Fiesta Mexicana Mexican Restaurant

Fantastic place , very kind people - seems to be a family working there. Eggs in salsa roja is a must - try - simply amazing. We also tried the eggs Veracruz which was also very good. Nice place to relax and have an authentic meal.

Love going here with my mom n uncle. After loosing them both in November 2023, I still keep a memory of us enjoying breakfast lunch n sometimes dinner. Happy times❤❤👏🏾

My friend and I traverse southern California, Nevada and Arizona selling steak, seafood and chicken off a truck. We hit most every dive bar and greasy spoon with occasional fine dining. I enjoy sharing them with you and appreciate your reading them.
In southern California Mexican restaurants and taquerias are so common you barely notice them. I often wonder how anybody gets a small business loan when there is one on every street corner. It is really tough to stand out there are only so many ways you can make a taco, Fiesta Mexicana is such a place.
I can not review a restaurant or bar in these times without also evaluating their Clovid-19 protocols, that is part of that all important first impression. Hats off to Fiesta Mexicana; Temperature checks, outside dinning only, mask requirements, ample germicidal hand sanitizer. This seems like a family run operation and they go all out to keep their customers and employees safe. Seriously, hats off guys.
Fiesta Mexicana is located in the Stater Brothers parking lot on El Camino across from Killer Pizza from Mars. (also 10/10, check my review) There is plenty of safe well lit parking and if you are playing it safe it is easy to place a to go order, find a parking space, pick up your food and get on. Should you choose to "dine in" know it is outside only and they have limited seating but it is so worth it; their wait staff is friendly and super informative, able to help you make a selection.
I swooped in to pick up some tacos as we were having a few friends over. I picked up five pork carnitas, five shredded beef, and five chicken tacos. All three selections were easy top five all time, good enough to earn an extended review.
Pork carnitas ought to have a char on the outside while still being juicy and it is easy to end up with dry pork. Their carnitas melts in your mouth and the seasonings fill your mouth. I noticed our company close their eyes when chewing, it is that good.
The shredded beef was so juicy and tender it delicious...freaking fantastic. I can't wait to taste their chili rellanos and enchalads...
The best tacos I have ever eaten was Nicks crispy tacos in San Franciscos marina district; these are second; if you have never had a Nick's crispy taco you know this is high praise.
I will update this posting when I go back for a more thourough menu deep dive, I for one can't wait.

The most delicious mole I've ever had! So delicious, from the fresh guacamole and salsa to the tortillas. Service was excellent. This is a gem in Oceanside!

Omgggg!!! Craving soup??....order the Caldo Tlapeño (soup) 😍😍😍 They give you a quart of soup, which is more than plenty for one person, so they’re not stingy, nor are they stingy with flavor!!! The broth was delicious, it had tons of chunks floating like zucchini, garbanzos, chiles, bell pepper, avocado, onions, rice and large chunks of juicy chicken. The food also comes with chips and salsa, which came to me as a little surprise when I opened my to-go bag heheee 😆I’ll defff be back! 👌🏼🍜

This is not your average Taco shop . This a sit down home style restaurant with excellent quality food. Order the "camarones suisa " super delicious 😋

This is the best Mexican Food Restaurant in Oceanside and throughout North County. Also the only place that offers authentic café de la olla! If you stop by for breakfast ask about the Huevos Veracruz, it's super delicious 😋

They offer good, simple, authentic Mexican food in a no-frills restaurant! I had a chicken enchilada and chicken taco from the "build your own" list; my hubby had the chimichanga which was small and flat compared to other places. Because they aren't busy at that time, the multi-tasking woman worked the eating area alone; I think she and the chef were the only staff there for our late lunch. But she took good care of us, and the cook knew what they were doing!

A medium sized restaurant that is tucked away pretty well. Friendly service and delicious food. You can't go wrong visiting this place for both lunch and dinner. I had a chicken taco and a chicken enchilada. It was very tasty

I was just passing through and this was a lovely little discovery. So quaint light and friendly. Everyone seemed to really be enjoying their food. I had chicken mole which was one of the best I've ever had. Even the corn tortillas were delicious. Service was very friendly and timely

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants ever! My favorite thing is the enchiladas Azteca, but I haven't had anything I didn't like. The staff is always very kind and helpful, I go here often enough they recognize me and my sister. I have had a good experience both dining in and takeout, as far as I know they don't do delivery.

Hole in the wall, not fancy, but the food is the bomb. Friend had the birria tacos and said they were great. I've had burritos and tacos. Taco Tuesday and Thursdays are some of the best deals you can get. It is right next to Mission seafood in case you want to pick up fresh fish to cook later.

First time eating there. Chips were fresh and salsa was hot and delicious. The food was fantastic. Everything had a fresh taste. Service was very pleasant and accommodating. Everything was exceptional.
