Vela Santee Apartments

Vela was a wonderful experience for our little family. We loved our apartment and spent the entire summer on the patio enjoying the sun. We would recommend this property to anyone. Our little Frenchie was OBSESSED with the dog park. Though the best part about living at Vela was our office staff. Chantal is the most incredible property manager we have ever had the pleasure of working with, she is so responsive, engaged and professional. We never had to inquiry about anything twice, she handles everything smoothly and promptly. And the entire maintenance staff kept the grounds running smoothly! We see how hard you all work. Thank you for everything you did for us in our time there.

We have loved our time living at Vela. The apartment is beautiful and feels like home, but what makes the development the best is the staff. From the minute we reached out Chantal was attentive and got us into the perfect apartment so easily! Chantal and her team are on top of everything. If you have an issue (Which are not normal) it gets solved right away! One thing I really appreciate is the preventative maintenance they do. They come in and do checks to make sure everything is good before you may have issues.

It has been a pleasure living here, I would highly recommend. It is a very pet friendly atmosphere, lots of gorgeous plants, maintenance is very responsive, the apartments are beautiful, and Chantal in the office is very helpful. I have lived here for over a year and have zero complaints.

Absolutely comfortable place.
1st of all we like to recognize, The property manager, Chantal was beyond accommodating with anything needed and even followed up with us every day, and even the day after it was fixed. SHE IS AMAZING! We’re really very happy with our choice of living. We feel right at home.There is not one thing bad we can say about the apartment complex but a perfect beautiful home for us. I have lived here since December 2021 and from Day 1 Chantal the property manager and the entire Vela team has been amazing! The application, approval, and move in process was seamless, professional, and quick. This is a beautiful complex with all the amenities I could want. Other places I looked at, I would have had to pick or choose one thing over another. But at Vela, I got everything I wanted and needed! Chantal is by far the most amazing property manager! She is so sweet, very professional, and responds to residents needs in a timely and efficient manner. I credit the success of Vela to Chantal! We receive weekly resident update emails that keep us in the know of anything going on. Vela is constantly improving things around the complex and keeping everything looking nice and new! All the residents are quiet, respectful, and we all work to keep Vela clean and nice.

I relocated here a month ago and I am so happy that I did. First, Chantel the property manager is amazing. She is so friendly, helpful and accommodating. With any instance of me reaching out she communicates back to me immediately. I had a minor repair yesterday and reached out to her for help while I was at work. Chantel placed the work order for me and was very supportive of my concern for my dog being at home while the issue was being taken care of while I was at work. She contacted me by phone (within a few hours after I placed the work order) saying the issue was rectified and my pup was great during the maintenance visit. Upon coming home from a long day a completed work order was left on my counter with a very nice note from Ritchie that my pup was a very well behaved boy and that they are friends now. That warmed my heart. A door hanger was also left on my front door saying the work was completed and to have a nice day. As simple as this might seem it made me very happy about my decision to move here. In all my rental history I’ve never had such great customer service plus the care and support for my fur baby. I can’t say enough positive things about this community and the especially the great people that work here. Thank you Chantel and Ritchie :)

The Property Manager really sets the property apart from others to make it an enjoyable place to live. Chantal has gone above and beyond & her Team does an excellent job at maintaining and keeping the property clean. They always make sure we have stocked dog stations that are clean & not overflowing. Their efforts are greatly appreciated!

The apartment is absolutely amazing! The Property Manager, Chantal, will provide you with the best service you will ever receive! If there was a way to rate more than 5 stars, I would! Super clean and accommodating at ALL times! Super safe location, so you don’t have to worry about crime. Not much traffic, so it is quiet enough to relax in peace. Dozens of Grocery stores and restaurants only 10 minutes away. I highly recommend leasing at Vela. You won’t regret it!

The best apartment I’ve ever lived in. I can surely call this place a home. Chantal is amazing and she’s always there for you no matter what. This community makes me feel like family. Everyone helps everyone and we keep it clean and tidy. If I could give this beautiful place I call home a 6 star I would. I highly recommend! This was my first time living on my own and Chantel made it super easy and overall just gave me an amazing experience. Chantel was very attentive and helpful and helped me out so much. 5 Stars for sure. The Vela Apartments itself was very well kept and maintained and very nice inside. Loved the barbecue area and pool for entertaining guests. 10/10 recommend!! Thank you Chantel and Vela for a wonderful stay!

This is a wonderful community! Chantal was very helpful in every step of our move-in process; lots of great amenities from sleek modern home design, pet friendly, clean and quiet neighbors and neighborhood.

Located in a great spot in Santee! Out of the center, so not much traffic. Right next to a car wash and easy entry to 52 and Mission gorge! Walkable neighborhood and close to West Hills highschool!

Really amazing place with great patio and dog run. Pet friendly is hard to find.
