My family and I have been customers of Chicks since 1987. The current owner, Eli and his family are very friendly and always deliver excellent customer service every time I come in. Their $6.99 lunch special (before tax) is the best deal in all of San Diego. Their chicken is delicious and they have a lot of sides to choose from. I also love their corn bread, which I always double order. Definitely a go to lunch or dinner spot for anybody living in Encinitas or in the North County surrounding area.

My family and I have been coming to chicks for 25 years and it has always been one of my favorites. I now am 25 and living in North Carolina and every time I come home to visit, chicks is my first meal. I would have it every day if I could. Their chicken is delicious as well as all of their sides to chose from and their corn bread is to die for. The owner and staff are like family and box every dish with love. There is truly nothing like chicks and no other healthy and comforting meal like theirs. Live, love, chicks 💛

We came for the first time to find quick lunch before my daughter's class started. And I can't believe the price!. And when we ordered the portion is unbelievable!. You can't beat price with that big portion!. I read 2 people complained here about the taste and price. What did you expect dude?!. Go find junk food restaurant with the price you wanted!. You guys were being disgraceful!. I know exactly the prices and the portion any other restaurants these days. We didn't go to the restaurant like this for a very long time!. This kind of food serve for VA hospital usually and considered well seasoned, simple and healthy!. And for the owner of this restaurant, I'd say thank you so much for amazing meal! We would come every week! You guys doing great!

Been going here since 1989. Always great chicken and sides. Outside of the center was just renovated. New owners have kept food quality the same, great food and service.

This is the best chicken ever. If you are looking for great protein, this is where to find it. The service is excellent. The restaurant is clean. I mean spotless. The staff are friendly, prompt and attentive. There are plenty of Gluten Free options.

The owners are really sweet! There are many healthy options to choose from, including brown rice, steamed sweet potatoes, and steamed broccoli. They have a great sesame ginger dipping sauce as well as an award winning BBQ sauce. The portions are huge, but if you want something smaller, they offer a great lunch special as well. Vegan options are available.

Been a patron here since I was a child. The food is amazing there isn't anything in town that compares to this comfort food spot. Tonight they helped nurse our sick daughter back to health again with there famous soup. The portions are huge and the staff is so friendly they really make you feel like family. well be back

this is the sweetest loveliest little place. I only recently started eating chicken after abt 5 years of being pescatarian. figuring out how to do it and what exactly to eat so I don't get totally freaked out has not been without struggle. the owner at Chicks Natural was nothing short of an angel, letting me try things, giving me a portion that would last me for days, and just being patient and open hearted. the food was honestly... like way too good for someone who has always had a hard time with eating animals. AND it was all super nutritious and not at all heavy or guilt inspiring. sweet humans, good eats... go here. go now. xoL
