We were fortunate to get the recommendation of Precision General from a neighbor, and are so glad we did. From the moment Stephen came to do the roof inspection for an estimate, his personal integrity and expertise was evident. When presented with a competitive bid, we knew our search for a roofing company was over, and that Precision would do a fine job. To say the work performed was top notch would be an understatement, and we feel confident this roof will last for decades. Precision stands by their work, and employs a conscientious, hard working crew. We heartily recommend Precision General Contracting.

We worked with David for the initial measuring and pricing process. He was through, and made some great recommendations which we followed. Once the ball got rolling we worked with Jeff & Samantha, who were both great and very responsive. It took a while to get the windows, but that was expected and they had established that expectation at the time of the order. We replaced 28 windows in our house. Our house is fairly new, 30 years old but all the window frames were damaged. So we just took the plunge and we aren't disappointed. Precision’s team of employees is so professional. Marty and Johnny came to replace our windows, took them 2.5 days to do 28 windows. They were timely, very professional (so much so that I would leave the house unattended with them working in it while I ran summer errands with the kids). They were amazing. I'd recommend Precision in a heartbeat.

We just had the most wonderful experience with Precision General!

Our house's balcony boards and railing had been in dire need of replacing the entire 7 years we've owned it. After the rains this spring the railing started to get loose and it was just super dangerous so we bit the bullet and got estimates from various companies. After speaking with a contractor who quoted us a 30% higher price (claiming that materials costs had skyrocketed) we appreciated Precision's honesty when they said that wasn't true and that materials rates were only marginally higher.

Work-wise, everything went incredibly smoothly. The crew was able to reach our 20 ft balcony from the exterior so never disturbed us on the inside. They discovered our beams underneath the boards were rotted, so quickly quoted us the price for just the materials and labor, which was affordable and pretty generous of them to do. Even with this extra work they kept to their timetable to 3 weeks by working on Saturday. And finally, we appreciated overall that they didn't work their crews longer than 8 hours each day. Just feels like they are pretty good to their employees.

We've had a TON of work done on our house in 8 years, but I can honestly say this is the best home improvement process we've had with anyone. Communication via text/email/phone was flawless, and the workmanship is A+ all the way. If you're reading this just hire them already!

Precision General Contracting built a new 10x20 deck in our backyard. From the estimate through project completion, they were very professional and provided a valuable service. We received the best estimate from the onset. Then David was assigned as our project manager and his communication was great. We were impressed with the quality of the work and the follow up and communication around our request to add shade sail poles and hooks as well. I highly recommend them for value, service, responsive, quality of work, and professionalism.

Initially, my husband and I had seen multiple general contractors for our ideas about a new deck; and because we were a bit concerned about the complexity of our upcoming project, we wanted to ensure we made the right choice in who was going to be capable of turning our dreams into reality. Fortunately, we chose Precision for this task. We had the pleasure of meeting our project manager, David, who was extremely open and communicative about how the project would play out (and, might I mention, it advanced exactly as he said it would!). We were already feeling comfortable and grateful working with Precision at this point, and even felt the confidence to employ them to add a patio cover to go on top of our deck. We did have an issue at one point with the financing company we chose to utilize, and that did cause some confusion for us in how to proceed. Thankfully, every time we ever called in to Precision’s main office, we were met with kindness, patience, and overall congeniality- so even during our times of confusion, Precision as a team was able to offer answers and guidance to make this entire process comfortable and of the utmost convenience for us. I would like to personally mention Precision’s office manager, Samantha, as one of the most capable, knowledgeable, and helpful people I have ever had the pleasure of working with, and am so glad to have had my project in her hands. Every time I look outside I now see a gorgeous view exactly as I had imagined it to be.

We had two retaining walls built in our backyard using rock wall paving stones. It looks amazing it is beautiful and extremely functional as it is keeping my hill from eroding. The workers were on time worked hard got the job done when they said they would the only drawback was they didn’t speak a lot of English and I didn’t speak Spanish but gosh darn it we made it work and we understood each other. Again amazing job looks good and is the start to our new.

