A trendy spendy coffee shop in a retail spot that feels like a warehouse - I mean that in the best possible way, it's a vibe.
I wanted to stop there, at a trendy coffee shop, however the COFFEE IS SO GOOD—even the decaf.
There's tons of seating, even tons of parking. Can't always say that in Melo Park.

As someone who embraces the flexibility of remote work and is currently enriching my skills through a business English class, finding the ideal spot to blend productivity with comfort is crucial. My quest led me to this coffee place, a place that not only caters to my professional needs but also creates an enriching environment for my 12-year-old daughter, who studies homeschool. She thrives amidst the vibrant energy of nerds, entrepreneurs, and fellow students, making it a perfect setting for both of us.

This coffeebar is a gem that stands out for its exceptional ambiance. The coffees are superb, each sip delivering the rich, nuanced flavors that only the finest beans can provide. The snacks are just as delightful, offering the perfect complement to any beverage choice. The music is thoughtfully selected to enhance the atmosphere, creating a background that's conducive to focus and relaxation.

The coffee shop is huge. Lot of indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered an extra hot, less sweet ube latte and exactly got that. Although if you want a real coffee kick, ube latte wont do for you. Would love to visit again and try other coffees here.

one of my fave spots to get coffee (and various other cafe drinks) and sit with friends studying or working. pourovers are solid, liked the costa rica, was not acidic and round. lots of space, good music, and windows are nice surrounding. parking lot just outside too!

Beautiful modern, woody with metal, coffee shop design! The ambiance and spaciousness is worth coming to this coffee shop alone!

I got the avocado toast. It wasn’t particularly different taste from other avocado toast out there, but still was well put together, and over a very thick bread. Avocado toast was ~8+.

Edited review: monday 2:50pm no seats inside! Waited 15min for bar table. When gets cold, may be a problem.

Classic my type of coffee shop. Everyone here is work/study or meeting friendly-professional.

It’s naturally well-lit. Coffee is good. Tons of places to sit. Booths and a bar. Good parking.

First time visiting and I was blown away by the amazing space and how large and accommodating it felt to come to this place. Tried a pour over in a personal cup and my friend tried their seasonal chocolate mocha. Both were tasty and well prepared.

Off street parking is abundant and seems to be shared with a few businesses. WiFi was a bit slow and am not sure if it was just because of the crowd was there. Coffeebar was quite full of people, but my friend and I were able to find a spot. There’s a lot of seating but many people were either studying or families hanging out. There are tables dedicated to all kind of experiences from sofa like seating to coffee shop seating to large study tables and booths too.

Coffeebar also had some food selection but due to the hours, I wasn’t able to try some of their dishes. You pay a premium for the location and ambiance through the food and coffee, but is what you expect to enjoy this place. Recommended esp. for a good convo or to hang out and read or study.

Update. Still as cool of a space but definitely packed in the afternoon. I think many know of this place and so lots of people show up. Recommended.

Great ambiance, delicious coffee ☕ I would day that their coffee is on the weaker side, but I did get the Ube Latte so it’s not on the caffe haha!

Great place to meet people or work / be productive! They do have light background music playing.

Fantastic coffee shop located near the Menlo Park Caltrain Station. They have lots of sitting space, great food options, and good hours. Their avocado toast was pretty good with the poached egg and their quinoa salad was delicious as well. Very nice place.

Pricey? Yes. Busy? Yes. With good reason? Without a doubt. The staff here are kind, helpful, and informative. The atmosphere is classy but chill, with a variety of seating options (two bars, small tables tucked away and out in the open, a communal table, boothes -- many with outlets nearby). And the fare? Perfectly brewed drinks, mouthwatering sandwiches and crunchy croissants. A lovely place to treat yourself and a friend.

The lattes are great, especially the one called “home for the holidays”. I normally like avocado toast but prefer sourdough bread and different toppings so it wasn’t for me, but lattes are great.

Updated 5/15/2021: Hands down my favorite coffee spot, still, post pandemic. What a great team, solid espresso, and overall mission that is consistent with all their chains. I still frequent the Gibraltar and seasonal drinks! I do miss the espresso millionaire bars!

Updated 7/15/2019: Still popping! Drinks are definitely still solid. The baked goods are a hit, can definitely tell they are not mass produced.

Soft opening review! Coffee vibe from the Tahoe, Reno, Truckee area. Staff was very friendly, and coffee quality is on point. Although there was a bit of miscommunication with my order (me partial to blame in my non caffeinated state, yikes!) the overall experience was nice.

Gibraltar/Cortado was smooth. I appreciate how Coffeebar is putting in efforts to be eco friendly, including baking their muffins "naked" styled, raw linguine for stir sticks, and a $0.30 discount for BYOC. Way to be green!!

Lots of good study space and socializing areas. Outlet plugs are a hot commodity, but with the 3 hour parking limit from 9am-6pm, you should probably be getting up to move around every now and then.

I arrived at 0720 with a handful of folks in the space. By 0900, it was bustling, with a large line and full tables. Bathrooms do need a bit of checking in every now and then, and the music volume can be a tad loud, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Excited to see their improvements and full hours and offerings. I am looking forward to the next visit!

Really nice cafe with a full breakfast and lunch menu. I tried the ube latte special (pictured), which was yummy. Lots of seating outside, though inside was pretty full. A little pricey ($7 for a large special latte).

Quite possibly the best vanilla oatmilk latte I've ever had. Couple with good wifi and lots of tables, this place is a staple.

Beautiful inside and out and lots of seating: bar, outdoor, comfy booths, long wood tables great for working, and lounge chairs for conversation. Pour over is excellent. Prices are comparable to the Blue Bottles and such, fyi. Menu has a great selection of tea lattes (including lavender and matcha), so I'm excited to return and try these! Excited for the long hours after soft opening; this is sure to become a staple in the Menlo community.

Great spot for a coffee chat, love that there’s lots of seating indoors and outdoors. I just had a coffee and it was good. Will go back!

Cant beat this Turmeric latte, I mean look at this beauty. The sandwich is to die for (chicken, bacon) it is savory, crispy and juicy . Love the ambiance and aesthetics

Fabulous! My last day in California and I popped in to grab a latte and to work a bit. My only regret is that I didn’t discover this place days earlier! By far the best latte in town (even in neighboring towns!) the staff was amazing, loved the vibe of the crowd and great work space. This will definitely be my “go to” spot every time I am visiting my daughter! Highly recommend!!!

There is an espresso with a pronounced sour taste. It doesn't feel like an espresso bar, but it's a nice neighborhood cafe to work at.
