Really neat place to learn about salmon from beginning to end. See HUGE sturgeon Henry, about 10 ft long, 75 years old, weighs approx 500 lbs. Also make sure you check out the dam and the fish ladder! N

I was at the hatchery this week for a temporary job position, and visited the gift shop each day, mostly for hot drinks from their expresso bar. Both Lauralee and Angel gave superb customer service each and every time. They were very gracious and went the extra mile, not only in serving beverages but also in helping me pick out clothing and gift items.
It was a joy to be served by them. I look forward to shopping there again.

Delightful gift shop...the type where you've found your kitchy treasure and another shopper holds up something even cuter. Fun selection of vacation memorabilia with coffee and sweets corner tossed into the mix. Bought myself garden 'art' and look forward to shopping there again.

Wide variety of gift options including clothing, jewelry, kitchen ware, home decor, art, sticker, patches, gemstones and more, to Friendly staff and clean environment; Staff properly masks and masked required for patrons.

This is a fun place to go and bring guests. From the outside, it apoears small, so lots of people just pass it by. But, it's worth a trip insude. The gift shop is very crowded with cute inventory with friendly people working there. They have a large variety if tourist stuff from blazing pink glamingo handled umbrellas to post cards, tee shirts to Oregon jams.
To the vack, you will find a smsll, very crowded coffee kiosk serving the typical array of beverages by friendly people. Our coffee was goid, especially on a cold, cloudy spring Portland day.

It was a great little gift shop. Changed a lot since the last time we were there. They are carrying so many local items that it is nice to see not so many mass produced things.

We always enjoy finding a few fun things in the gift shop.

A welcome coffee bar inside drew us in, but we spent most of an hour looking at the variety of items offered for sale - even found huckleberry chocolate bars!!