Great experience with Anthony and his team. Anthony was very thorough and clear throughout the estimate process and the work turned out superb! Knowing what is under the new roof makes me feel secure against mold and water damage. Knowing the windows have a lifetime warranty (even against glass breakage) makes me feel secure. Knowing the company backs up their work makes me feel secure. They were timely and responsive from beginning to end were friendly & considerate, which matters a lot for a multiple day job. Job well done, from a happy customer :)

After 25 years, our home was in need of a new roof. I solicited several bids and walked the job with every bidder, to ensure I got "apple to apples" proposals. After that process, Precision General was the best choice for the job. They called me about 2 weeks in advance and scheduled an installation date based of the unprecedented rainy season we had. They were on time, started at 8am and completed the total tear-off and new roof in less than 11 hours, with a crew of 8 people. They were hard working guys and did a high quality job! Clean-up was done to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!!

We are EXTREMELY pleased with every aspect of Precision General so far and highly recommend them. Their production manager David has been outstanding in relaying updates and schedules. We always know what the next steps are and when they are coming up, and who is arriving for work the next day. If we have a question about anything we simply call their office and there is always a friendly and helpful voice on the other end. The entire crew has been very professional, prompt and are great communicators. Superb service and workmanship. It's hard to find an honest contractor these days, we will certainly use them again for future projects.

My husband and I were looking for a company to put up a patio cover in our backyard. He came across Precision and scheduled an appointment with Glinda. When the estimator (Stephen) came out he was very knowledgeable, professional and was able to give us exactly what we were looking for. Stephen provided his professional guidance in selecting the right patio for our backyard. The material took approximately 6 weeks once ordered just enough time for me to get HOA approval with the plan drawn out by Precision. The patio arrived and was installed in one day. The installers knew what they were doing and did a great job.
Things I like about my experience is Stephen was 100% from the start and we trusted him. We are blown away with how good our new patio cover looks!

Precision General Contracting completed a siding project for me and the entire team was incredibly professional. After the siding was installed they applied their lifetime paint product to the siding and it looks literally amazing. The end result was flawless and I received clear communication and updates throughout. My neighbors keep asking who did the work and I’m happy to refer them to PGC. Honestly I can’t recommend them enough!

After a few weeks of research and a couple quotes, we called Precision and Anthony came out to hear our grand vision for a two story deck with a roof, a separate deck/staircase, and several external doors, including a custom bi-folding door.

Let me start by saying the work done by PGC’s crews is outstanding, as in better than I imagined. If you want something done as cheaply as possible that won't last or add beauty and value to your home, look elsewhere. These folks are quintessential professionals. Set your expectations high for the final product and you won't be disappointed. Do set your timeline expectations realistically however - proper engineering and permitting take time so don't expect them to be rushed, but once PGC unleashed David, Manny, Noel, Mike, Marty, Jeff, and a host of other amazing deck and door artists on my project, there was steady progress. Weather occasionally slowed things down, but only when it was clearly necessary. Progress was never rushed at the expense of quality either. Sincerely, Manny’s attention to detail is so impressive that I want him to do my next shoulder surgery. Or tattoo. Maybe both.

Was everything perfect right away? No, of course not but it was close, and this is where Precision General shines the brightest - their entire crew listens to their customers and refuses to just shrug their shoulders if something isn't exactly right. Everyone on site and everyone in the office handling planning and payments, like Katrina, Jenny, Taylor, and especially Samantha didn't ever (seem to, at least) tire of hearing from me with questions or requests for information. To a person, everyone at PGC is clearly focused on making absolutely certain that the reality of their work meets (or in my case exceeds) their customers' expectations and vision.

TLDR: Precision General Contracting is a group of professionals who create beautiful work, are communicative, provide nonstop, sincere customer care, and are worth every penny and more.

I rarely write reviews, but our experience with Precision General Contracting was so exceptional I had to share. First, the estimating & design process with Anthony was thorough. Anthony was very responsive on design/size changes, and cost estimates were broken down in a very easy and understandable way. Once we decided to go with Precision for our new Trex deck, the timeline put in place hit the mark (they were backed up because we wanted the deck to be built in the fall, which is a very busy time for them, but the approximate date initially set worked out perfectly).

