We got married here on 9/23 and it was wonderful! The camp hosts were super nice. Just an absolutely gorgeous setting and close to Stevenson so restaurants etc easy to access. Definitely not a quiet nights’ sleep with the trains but we knew what we were in for and for the purpose of a stunning venue and a place for people to sleep after without driving, totally worth it. All of our guests loved the venue, and those who camped loved that too- Even despite the trains we plan to come back in the future!

The best thing about this campground is not its natural beauty, although the scenery is STUNNINGLY beautiful. Sure, the ball field and playground could use updates, but the bathroom and showers were newer and most importantly clean. No, what makes this campground great is that it has clearly been well maintained by people who really care about it. The campsite hosts were very friendly and helpful, but also very protective of the park and us campers. This campground is a precious gem, and if you're lucky enough to stay there, please take care of it too.

Best campground I’ve ever stayed out! Bathroom/shower were not bad. The host were very nice and understanding. There are lots of trains that go by that are very loud but i definitely recommend staying here!! They also a have nice beach to go swimming out!!

This is a hidden piece of paradise. The camp host, Christopher, and his “boss” are the nicest people you could hope to meet. So accommodating and helpful.

We arrived without a reservation, no problem. We are fussy about sites - no problem.

There are water views, portaloos but no direct water access from the camp. It’s a beautiful spot but better suited to smaller sized vans, and tents. There are a few pull through sites but fortunately not many big rigs with their noisy generators here!

I was hesitant about this place after reading some of the old reviews but boy, how things have changed. It is a lovely park with baseball fields and a campground that can accommodate tents and RVs. The campground is well maintained, situated right by the Columbia River great for fishing and well sheltered by the trees. Also it doesn’t get overcrowded because only six people are allowed in each site. That keeps groups down to a manageable size. Porta potties and trash cans make it easy to keep the place clean. You can hear the train horns regularly. Just wear ear plugs if the noise bothers you. Will definitely come back. They accept cash only. No checks, debit or credit cards.

Great campground. Lots of shade. Toilets are porta potties but clean and enough spaced throughout campgrounds. Flush toilets and showers are available but a 5 min walk. There is a swim beach and big park area. Hosts are friendly and keeps the place clean. The view of the Gorge is amazing. We come here to paddle our outrigger canoes and this spot goes well with logistics for downwinders. Its a first come first serve, $20/night, $5 per extra vehicle. Free firewood all around they allow you to collect and they even have stacked piles for you. Its pretty quiet at night except for train noses.

Had a great time. The host is friendly. They have fire logs already cut up for one to use. Showers and facilities available. If you're a light sleeper I suggest bringing earplugs the train passes by. Overall its a great site to camp

If you are here to paddle the white salmon and the wind river, then this is the perfect place to lay your head. The campground is well shaded for those that like to sleep in until noon. There is a lovely beach within walking distance and a convenience store across the street. The campground was well kept and the camp hosts are wonderful! Will be back soon!

Awesome convenient campground in the Gorge! Super sweet hosts Bryan and Corrina, really clean shady sites with river views. Walk down to the river, sit in the sun, kayak and hiking all super close. Not busy during the week, we loved it!

What a great little campground. The new camp hosts(2020) turned around the negative reputation of this hidden gem. They cut many trees, rake all campsites between campers, and enforce the rules including quiet time at 10 o’clock so all can enjoy their stay. What a great campground this is.

We were at Home Valley in early October and it was fabulous:… A very nice little dry campground and the host was great…
Will say the wind was relentless but the day we left it was of course calm…
We had a 24’ trailer and had no issues getting in….

A great campground! I had the choice spot after the rain. Some people decided to head home. Good for me! Last night and I had the best site of my bike tour.

This was an excellent place to stay along the Columbia! Easy access to boat launches, beautiful camp sites, and enough space for a 34' RV. Brian the camp host was incredibly helpful and very accommodating. We will be staying here again in the future.

If you’re looking for a Tranquil Experience OH BOY is this it!!! Do NOT pass up the Opportunity to be awoken by A Passing Train & It’s Horn every 20 minutes from Dusk til Dawn. And if you looking forward to camp & be squeezed in as tight as possible to your fellow campers just
like the concrete jungle you were trying to get away from, look no further, You’ve found your Paradise!!!

Chris The Host Was Excellent-
I was aware of the Train Prior To Booking but never in wildest dreams did I think it would be that loud and that constant.

Stayed One night. Then went to Dog Mountain.
1. Clean Campsites.
2. Plenty of small wood around.
3. $20 / night with one car.
4. Gentle Breeze keeps the bugs down. (some mosquitos)
5. Nice pleasant place.

Love this spot! Comfortable, cool, beautiful views, nice swim spot, lots of room to run and play for kids. Only downside is the loud trains.

This place is absolutely epic.
Was gonna stay down the street but decided after driving through camp & speaking with the lovely host, Bryan to stay here.
Awesome views of the water when I open my van doors and there was even wood for a fire already chopped & ready to go- talk about service!
Really lovin this place, will definitely be my new go to when staying in the hood area.

Great place, but the quiet time starts at 10:00 pm, and generators should not be running -however, they did! Still love this place
