Excellent Customer Service!

Due to a illness in the family, I was not able to do my annual holiday shopping at LV. After the first of the year, I made my pilgrimage to obtain my inserts for my daily planner.

As I entered the store, I was promptly greeted by multiple staff members and one stepped out from behind the counter to assist me. I told her, I'd be a quick and easy sale, I showed her my planner and requested the daily insert.

They were sold out. I wasn't surprised, since it was after the first of the year and most by them at year end. She did show me the weekly insert, but I'm a daily organizer. She offered to order me one and asked if I wanted to pick it up at the store or have it shipped to me home. I opted for my home, since I live an hour away. She quickly processed the sale and thanked me for my business.

The shipping was as quick as a shipment from Amazon Prime. My purchase made at 10:46AM and I was notified that it had been shipped at 11:36AM on the same day. To my surprise, the package arrived at 1:35PM the very next afternoon. When I opened the shipping box, my purchase was presented as if I bought it in the store. That is, Excellent Customer Service

Top-notch service and a diverse, up-to-date selection at this Louis Vuitton Plaza Frontenac location. Their attention to detail is immaculate and I have enjoyed the most pleasant shopping experience in each of my visits here.

I mainly purchase large totes and duffel bags at Louis Vuitton as I appreciate the brand's luxury travel goods for their longtime durability and timeless style.

Staff treated me amazing. I have to admit I was intimidated walking in while I was dressed in construction clothing coming from work but the stuff treated me amazing and made me feel so comfortable while I wasn't sure exactly what I was getting just had pics of what it looked like and they showed me many style of what I was looking for and helped me make the best purchase I could to surprise my girlfriend. Thanks for the smooth transaction and all the help and showing me options. They truly put in the time and effort to cater to me.

MAKE SURE YOU BOOK AN APPOINTMENT BEFORE YOU GO. Amazing experience. I have been there a few times since I moved here recently. The client advisor was great! The first time I had a wait, 1 hour. But for the 2nd and 3rd time I was seen right away. I booked an appointment prior to coming in. I was able to purchase exactly what I needed. The same client advisor who helped me during every visit is very informative and helpful. Ordered me a bag, and I picked it up less then 2 days later! Amazing. I will be definitely be coming back to this store. I do advise, if you plan on visiting this LV store, MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! That way you don’t have to wait an hour or more. I love this store :)

I went to pick up my purse that I had repaired. The young lady at the front door was very pleasant and helpful. The 2 young ladies that helped me at the counter were wonderful. They were both pleasant and very friendly. They were an example of what great customer is.

5/3/2021- I am updating my review today because of the efforts of two store employees. Michelle and Adam provided my family an excellent experience when we returned to the store this past weekend. I was able to fulfill a 15 year or so item on my wife’s wish list and Michelle was patient and knowledgeable in helping my wife acquire the right bag for her. Thanks Michelle and Adam!

I stand by my comments about how inconvenient it is to get into the store. Even with the need for an appointment which is understandable, clients need a way to schedule an appointment prior to visiting. Currently, you can’t schedule online or by phone. The only option is to go and get turned away or be able to camp there all day.

I understand the exclusivity and the value that adds to the product, but I can only imagine the volumes of people like me who don’t give this a second try.

I think maybe I am misunderstanding some key details about the experience of buying a Louis Vuitton and what the typical experience is based on some of the other reviews, but I can only share my own experience.

First, some background. For my wife and I, this would be “splurging”- that is to say that I don’t get my wife a new Louis every 6 months, year or whatever. I buy her Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Coach, etc. my wife has always wanted a Louis Vuitton- but in my world a $3,000-$6,000 handbag would be really going all out.

I had recently made a decision to surprise my wife. I had a nice evening planned starting with going to Frontenac to give her the experience of buying a Louis at the store vs. ordering online. Then dinner at J Gilbert’s.

I called the store from work at about noon to verify store hours and the agent was very polite and told me they closed at 7. This was incorrect apparently because we later learned the store closed at 6. We arrived at around 4:40PM and could see that there were COVID precautions in place. No problem we would wait patiently.

