Breakfast Republic

One of the best breakfast options in the San Diego area. I came upon an invitation from my wife, and we had a wonderful time. The atmosphere is unparalleled, and we enjoyed chatting and sipping coffee on our morning romantic date.

The service was excellent; our waiter was always attentive and ready to make recommendations for our dishes. Our coffee cups were never empty!

We truly had a great morning. The chilaquiles were excellent and generous, and we finished our breakfast with a delicious cinnamon roll pancake.

Wow!! Love all the vegan and vegetarian options here! The food and atmosphere were awesome 👌🏽 Perfect brunch spot for all. Can't wait to go back!
We were a party of 4, and we all loved our meals. Our food was served rather quickly as well. I ordered the vegan veggie & pesto frittata, and my partner ordered the vegan Jammin' Bennie. The parents ordered the strawberries and mascarpone French toast and coconut lemon pancakes!
Drinks ordered were cappuccinos and ube iced coffee.

Fantastic atmosphere food and coffee. Try the traditional bottomless cup Mexican coffee.

Delicious breakfast, good service, and relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend the crab and crawfish cake Benedict and the Jalapeno bacon cheddar sausage omelet.

Beautiful environment and dishes! Our favorites were definitely the pancakes, breakfast burrito, and jambalaya. The portions are pretty big, so we had leftovers. We went around 8 AM on Wednesday, so there was no wait, and the food came out pretty fast! It definitely became busier once 9 rolled around, but wait time seemed minimal. Definitely a new favorite spot for breakfast/brunch!

Love their gluten Free oatmeal pancakes with blueberries in it which made the pancake moist and tasty.

Met a friend here for breakfast and it was easy to find a seat. Service is on point and the coffee is better thane Snooze! Had the eggs benedict traditional with Canadian bacon and hollandaise Sause and it was really good. My friend had the egg sandwich. Will come back here again!

And grits was great. the set up was super cute I’m glad they sell their mugs because they’re very relatable. It’s also a close walk to the beach with a nice boardwalk

Saw this place on social media and was so excited to try it but also skeptical because these days people only post the aesthetic and not the food.. however I was not disappointed! I came her with my parents and we ordered the breakfast jambalaya, the breakfast burger, breakfast sammie and the flight of pancakes.

We ordered the breakfast jambalaya with sunny side up eggs but they came out with scrambled eggs on top. The waitress promptly got us out the right eggs. We tried the scrambled eggs and they were so light and fluffy oh my goodness.. the breakfast burger was absolutely delicious and so was the breakfast sammie! The pancake flight was strawberry cheesecake, Oreo and churro. They were all delicious but the churro pancake was a little too dry. But over all it was all good! Great service and great food will definitely be back!

Very nice breakfast, and a great menu. Will probably come again next time I'm in San Diego

This is our families favorite breakfast and brunch spot any day of the week.
From savory to sweet the dishes are always delicious and they have hearty serving sizes. They also have great options that accommodate my gluten and dairy restrictions. The cafe de oja is a treat, and to top it off the staff is always more than awesome.

It was our first time to Breakfast Republic, and I have to say I was very impressed. It started with our server Apollo he was friendly , attentive, and took great care of us. The food was very good and the prices were very reasonable for what we got. Loved the Brioche French toast and the Eggs Benedict . We will definitely be going back soon.

Amazing little spot to have some breakfast. Another plus is the speed of getting your food without sacrificing quality. Highly recommend.

O.M.G! This is really my impression of this restaurant. I hardly go out for brunch knowing most popular brunch items (pancakes, omelet, French toast, eggs Benedict) are not vegan. Thus, I was so thrilled to see they do have a few vegan brunch options. Not only that, they are REALLY GOOD!!!!
The vegan omelet not only looks like actual omelet it also tasted like the real omelet! I don't know what product they use as egg replacement. The texture and taste was definitely right on.
The vegan benini just like egg Benedict without eggs. The dressing/sauce was so delicious that I couldn't believe it was vegan. It's like melting yolk in your mouth or some other creamy sauce that makes the dishes so good and smooth.
Their mixed berry jam that comes with toasts was very impressive as well. It was not too sweet or too sticky. It was just right amount of sweetness. However, I saw their whole jar of mixed berries jam for sale that was placed on the shelf. It listed 50g sugar in a tiny jar! Hm....it's better not to face the reality someone's.
Anyhow, I enjoyed every moment at this place and will absolutely come back for it. Or maybe they can open one in LA, please?

Fantastic food quality and selection. Clean and happy people hang out here. Free WiFi although it's slow to a crawl.

Amazing breakfast food! I love the Oreo latte! We went there twice, the first time the service was great and the second time the service fell short. But overall, good experience and I would recommend eating here!!

Everything we have was so good! This place exceeded my expectations. We shared the jalapeño cheddar omelet and sausage and the craw fish cake Benny which was amazing. Highly recommend the French toast sampler.

Probably my favorite brunch chain in SD. They have a lot of interesting menu items that are more than just your typical egg & bacon brunch, and the food tastes great with generous portion.

Appreciate the outdoor seatings at their different locations so I could bring my dog with me.

Will be coming back to try out more, but loved both the jambalaya & grits so far.
