Pho Ha Grill & Bar

The restaurant is situated in a mall with low foot traffic, occupying a corner that is often overlooked. Despite the location, the food served is quite enjoyable. The restaurant has recently undergone a change of ownership, and it appears that the new owners are working towards improving the establishment.

A nice spot off the highway. A cozy little corner spot. Great service and an outstanding meal. Filled me up and hits the spot. Got an outstanding selection of Pho to traditional Vietnamese cuisine. Bring a group for a feast.

Tonight was a pho kind of night. Love this place . It never disappoints. Started with some egg rolls and onto the Pho. Great service and food. Family friendly.9

Quite possibly the best pho in North County. The broth was delicious with depth of flavor, noodles and meat were cooked to perfection, and the side dishes were delicious as well!

My wife and I had a splendid time here, we ordered thai tea,, spring rolls, seafood pho, and grilled chicken with rice. Starting the experience off with the Thai tea is probably the best thing about this place. We even witnessed kids coming in just to order Thai tea for themselves! It was super exciting to see locals so excited. The spring rolls reminded me of some I have had in Wisconsin at the best place I have had pho at; the best part of the pho here was the squid. It was the most tender squid I have ever had, bravo 👏. With the grilled chicken, my wife said it reminded her of home, she may be philipina but the chicken was juicy and sweet, grilled just right. Over all I would suggest trying this place, it's one of the best pho places I have been to!

This place is just as good as any Pho around. I love it plus it's down the street from my house. If you have a family member that's not into Pho dont worry they are a grill also and have many more options for everyone. I ordered the egg rolls which are outstanding. Also ordered P1 largest Pho plate they have and it's so satisfying! Definitely recommend this place.

Okay peoples! They just opened on 11/24 so they are still trying to work the kinks out. Here are a few thoughts you should consider before going to Pho Ha I did and I didn't end up walking away or angry.
Be prepared to wait. You will wait for your food.

When you walk in there's a podium. Walk up to the podium and write your name on the sign in sheet. If no sign it, wait very close to it until an employee walks up and make sure you give them your name.

I asked for a table of 2 on a busy, rainy, cold Thursday night. The wait was about 20 minutes for a table.
I knew there would be a wait and I chose to wait.

Food:
I'm that odd person who didn't want to order PHO. But, I only wanted to taste the broth.
-Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings
-Pork Banh Mi
-Pork Ribs in a stew broth
-It came with Pho Broth too.
The food were all bursting with different flavors and it was delicious. The pork ribs were define and had a sweet taste to it. The wings cooked crispy but it had too much of the sauce. But that's my preference because Tupac thought otherwise. He enjoyed it. The Banh Mi was just alright. The bread was not toasted or crispy on the outside like I've had at other restaurants. The pork meat however was yummy!

We waited about 35 minutes for our food which again I knew would take a bit longer. We did not order the traditional Pho. Everyone's food were being served before us. Sigh, but again, I knew that Pho is quick.

The workers were hustling all night long. I watched them runaround and they all did well. Our server was very nice. I wish I got his name. I even saw people getting mad. One guy was upset because he said he didn't know that he was supposed to check in at the podium when he walked in and that he had to wait then he had to wait again to order. The server that helped him apologized for the confusion and made it right. Within 5 minutes they got their Pho and other dishes.

Overall, I would definitely return. I've been to a lot of Vietnamese Restaurants and I'm happy that Pho Ha Grill & Bar is in North County.

One of the best Vietnamese family owned restaurant in the area!

Today they were so accommodating with my family. We were a party of 20–25 people and they treated us amazingly!

There are also a lot of variety of food from pho to banh xeo to veggie dishes as well!
My favorite was the Bo Loc Lac and their Thit nguon with bread was sooo good !

Give it a try! You won’t be disappointed !

Love this place! The eggrolls are amazing and the p19 chicken pho is phenomenal! Waitress was so nice and funny! My go to place for PHO!

I have been here 4 times in the past few weeks! Both the food and the service were EXCELLENT! I loved every dish here. Try the garlic and butter escargot!

The food and service were great. The food was very tasty and flavorful. It was a bit pricey.

Nice family business and terrific restaurant recently opened had to try it recommended by my friend who loves the place. You'll enjoy your meal and atmosphere for sure. Great opportunity for my son a friend and myself to hang out. I don't think I've ever taken a restaurant pic so it must be good.

Great place- We've been going here pretty much since they opened and the staff have always been very friendly and competent.

Me and my sister split the P11 and C17 (which also comes with rice and some other vegetables)- which is enough to comfortablely fill us up. I would highly recommend the C17 (diced steak with rice) as it's always super tasty.

Loved the food! Beer bit expensive. Dodger stadium price...almost! But I would definitely recommend. One of the owners was there and had a good conversation.

Great service, even better food. Got the p.01 which is everthing except meat balls. Pho soup is served almost immediately. Place top to bottom is clean, dust free and service with a smile. My new go to place for pho.

Pho Ha is in a really convient location right on the corner of Mission and Douglas. This was formerly a breakfast restaurant and the building sat empty for about a year. It is nice to have a locally owned business here. There is plenty of parking and the lot is clean, well lit, and safe. The restaurant itself is clean and cozy, the tables are a tad smaller than I would prefer. The menu is large for a small restaurant. My friend and I split an appetizer of shrimp spring rolls, he ordered the sizzling beef plate and I had the steak pho. The staff was friendly and took a minute or go over the menu. The service was prompt, the food arrived piping hot and the portions were generous. The food was wonderful and I will return.

First time. Everything was good. Had shrimp spring rolls and fried tofu and beef vermicelli and mango smoothie boba. Will return.

First time here and will come back again. I ordered just a small bowl of rare steak Pho and to my surprise the bowl was gigantic! The soup was delicious and for the basic price it had the most meat I've ever had at any pho restaurant for the same dish. Flavors on point for the soup. When I go back I will try other stuff since their menu has so many different food options that I have not seen elsewhere. The place is nice with large televisions and a bar. Service was also very good.
