San Marcos Brewery & Grill

This place is right on San Marcos Boulevard. Easy to find and has lots of free parking. Staff are very friendly. Lots of beer on tap. Had two flights of beer and was not disappointed. Love their garlic fries.

Great place to spend an evening. Fantastic food. Good for hanging out with friends and have decent conversation with out shouting. Nice background music and decent crowd, not too lour or rowdy. Highly recommended.

Great food and consistent in quality. Our favorite is the chicken tortilla soup but all their meals are good here.

This place makes the best fish tacos. . And they use nothing but the freshest ingredients. I'm sort of picky and I always have something special to ask for and they always get it right. And the happy hour in Taco Tuesday prices no one can beat them for the quality. Also the service is very good and the place is always clean. I've been there numerous times and have never once sent anything back.

I love this place. They have a good happy hour and the staff is friendly. Dave, the Owner, is usually around. The architecture is really cool with huge wood beams from Northern California. Side note- the chicken soup is outstanding and great if you’re under the weather.

My wife and I were looking to try someplace new. My wife had fish tacos and I had the baby back ribs. My wife liked the tacos and I loved the ribs. They were the best ribs I had in a restaurant in years - tender, moist, flavorful and nicely glazed with a very good bbq sauce. The house IPA beer was also very good. We will definitely be going back again.

Everything was delicious. Got the BBQ Bacon Ranch burger. It was cooked perfectly to medium, with crispy bacon and onion rings. The fries were fresh with a crispy exterior, too. Friendly service. Lovely!

Came here for dinner on Aug 3rd. Have been here a few times before and the food never disappoints. We started off with an order of the Large Chicken Wings. These are some of the best wings you'll find anywhere! For my meal, I had the Cajun Chicken Bow Tie Pasta which was really good and quite generous portion. After having a couple of the wings, I was only able to eat half my meal. Every beer I've ever had is at least good, or better. This time around I tried the Vanilla Cream Ale and the Hef. Both were quite nice and refreshing. Will definitely be back when in town again.

I drive an hour and a half for the wings; they are huge and the flavor is amazing!

My wife and I have been going to SMB for over 10 years. For us this place is like Cheers. We know the owner, management, and wait staff and couldn't ask for a better environment for casual dining with great food and beer. We always start out with the seasoned fries which are absolutely phenomenal. The Honey Ale is our overall favorite beer on the planet and the wings and fish tacos are a staple food for us there. Overall, you really can't go wrong by stopping in and having some food and beer at the San Marcos Brewery & Grill. We love this place!

Wish they would add Salmon Fish and thin seasoned sweat potatoe fries. Oh man, best ever over in the Oceanside Habor.

Ya.know what I love? When you've been going to a place pretty regularly for a few years and the staff is all the same. If I knew their names I'd call them all out by name and tip them all $100 if I could!

Reasonable prices, excellent beer, wonderful service! I've been coming here for years mostly for the lunch, I always have great service no matter what! Visited tonight for some dinner and beers, same super duper experience!

Yummy, crispy, flavorful wings, delicious beers l (my fave is the coconut porter), and awesome service. Prices are very reasonable. Great place to watch sports.

We gave been eating here for over 23 years. Their wings are the best. Bacon cheeseburger is amazing too! The beer too!

I have been going to the brewery since I was a little kid. I have always loved their wings, some of the best in the world and I know my wings. Cool atmosphere and good home made brews on tap.

All of the wait staff and greeters were extremely pleasant. Food was amazing. I'd highly recommend dining here!
