PLEATS Dry Cleaning & Fine Tailoring

Amazing experience here in April 2023, getting my entire wedding suit tailored from top to bottom. I very much enjoyed the customer service (the receptionist was super kind!) and the seamstress patiently working with me to suggest where needed to be tailored based on my preference and style, despite me having 0 experience or knowledge on clothing tailoring. Also got all the clothes dry cleaned. IMO the pricing was great!!

I have only used them for alterations but they did great work, were prices right, and it only took a few days each time. My first item was a ball gown and they were so helpful showing the best changes that would make it fit perfect. Because of their great work and price on that I have since brought jeans and a work shirt and again I was very happy with their service.

I had my wedding dress tailored here, and was thrilled with the results. They fixed the length, the fit, and added clear snaps to make sure the lace laid properly over the zipper. It was very affordable, easy to get an appointment, and when I needed the dress taken in a little more, they did the second adjustment quickly and at no additional charge. Will definitely go back!

Took a bridesmaids dress here for a hem and they were easily the best price between San Marcos and Carlsbad. $25 for one layer hem and the service was super fast. I love that you can just walk in with no appointment for a consult. I just brought in 8 other items because of my positive experience. My new go to tailor!

This PLEATS as well as the Escondido location are great. The staff is knowledgeable, the prices are more than fair, and the quality of their work is great. I have not had a bad experience here and go here quite often. Hems, mends, alterations, dry cleaning, etc, all of their services have been top notch.

Amazing staff all around, very professional and excellent fine tailoring. I just bought a new suit for an event and needed a lot of work done fast (shirt sleeves, jacket sleeves, back taken in, pants taken up) when I called the lady on the phone worked it out for me to meet with the seamstress at 9 and everything was done same day! Top quality! Now I'm going out looking and feeling like a million bucks! Thanks PLEATS!!!

I have had numerous disaster experiences with other dry cleaners trying to find a place that won't ruin my clothes. I will NEVER go anywhere else ever again.
I can understand why someone might say their prices are a little higher than others, but I would rather pay a dollar more for the peace of mind knowing they will never ruin my clothes, lose buttons and shrink my clothes.
Not only do they get out the toughest stains, but they are masters at tailoring.

From the way they alter your clothes to fit your shape, fix the items deemed unfixable, outstanding customer service from each one of the girls that work in both location, and constantly continue to exceed my expectations, they should be ranked #1 in all of San Diego County.

Cecelia did such a FAST and fantastic job on a dress I needed altered for a wedding. Tried on so many at stores since I had none that fit at home because of Covid extra weight gain. Found one at last but hated the sleeves. Didn't get the sweet girls name at the counter and I am so sorry. Thanks girls for saving me!! I really appreciate what you did for me.

They did a wonderful job tailoring my bridesmaid dress. The staff was very helpful super friendly! I also went to five different shops around the area and they had the best prices by far. Highly recommend
