Traveltrust

I've used Travel Trust for 2 years now through my employer. I have never had a problem with prompt assistance - which is only necessary in last minute planning. I recall one FRI late afternoon getting travel booked and handled in no time. They are great.

Terrible just Terrible. They were given the Texas Lottery Account to book winners and guest to Hawaii. We were given the crappiest dates and times even after I provided airline times with open seating to them. Guess they wanted to keep some of that cash to themselves. They do not follow up and they do not disclose needed info until the problem arises. So disappointing. #Texaslottery you got to do better

A few years ago my employer used this company for corporate travel; we no longer do. TravelTrust attributed my airline miles to the wrong account so I didn't get "credit" for an overseas flight...a considerable amount of mileage. I asked them for THREE MONTHS to correct their mistake and the consistent response from their employee, Tom, was "I'm working on it."

As it turned out, Tom never "worked on" a damned thing. He never even CONTACTED the airline, let alone tried to fix his mistake, and the airline verified this. He couldn't have fixed it if he wanted to because, as the airline pointed out, he couldn't have corrected the error without having my home address; TravelTrust never had, and never asked, for that information. If Tom really had tried to correct his screw up, he would have known this; he was OBVIOUSLY lying.

After at least six calls to the airline I managed to fix it myself. Unsurprisingly, Tom got a VERY nasty phone call from me; I do not appreciate being lied to by one of our vendors. Yet instead of apologizing to me for their employee LYING TO ME for three months, one of TravelTrust's VP's had the nerve to complain to my employer about the language I used with worthless, LYING Tom. The BALLS on these people!!

Well, that tactic backfired on them. I got the miles fixed and was willing to let it go, but when TravelTrust "ratted" on me, they ratted on themselves. When I explained to my employer WHY I "cussed out" Lying Tom, they were as appalled as I was. We stopped using TravelTrust because they clearly have no integrity.

I do NOT recommend using TravelTrust--we don't anymore--because they are INCOMPETENT LIARS.

Go elsewhere, close minded small expensive agentcy. Very bias when it comes to their consumer. Many more ethical agentcies to chose from. Stuck in the 1980's when most employees started.
