día.

I haven’t even eattin yet and the service is amazing, asked what I liked, offered details on the menu! I’ll need to do another review after I eat, this ones just for the service before hand! 😘

Both my husband and I were pleased with our overall experience. We've been there only once but definitely plan on returning. The food was great, customer service was great(very important), and the prices were reasonable.

I have been a patron of this establishment as a building prior to its current owners. And I have enjoyed every dish with joyful gluttony! One can say that there is a new Sheriff in town and that is the Benitez family. They have been to the utmost servile to its core definition. The service not only arrives with a smile but with the "I'm at home feel" in turn make me come back and back while spreading the word of this remarkable whole in the wall of this beloved city Ontario! Jackie!?!? You Rock!

The sushi is fresh, delicious, and the customer service is 100%. I recommend the sushi cielo, mar y tierra with lemonade and mineral water added. The best place to get Sushi Sinaloense.

If you're not used to Mexican sushi, and you are expecting Japanese sushi, this is not the place for you. Yes, there is such thing as Mexican sushi. On the other hand if you like Mexican sea food and culiacan style sushi this spot is awesome.