Then a very polite and professional woman greeted us and asked if we had an appointment. My wife responded “no” and the woman stated to us that she could not get us in the store today because they had too many people waiting to go in. There was only one other couple in the line. This seemed strange. We watched for a few minutes as a few others who I presume had appointments were allowed in and as many people appeared to be browsing and leaving the store empty-handed. I thought to myself “surely if they knew we were 100% going to buy a $3,000 to $5,000 bag they would not want to pass on that and we are here over an hour before close. I approached again and said “I just want to make sure I understand, and I am not complaining at all, but I called ahead and we just drove over here from O’Fallon, IL to buy my wife a bag- there is no way we will be allowed into the store today? Again, very polite and professional but the answer was “no”.

I understood there was nothing that she could do, but this ruined the evening for me as I had high hopes of really treating my wife to a special night. Now we felt unimportant and so upset by how the store was operating that we did not want to return at a later time.my wife was unaffected by all of it, but I was really upset.

I run a large business myself with over 50 employees and we operated by appointment only during the early stages of the pandemic. We never got a review like the one I am writing. Why? Because we updated our website, Facebook, Google listing and phone protocols to inform clients that an appointment was required and to offer them ways to schedule one before making the trip.

Some simple measures and communication about what to expect would have set a different expectation from me. But on the website or on the phone an appointment was never suggested or offered. Is that what a high-end shopping experience should look and feel like?

Today I don’t know what I’ll do to make this up to my wife. The experience is what I wanted to provide her so we don’t want to order online but we also don’t want to return to this location after our experience...

I’ve been to this store a few times and got really disappointed with their customer service, the white lady (I think she is the manager) and that one African American man were very rude. I was going to get a tote but their attitude completely changed my mind. It was 2-3 months ago. I thought I would never come back until yesterday I was just happened to be around the area and decided to give this store one last chance. It was better, the Indian lady was very helpful. But the client adviser who truly impressed me with her customer service is Ada Mu. She is very helpful and very nice. Quite frankly I end up getting that purse because of her. She is very considerate and genuinely nice. Thank you Ada for helping me out. You’re great!

My husband and I made the trip to this store for a birthday gift and i must say that I had the most wonderful experience with Timothy and Kathryn. Customer service was fantastic! I totally disagree that employees there are inattentive, rude or snotty. Without going into extensive details, Timothy went above and beyond and made sure I was happy. Kathryn is an asset to this store. She is professional and very down to earth. I am new to St. Louis and she gave me a handwritten list of restaurants to try. We are all FOODIES. We are super excited to get started on it. Everyone was personable and friendly and I really had a great time. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Thank you both for the funny, crazy conversation lol!! I enjoyed every second.

Pete is an absolute angel, and he was SO patient with me, even though I was having horribly annoying complications with my bank. I felt so guilty that he was waiting, but he never once made me feel rushed & was always down to show me different options, when I was unsure of what I wanted to purchase. I went into the store this past week a sweaty mess, and was greeted warmly. I told the salesperson, Enrica, what I was looking to spend and that I only had 30 minutes to find something. She showed me everything in that price range (and a lot that was actually lower than my budget). She found me a purse that I had not even seen online before and was under budget! I was a little hesitant on going in, but the salesperson was really lovely and welcoming. Great experience.

I seriously can not believe this has a 2.8 star review? This is the store is the best place ever! I work with Dave on a regular basis, and he even texts me and sends me all the new items so I never miss out! Dave has officially become my "Louis Vuitton Best Friend"! Everyone in the shop knows me and greets me when I come in, and the store manager always takes some time out to come see me as well. Warm, welcoming, comfortable and fabulous service make this place spectacular!

Kate was a gem. Very pleasant & helpful in the selection process of my purchase. Although some items were not readily available in-store, she offered to order what I desired. With COVID-19 restrictions me mindful that entrance into to store is limited...you’ll be asked to sign in at the door and places on a waitlist. A rep will text when it is your turn.
