San Marcos Family Dental

Came in for my first appointment yesterday and absolutely loved it! Joanna was my dentist and she explained everything really well as she was checking my teeth. It was the first time I actually enjoyed going to the dentist, would definitely recommend.

Update: After being a patient for Dr. El-Maasri for over a year, I decided to do invisalign braces with her to correct a small gap I had in my teeth. Having had regular braces before, I knew the discomforts that came with them and didn't want to deal with it in my 20s. Doing invisalign was the best decision I made because not only did it correct my teeth in a short amount of time, but also no one had noticed that I even had braces! I 100% recommend anyone to do invisalign ESPECIALLY with Dr. El-Maasri who checked in with me throughout the entire process to make sure I was getting the best results out of them! After years of going to horrible corporate dentistry chains, I was convinced all dentists were the same. Until I found San Marcos Family Dental! I was in awe of their high quality, professional and friendly service. They guide you through each step of your treatment without trying to upcharge on treatments that you don't need and even corrected previous work. I referred my entire family!

Dr Reppas & Sofia were amazing! I have HIGH anxiety and they both made me feel very comfortable. They were very atient & walked me through every step. I got a root canal done that I had been putting off,and I am so glad I found them! I feel so much better and happy with their service

This was the best dental experience I’ve had in my life. For the last 10 years we’ve had terrible insurance that only covered 2 star dentists. We have been going to a corporate dentist that was constantly trying to get us to buy treatments we didn’t need. I finally decided I’d had enough and purchased better insurance to find a decent dentist. It looks like I’ve found one that is FAR better than decent! Every staff member I encountered was very nice and attentive. Morgan took the most comfortable x-rays I’ve ever had and used this cool Jetsons looking x-ray gun. She was very kind and knowledgeable. Dr. El-Maasri was wonderful. She had a fantastic personality and was great at making me feel at ease. I was skeptical in the past when I was told that I had receding gums and needed deep cleaning and thousands of dollars of treatment. Dr. El-Maasai examined my teeth and said they were in good shape and she had no concerns. There was no pressure to pay extra for anything. My husband, children and I are very happy with our experiences and highly recommend San Marcos Family Dental!

I was with my prior dentist from about age 16 until the present day (I'm 40 as of this writing). My previous dentist has my records from when I was just 1 year old. Needless to say that I have a great relationship with my previous dentist and I'm kind of fanatic about the care of my teeth and the teeth of my wife and kids. All of this out of the way...my previous dentist closed his practice to pursue other plans and so I was really glad to find San Marcos Family Dental close to home! The care provided by Drs. Reppas and El-Maasri is top-notch! They also have a very talented team of dental hygenists. Their office is very nice and from what I can tell, they are using the latest and best equipment. If you're looking for a dentist in the North County area, I would highly recommend this practice!

I went to San Marcos Family Dental for a cleaning and as always Miguel was great. I needed a couple of filings and I was hesitant because I hate needles. Did I mention how much I truly despise them.
I explained my feelings to Dr. Joanna El-Maasri and she made me feel at ease. She added some numbing gel to my gums and walked me through the process, before I knew it she had injected me and I was already numb. It did not hurt at all. I really appreciate her patience and empathy. She's Awesome!
I'm a person that really hates going to the Dentist, however, I would definitely recommend this office.

Amazing experience here! First I want to complement the staff. They were all very friendly and helpful. Second, I liked the feel of the office. It wasn't that lifeless sterile environment I've experienced with other offices. While clearly clean and safe, it has a "homely" feel when you're in the chair. I went in for a deep cleaning which was performed by Miguel and he eased my nerves, was very informative and did a fantastic job on removing years of staining that I was self conscious about. I'm really happy with the results and can't recommend this office highly enough.

I had such a wonderful experience! Sue, Miguel, and Dr. El Maasri made me feel so comfortable and welcome. The front desk staff made checking in a seamless process and I hardly had to wait before being called back for my appointment. I hadn’t been to the dentist in a long time, but I don’t feel nervous about coming back here at all.

My kids absolutely love this place! Everyone is kind and caring. We've been coming since they were under 1 year old. I highly recommend Dr Reppas and Dr El-Maasri.

The entire team at San Marcos Family Dental are professional, caring, efficient and great to work with. I love my Dentist! Always a smile and warm welcome. Dental cleaning is always done well and my teeth sparkle. My son, who is 12 has been going to then since he was 3 and always felt safe and happy. He has no problem getting his teeth cleaned now and never has been worried about pain,everyone is always so happy he feels happy too.

My husband and I are new to the area we’re establishing dental care in San Marcos. We have both been extremely pleased with the dental care that we have received. Dr. Reppas is outstanding! We were pleased with the time he spent with us on our initial appointment. The office staff is so friendly as well!

We established care with San Marcos Family Dentistry earlier this year and have been so impressed! The scheduling process is quick and easy. Prior to the appointment they go above and beyond in communication, so the arrival/check-in process is seamless. Our three children ages 2 - 6 all had a great experience, and consistently ask when they'll be able to go back. Previously, I have had issues with temperature sensitivity but they use a new tool that you can barely feel! We've seen both Dr. Reppas and Dr. El-Maasri, and look forward to continued dental care with them! If your looking for a dentist for you and/or your family I'd definitely recommend San Marcos Family Dental.

I recieved great service and everything looked clean and professional. I came in for an issue with pain in a one year old filling that was caused by my previous dentist. It was nice how Dr. Constantine laid out how he could fix it, why it happened in the first place, and how it isnt something that should have happened at all. I plan to make this my go to Dentistry office and will try to have my roommate switch to here too.

I have finally found a great Dental practice after 3 years. The staff is awesome. Miguel is amazing, and Dr. Reppas is caring and listens. They all take care to listen. Which is so important.

I've been going to San Marcos Family Dental for 3 years now and over the course, I have had an incredible experience. I drive from Oceanside to San Marcos just to them as my primary dental office. They have phenomenal customer service from the front desk, dental hygienist, and of course, Dr. Reppas and Dr. El-Maasri.
During the time of COVID, they were extremely precautious, and professional. I appreciated their thoroughness with safety.
I love all the appointment reminders as I often forget to place them in my own calendar.

I’m so happy with the result of my tooth filling/whitening. I had a yellow tooth for 20+ years and Dr. Reppas was very attentive in ensuring I was comfortable and that the color matched. The entire staff is very kind and personable. So happy to have come here for my dental care.

Highly recommend this office- especially if you're nervous about visits to the dentist! They do everything they can to make your visit a breeze from your choice of music, a gorgeous office, and even blankets if the office is cold! (I'm not kidding, I just mentioned being cold and then I'm laying back in a chair all cozy while they pulled a tooth and I can't imagine going anywhere else since). Dr. El-Maasri is so nice and incredibly knowledgeable and her staff are all just as great! Amanda at the front desk is so sweet and accommodating to crazy schedules. The hygienist, Katrina, is very thorough and full of helpful tips to keep your teeth and gums healthy. This office has made me not dread dentist appointments:)