The deck builders/carpenters were a treat to watch. You could tell they took pride in their work, they were the ultimate craftsmen. When they lost a couple of days because of heavy rain, they actually came back out on a Sunday and completed the entire framing of the deck. They always cleaned up the site before they left. Those guys were just A+ gentlemen. Manny's supervision of the job site was outstanding, and Samantha from their main office was always in communication with us during the entire construction phase.

We couldn't be happier with the finished product, and we would certainly recommend Precision to anyone! They are the real deal.

Precision installed my solar panels and the whole experience was phenomenal! I got 5 quotes from 5 different companies and went with Precision. While all the representatives from the five were good, their representative, Scott was over and above everyone else. This was carried through with the installation as well as the front office staff. I am thrilled with my solar and will use Precision General Contracting for any additional work (like painting) that needs to be completed on my home. Thank you for your extraordinary service!

We discovered Precision while perusing the Del Mar home show. The gentleman we met there was charming to say the least, so we scheduled a consultation for the projects we were considering. When the estimatior arrived we were honestly quite surprised at his appearance, as he looked to be no older than 25. However, as the young man spent time with us going over the scope of work we were interested in, we quickly realized his knowledge of home improvement was quite vast. We ended up purchasing new windows, an insulated patio cover, and their lifetime paint product called coolwall. We figured we wouldn't hear from Stephen again after the contract was signed, but that was not the case. He assisted us when there was an issue with the financing, as well as when we had a question about the configuration of the patio cover. Additionally, he actually stopped by once the project was complete to show us the professional before and after photos they apparently take of every project. All and all this way by far the best remodeling experience we have ever had, so we wanted to say thank you to PGC and especially Stephen. We will definitely be calling on you for any future projects we have down the road.

We are very happy with Precision General Contracting. They are very professional. We love our patio covers and patio they built for us. We had to wait a long time to get the work done on the last job, the patio cover, because of covet, but they kept us informed. The delays were not their fault. When the work was complete everything was clean and ready for use.

I just wanted to thank Precision General Contracting for the great job they did putting the texcote on my house. I had used them about five years ago and the quality was not that great. They did a poor job fixing any repairs that the house needed before they did the paint and then painted over damage that should’ve been replaced. I did a remodel and added on some square footage and need to have the Texcote put back on to the new area. They came out and did a great job completely professional and I’m now in the process of using them again to do a new patio cover for me. I just wanted to say thanks to Steve and Pierce and all of his crew for the great job they did and for how professional they were.

We are happy with the work that we requested and that was completed. Manny was fantastic to work with; listened to and explained everything well. The day crew that built the cinderblock retainer wall and prepared the concrete pour were awesome as well. The finished product we are happy with and that plus what has been mentioned above is why there is a 5-star rating.

However acceptable and professional communication is severely lacking. Manny was always great - when we were able to talk to him directly. To talk to Manny outside of in person at our house required us to go to a middle man, Pierce. This was super frustrating because the middle man either did not respond to calls or texts in a timely manner or at all. This is unprofessional and makes a client feel unimportant. A simple text back to acknowledge at least would have been better than nothing. Because of not being able to reach out directly to Manny and using a mostly unresponsive middle man, we feel like the project as a whole took longer than it should have to get answers to our question(s). Additionally email communication leaves a lot to be desired professionally as well. It took FIVE days to get an email response to a very simple question.

Overall, very happy with Manny, the crew and the finished product.

Precision was easy to work with during our total balcony replacement. The job included tearing down the old balcony, adding two posts and a ledger for structural support above our carport and building the deck with composite TREX materials. They moved quickly and did a quality job for a fair price. They were also very flexible and responsive while we navigated through some HOA issues. Precision also offers convenient finance options.

We just had our house painted and it looks beautiful! The guys were very thorough and nice. I highly recommend going with Precision General for home projects. They also repaired our deck before painting. From start to finish, this project went very smoothly, with great communication and customer service!
