Just moved to Encinitas been all around town looking for a taco place could not find one that satisfied me went to jorge’s and I’m telling you it was the best Carne Asada pork and chicken tacos that I’ve had. I’ll be back in a couple days to try the rice and beans

So good!! We have been going there for 20 years. I used to go there before I could see over the counter! Can't go wrong with the soup or even just a bean and cheese. My mom loves the cabbage salad and chicken tacos!

I believe this to be one of the best if not the best Mexican restaurants in Carlsbad. All the food is excellent but the chicken soup is out of this world. Anybody who likes chicken soup has got to stop by and give this a try!

Everything on there menu is great. The California burrito is the best in town. They use diced potato instead of fries. I also like adding their salsa (it’s pretty spicy) to the chicken soup. It’s perfect.

Whenever I'm visiting Carlsbad, I try to make it a point to go to Jorge's. The food is prepared fresh, and is so good! A great place for authentic food.

I love this place. It's a hidden gem for Mexican food. The soup is their bread and butter but I haven't had anything on the menu that I didn't love. Everything is fresh and tastes homemade.

Food is cooked authentic Mexican family style. Such great flavors, and very fresh food. Mexico City chicken soup is awesome. Full of sauteed veges, tender rice and big chunks of white meat chicken. So good!

Been going here for years. Never overly fried, chicken is moist and lean. I always get the Chicken and rice burrito with avo or guac

I've been coming here for almost 20 years and it is by far my favorite spot. The soup is amazing and the burritos are great. California burritos have potato instead of fries and it's so much better that way. Always cooked perfectly.

Hand's down the BEST Mexican Chicken soup in San Diego! It NEVER disappoints and always satisfies. I heard their other dishes are great too but they are famous for their Mexican soup! BONUS - If you are coming down with a cold, flu, etc. - run, don't walk, and buy some of their soup for miracle healing! It is amazing!

Comfort soup, one of the reasons I'd drive from anywhere to go here...So kind people, so grateful they are open so much. Paying my neighbor with their soup. One of their wonderful features are the detailed maps of Mexico on the wall!
